दरअसल राष्ट्रपति को राज्यसभा का सदस्य चुनने का अधिकार होता है और इसी अधिकार को प्रयोग में लाते हुए राष्ट्रपति रामनाथ कोविंदजी ने,रंजन गोगोई को राज्य सभा का सदस्य चुना है।यह प्रक्रिया संविधान के अनुच्छेद 80 खंड के साथ 3 पठित,उपखंड(क) के तहत पूरी की गयी ।इसके अनुसार एक नामित सदस्य की सेवानिवृत्ति के कारण हुई रिक्ती को भरने के लिए, राज्यसभा में श्री रंजन गोगोई को मनोनीत किया है। दरअसल यह रिक्ति केटीस तुलसी के रिटायरमेंट के जाने के बाद भरनी थी। 

Indian Railways has today canceled approximately 400 trains due to service maintenance. The majority of trains canceled are commuter trains, some of which are special trains, mails, and other express trains. Most of the trains that have been canceled are commuter trains, including special trains, mail, and some express.

The Railway has announced the cancelation of 411 trains operating on Monday. 287 trains were fully canceled while 124 were partly canceled.

Besides this, on Wednesday 13 trains were diverted by the railway. The timing of 9 trains has also improved. The Indian Railways also repairs the signaling system during the maintenance work of the line, which has contributed to this decision.

नागपुर : महाराष्ट्र सरकार ने बढ़ते कोरोना वायरस के खतरे को देखते हुए कुछ दिनों के बंद का आदेश जारी किया है । महाराष्ट्र के मुख्यमंत्री श्री उद्धव ठाकरे ने ऐलान किया है के आज मध्य रात्रि से मॉल,सिनेमाघर,स्कूल , इंस्टीट्यूशन, जिम , स्विमिंग पूल आदि  बंद रहेंगे । हालाकि प्राइवेट कंपनीज और कॉरपोरेट ऑफिस में काम करने वाले एम्पलाई घर से काम कर सकते है किन्तु कहीं भी भीड़ वाले इलाके में जाने से बचें। यह आदेश महामारी एक्ट 1897 के तहत जारी किया गया है ,अभी देखें तो इसे 31 मार्च तक के लिए लागू किया गया है।                                                                                                                                   हेल्थ मिनिस्ट्री के अनुसार ,अभी तक महाराष्ट्र में कोरोना के 17  पॉजिटिव केस पाए गए हैं। जिसमे मुंबई में 3 , नागपुर में 3  पुणे में 10  और ठाणे में 1  व्यक्ति इंफेक्टेड पाया गया है।                                                                                                          फिलहाल यह आदेश मुंबई ,नवी मुंबई ,नागपुर ,पुणे , पिंपरी और चिंचवड़ के लिए जारी किया गया है।अभी तक भारत में कोरोना के 81 केस पॉजिटिव है।                               

The Indian Cricket Control Board (BCCI) has agreed to postpone the Indian Premier League’s 13th season, and while it was originally scheduled to begin on March 29, it will now take place on April 15. The same was communicated to the franchises.

A BCCI official said it had been decided that the best way forward would be to hold the April 15 cash-rich season. “Yes, the internal decision to postpone the start of the tournament has been made, and it will start on April 15, the BCCI has told the franchises about the same,” the official said.

The government revoked all visas on Wednesday, except for a few official categories, in the midst of rising scare until April 15.

At the meeting in the national capital of Nirman Bhavan, it was agreed that all existing visas, except diplomatic, government, UN/international organizations, jobs and project visas, will be suspended until April 15 as the coronavirus outbreak has already seen over 60 positive cases in India.

The BCCI is set to meet with the IPL team owners on Saturday before the start of the IPL Governing Council meeting and then the way forward will be discussed. The franchises are clear that while they’re ok to have the games minus the fans, they want the foreign players because that’s what makes the IPL a cricket-.

“Yeah, we’ve been told that the IPL will now start on April 15, but what we need is clarification about the availability of foreign players. If we don’t have the four foreigners in the teams, the IPL loses its appeal. After all, they’re just as important to the teams as the Indian stars,” a franchise official said.

Meanwhile, the three-match ODI series has also been called off between India and South Africa. The remaining two matches were to be played behind closed doors in Lucknow and Kolkata after the series ‘ first game in Dharmasala got rained off. With BCCI calling off the show the South African team will soon fly back.

Nagpur: Today, on the Mata mandir road, there broke a massive fire at the plastic industry Sachin Plastics at Dharam Peth. The Source of fire is not identified until now.

The loss of property is not even calculated. Yet casualty is also not reported. The officials are going through all the related details for reaching to any conclusion.

The fire has broken out today in the evening in the plastic industry, which deals with plastic products and chairs based at Dharampeth. The fire has swamped entire premises of the company, leading to the massive loss of property but the value of the loss is yet not estimated by the owner.

A blanket of tension fell within the locality of Empress Mall once a nineteen-year recent lady was seriously injured once she fell from the third floor of Empress Mall that falls underneath the jurisdiction of Ganeshpeth police station space on Sunday afternoon. The girl, known as Shubhangi Shatrughna Hindoo (19), a resident of Nandanvan slums, was operating as a teacher at the game zone of a mall on the third floor. She was standing close to the railing once the incident happened at around 2.15 pm. She suddenly slipped on the ground close to the railing and fell on the first floor. an outsized range of onlookers gathered at the spot once hearing a loud sound. Blood was oozing from her mouth. She was directly hurried to the close hospital wherever doctors told the police that the face and left leg of the lady was badly broken. Her condition is reportedly essential, aforementioned Police Inspector Shvram Kumbhre of Ganeshpeth station house. The police have registered a case and began the investigation
