Nagpur:- One male prisoner, two female guards and four members of the Nagpur central prison staff screened Covid-19 on Saturday as positive. The total grew to 106 in five days.

According to the records of Nagpur Municipal Corporation, cases connected to the prison are the fastest of the first 100. This took Mominpura, Satranjipura, and Naik Talao Bangladesh the ones with more than 100 cases more days.

The civic body is vigorously monitoring communications and quarantining prison quarters residents in Ajni. The field also remains to be barricaded into a containment zone.

State minister Anil Deshmukh and additional DG (prison) Sunil Ramanand were at the Central Jail on Saturday, with the jail under the jurisdiction of the home ministry. Deshmukh said ‘Covid distancing’ has been maintained in the prison which has 1,750 inmates against 1,800 capacities.

43 inmates, seven prisoners, 47 guards, eight staff family members and one prison woman doctor screened positively until this report was submitted since the first case came to the fore on June 30. While a day ago 48 people were taken to the institutional quarantine centre, on Saturday 13 were sent out.

It is reliably known that the ‘super spreader’ may have been the first prison guard who tested positive. His son came back from Mumbai, and was with him at home. This guard later went into jail with 103 others for a 15-day lockout period. He reported symptoms on the 14th day, and subsequently tested positive with his wife.

Around 20 positive inmates were transferred to the government medical college and hospital (GMCH) on Saturday, and another 21 were transferred to the Indira Gandhi government medical college and hospital (IGGMCH). Around 17 asymptomatic patients were sent back to prison for treatment at their respective barracks in accordance with the new guidelines of the Government.

The prisoners have called for proper care through a hunger strike. It has contributed to the current decision to move them to approved Covid hospitals where prison personnel and members of their families are already recovering.

“Out of nearly 37,000 inmates in different jails across the state, the prison system has now released 11,000 sub-trials booked for offences with imprisonment of less than seven years , despite the court orders. It was done to keep Covid in every prison, including Nagpur, distancing him. We ‘re trying to get more bails, or paroles of emergency, “Deshmukh said.

The state home minister, who met with prisoners and prison personnel to learn their concerns, said that after positive tests, 41 prisoners and 56 personnel are now recovering at various Covid centers. “Nine state prisons were in lockdown mode. There are a variety of ways it can spread the infection, “Deshmukh said.

The minister added that 414 prisoners tested positive across different state prisons and 281 have recovered. Similarly, Deshmukh also confirmed that in the state 162 prison personnel were contaminated but 90 were discharged already.

The prison administration has told Deshmukh that a team of five doctors is in place to treat the prisoners round the clock. As well, the home minister inspected the food and other facilities.

Ramanand stated that 37 temporary prisons for screening and testing newcomers were opened in 27 districts of the state. 2,665 newcomers to the jail were accommodated in such temporary arrangements before taking them inside the prison premises.

Nagpur: One day after surpassing 4,000 Covid-19 cases, Vidarbha surpassed 3,000 marks in recoveries on Friday, with a total of 122 patients discharged from various hospitals in the region. Currently, out of 4,138 total cases, 3,104 have recovered, taking the recovery rate of Vidarbha to more than 75%.

Ironically, out of a total of 3,104 recoveries, 1,950 came in 26 days of June alone, which is 63% of Vidarbha’s last 26 days recoveries.

On 26 June, 82 new cases were registered by Vidarbha, while 122 patients were discharged. From the area three Covid-19 deaths were registered  2 in Nagpur and 1 in Amravati, bringing Vidarbha’s casualty numbers to 144. The region’s fatality rate is still 3.47 percent, which is slightly higher than the 3.1 percent national rate but lower than the 4.6 percent Maharashtra.

22 new cases were registered in Akola followed by Nagpur 17, Buldhana 13, Chandrapur 8, Yavatmal 4, Amravati 14, Gadchiroli 2, Wardha 1, and Washim 1. Top 57 patients were recovered in Akola on Friday, followed by Nagpur 25, Amravati 13, Yavatmal 12, Washim 6, Gadchiroli 3, Buldhana 3, Gondia 2, Chandrapur 1. Gondia district now has only 2 active patients, both young and asymptomatic, with 102 out of 104 patients recovered and discharged.

Akola accounts for 74 out of 144 COVID patients deaths in Vidarbha but on Friday there was no new death recorded from there. Two patients, however, one from Gondia and one from Nagpur’s Covid-19 hotspot Dobi Nagar died in Nagpur. Amravati also reported the death of a 71-year-old man from Badnera, the district ‘s newest Covid-19 hotspot. Nagpur now has 23 fatalities while Amravati has 21.

AMRAVATI: On Friday, Hotspot Badnera reported his third Covid-19 death to take the death toll of the district to 21 as Chawadi Chowk’s 71-year-old resident in Old City Badnera breathed his last breath at COVID Hospital. Today, publishing 14 new events, Amravati is now just 14 short of 500-mark. Some cases brought Covid’s count to 486 in the district.

Though 14 new cases came in, today 13 were discharged to take the number of patients recovered to 350. Which is about 72%. A release by the civil surgeon’s office said the Badnera deceased’s swab samples were taken as he showed symptoms on June 24. Later, he was admitted to a district general hospital as the patient developed a high fever. He died in care on Friday morning, while his swab test, along with another 41-year-old male from his family, was positive in the evening. A 24-year-old woman from Weekly Bazar locality tested positive earlier in the morning. These three cases took the COVID patients count of Badnera to 69.

Another PDMC physician, this time a 27-year-old man, tested positively to raise the count of health care staff from the hospital, where nurses have been operating, to three.

Also this evening, Amba Gate reported three cases (M 18, F 44 & 75) to take their count to six, while Mahajanpura added two more a couple aged 51 and 45, to take their count to three. Chhayanagar posted his fourth case through a 28-year-old woman while Sabanpura took her count to 14 through a 56-year old male. Later in the morning, Dattapur reported 42nd case from the rural belt in Dhamangaon Railway tehsil when a 34-year-old man from Anjangaon Surji town tested positively there.

Motinagar in town today gave her first case through a 27-year-old woman, while Gopalnagar ‘s fourth case was posted by a 47-year-old woman. With 21 deaths and 350 patients treated, Friday’s number of active cases is 115 including 11 in Nagpur.

AKOLA: On Friday, Akola registered 22 new cases while discharging 57 patients. Akola has a total of 1,364 cases, 1047 of which have been recovered. The recovery rate is more than 76 percent, which is highest among the districts that have more than 1,000 cases among Covid-19. With six more patients recovered from there, Akola exceeded Nagpur also. Akola is Vidarbha’s worst-hit district with 74 fatalities to date. But a promising factor is the high rate of recovery.

CHANDRAPUR: Eight more people were found positive for coronavirus infection in Chandrapur in yet another spike in Covid-19 cases. In Chandrapur, the number of successful patients has now risen to 74.

Seven of these belong to the tehsil Warora. We include two youngsters 19-year-old sisters and 25-year-old sisters from Warora’s Subhash Nagar who had returned from Aurangabad and tested positive. Similarly, Covid-19 also found positive a pair, including a 64-year-old husband and 54-year-old wife from Waghnakh village in Warora tehsil, who had returned from Mumbai and had been placed into quarantine in the house. Positive to the infection was also found to be a 32-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman from Abhyankar ward in Warora, who had returned from Hyderabad and served home quarantine. Another 65-year-old individual from Warora tehsil in Dongargaon was also found positive.

YAVATMAL: On Friday, four new positive cases were reported while 12 patients were recovered and discharged at Yavatmal. At Yavatmal, the total number of active patients now is 64. Two men and two women are among four new patients identified on June 26. Three are Digras and one is Darwha. There are currently 88 individuals admitted to the isolation ward, of whom 64 are active patients, while others are presumptive cases whose samples will now be tested.

BULDHANA: In Buldhana, 13 new cases have been reported which are now heading towards the double century of COVID patients cases. The alarming fact about Buldhana is that it is from remote district villages that the cases come. On June 26, Nandura reported four cases wee, and Khamgaon, Shegaon, Alsana, Sagrampur, and Lonar reported one each. Malkapur in Buldhana has emerged as a hotspot in the last eight days with 4 deaths reported from here. There are now 183 cases in Buldhana including 11 deaths and 135 recoveries.

WASHIM: for the second day in a row, on June 26, recoveries were on the rise in Washim. Of 87 cases, six patients recovered taking total recovery to 64. A 14-year-old Mumbai-returnee boy tested positive which was reported here on June 26 only as a new case. In addition to reporting 2 deaths, Washim has 21 active cases, all of which are returnees from various districts in the hotspot.

GADCHIROLI: Two new cases were reported whereas on June 26, three patients recovered from Gadchiroli. Both the youth who screened Gadchiroli positively were returnees, and they were already in the institutional quarantine center. Three women from Mulchera tehsil recovered from the district hospital and were discharged. Today, there are 64 cases in Gadchiroli, and 49 recovered.

BHANDARA: On June 26, the district was the only one from Vidarbha to record no new case and no recovery. Active patient numbers here are 28.

नागपूर:- कोरोना संसर्गाचे प्रमाण दिवसेंदिवस वेगाने वाढतेय, तर शहरातील लोकांतून त्याची भीती पूर्णपणे गडप झाली असल्याचे चित्र आहे. जिथे तिथे गटागटांत लोक दिसताहेत. गर्दीच्या ठिकाणीही लोक निर्भयपणे जात आहेत आणि सामाजिक अंतर भान पूर्णपणे विसरलेयत. जणू या प्राणघातक साथीचा धाकच उरला नाही. विशेषत: तरुणाई मौजमजेत वावरतांना दिसत आहे. बाईकवर ट्रिपल सीट मोठ्या संख्येने दिसतात.

लॉकडाउन शिथिल होताच तरूणांत जशी पिकनिकचीच मनःस्थितीत आहे. बर्डिसारख्या बाजारपेठांत लोक फुटपाथ विक्रेत्यांकडून वस्तू खरेदी करण्यासाठी तुटून पडताहेत. शहरात कोरोनाचे सतत वाढते रूग्णप्रमाण आहे. डॉक्टरांनूसार जुलै ते नोव्हेंबर या काळात एक पीक टाईम असेल आणि त्यानंतर कोरोनाचा प्रभाव हळूहळू कमी होऊ शकेल. अशा वेळी, अधिक सावधगिरी बाळगणे आणि दक्षता घेण्याची गरज आहे परंतु शहरातील लोकांचे सद्य वर्तनातून निष्काळजीच प्रकट होत आहे.

शहरातील अंबाझरी तलावामध्ये मासेमारी करणा-यांचा व तरूणांचा समूह जमा होत आहे. ते अगदी एकमेकांच्या जवळ बसून मासे धरत आहेत. स्त्रियांचीही उपस्थिती इथे दिसते. बरेच मास्क न घातलेले आढळतात आणि सोशल डिस्टंसींग पार पळाले आहे. ही गर्दी येथून पळवून लावेल अशी अंबाझरी तलाव परिसरात कुठलिही सुरक्षा व्यवस्था नाही.

सुमारे दोन ते अडीच महिने घरात कैदेत राहिलेल्या लव्हबर्ड्सना तर अचानकचा अनलॉक वरदान ठरला आहे. अंबाझरी, फुटाळा, सेमिनरी हिल्स आणि सिव्हिल लाईन्सच्या काही निर्जन रस्त्यांवर जोडपी बिनधास्त आहेत.

रविवारी सिव्हिल लाईन्समध्ये रामगिरी रोडवर जेथे मुख्यमंत्री निवासस्थान, पोलिस जिम खाना, डीजी ऑफिस आणि न्यायाधीशांचे बंगले आहेत त्या रस्त्यांवर तरुणाईचाच कब्जा होता. अनेक जागी फोटो सेशन, सेल्फी सेशन, संभाषणात तासंतास रस्त्याच्या कडेला थांबलेले घोळके दिसत होते. काहींच्या दुचाक्या रस्त्याच्या मधोमध, बहुतेकांनी मास्क न लावलेले, छायाचित्रणात व्यस्त असे चालू होते. या ठिकाणी पोलिस अधिकारी आणि कर्मचा-यांचे आवागमन असते त्यांना तेथून हटवण्याचा प्रयत्न कोणीही केला नाही. शहरातील कोरोना संसर्ग पसरविण्यासाठी अशी गर्दी स्फोटक ठरू शकते.

शहरातील बाजारपेठांत भाजीपाला वगैरे खरेदीसाठी लोक गर्दी करत आहेत, सीताबर्डीत तर रविवारी लोकांची फार मोठी गर्दी आढळली. फुटपाथवर कपडे, शूज, चप्पल, रेनकोट, सौंदर्यप्रसाधने इत्यादी विकणार्‍या विक्रेत्यांसमोर लोक गर्दी करून होते. येथेही बहुतेक विक्रेत्यांनी मास्क वा हातमोजे घातलेले दिसत नव्हते.

नागपुर:- महानगर पालिका (NMC) एक संस्थागत संगरोध केंद्र से MLA छात्रावास को कोविद देखभाल केंद्र (CCC) में परिवर्तित कर रही है। जल्द ही, स्पर्शोन्मुख कोविद -19 सकारात्मक रोगियों का इलाज यहां IGGMCH, GMCH या AIIMS के बजाय किया जाएगा। इसके अलावा, CSIR-NEERI और भारतीय पेट्रोलियम संस्थान, देहरादून के सहयोग से एनएमसी ने कोविद -19 के लिए एक 3 डी डैशबोर्ड और सेवाएं विकसित की हैं।

एनएमसी के सूत्रों ने बताया कि पिछले पांच दिनों से एमएलए हॉस्टल में अंतरराष्ट्रीय यात्रियों, संदिग्ध रोगियों और सकारात्मक व्यक्तियों के करीबी संपर्कों को रोक दिया गया है। “राज नगर में एक नया संगरोध केंद्र कार्यात्मक है और दो और जल्द ही उपयोग में लाए जाएंगे। एमएलए हॉस्टल में वर्तमान में भर्ती किए गए 200 से अधिक व्यक्तियों को उनके डिस्चार्ज होने तक स्थानांतरित करने या प्रतीक्षा करने का निर्णय लिया जाएगा।

राज्य सरकार ने अप्रैल के मध्य में CCCs में स्पर्शोन्मुख कोविद -19 रोगियों को स्वीकार करने के प्रावधान किए थे। हालांकि, एनएमसी ने सकारात्मक रोगियों को IGGMCH, GMCH और AIIMS में भेजना जारी रखा क्योंकि पूरी तरह से उनके पास 1300 बेड की क्षमता थी।

बुधवार को, वहाँ केवल 402 रोगियों का इलाज चल रहा है। 11 मार्च को जिले में पहला मामला दर्ज होने के बाद यह आंकड़ा कभी 400 से अधिक नहीं गया। राज्य सरकार द्वारा किए गए शिखर प्रक्षेपण को ध्यान में रखते हुए, एनएमसी ने कलमेश्वर रोड पर 5,000-बेड का सीसीसी भी स्थापित किया था।

 

नागपूर:- कोरोनाच्या वाढीचे कारण म्हणजे अधिकाधिक लोक पॉझिटिव्ह रूग्णांच्या संपर्कात येताहेत. मे महिण्यात पुरेशी दक्षता न बाळगल्यामुळे संक्रमितांची संख्या अचानक वाढली. ही मालिका पुढेही सुरू राहील. परंतु प्रशासनाने संपर्कात आलेल्या 20-दिवसांच्या जुन्या इतिहासाच्या आधारे जास्तीत जास्त लोकांना विलग राखल्यामुळे निरीक्षणाखालील असलेल्यांतच पॉजिटिव्ह आढळत आहेत. हा प्रशासनास काही प्रमाणात दिलासा जरी असला तरी पावसाळ्याचे हंगामात घेतलेल्या निष्काळजीपणा भोवू शकतो. दरम्यान, मंगळवारी 12 रुग्णांमध्ये संसर्गाची पुष्टी झाली. यासह, संख्या आतापर्यंत 1077 वर पोहोचली.

मे अखेरीस आणि जून सुरूवातीस रुग्णांची संख्या वाढली. ईतकेच नाही तर नवनव्या भागात रूग्ण आढळल्याने प्रशासनाला अधिक कसरत करावी लागत आहे. संबंधित जागेस सिल करण्याव्यतिरीक्त पोलिसही तैनात करण्यात आलेत. मंगळवारी आलेल्या अहवालांत भाईपुरा, बजेरिया, हिंगणा अमर नगर, शांतीनगर, इंदोरा, भानखेडा, महाल, चंद्रमणी नगर आणि नाईक तलाव येथील रुग्णांमध्ये संसर्गाची पुष्टी झालीय. वरील सर्व लोकांना वेगवेगळ्या विलगीकरण केंद्रात ठेवण्यात आले होते. हे अहवाल आल्यानंतर संपर्कात आलेल्यांची यादी बनवत विलगीकरण केंद्रावर पाठविण्याची प्रक्रिया प्रशासनाद्वारे सुरू झाली. दरम्यान, मंगळवारी एकूण 5 जणांना एम्स आणि मेडिकलमधून सुटी देण्यात आली.

नागपूर:- नागपुरात कोरोनाबाधितांची संख्या कमाल दिशेने वाटचाल करतांनाचे चित्र आहे, पॉझिटिव्हांची संख्या कमी होण्याऐवजी झपाट्याने सतत वाढत आहे, काल पॉझिटिव्हची संख्या हजाराच्या वर गेली आहे, एकुण १०४१ रूग्णसंख्या नोंद कालपर्यंतची आहे. नागपुरात एकाच दिवसात ८६ कोरोना पॉझिटिव्हांचीही नोंद मागेच झाली आहे.

नागपुरात आत्तापर्यंत एकूण ५० नवे पॉझिटिव्ह आढळले आहेत. नागपूरच्या वेगवेगळ्या भागातील चाचणीत लोक सकारात्मक आढळल्यानंतर आता नागपुरातील एकूण कोरोना पॉझिटिव्ह संख्या १०४१ वर पोचली आहे. यात नाईक तलावातील १७ आणि नरसाळ्यातील १ असे जे पूर्वीपासून विलग ठेवलेले होते, अशांचा समावेश आहे.

पुन्हा दिवसभरात ईतर भागातील रूग्णसंख्येचा जोड होत गेला ज्यात तीन नल चौक २, नाईक तलाव १७, आठवा माईल २, चंद्रमनी नगर ४, नरसाळा १, झाड़ीवाला ले-आउट १, आर्य नगर १, हुडकेश्वर १, आर टि पी एस २, निर्मल कालोनी १, मंगलवारी चिचघरे मोहल्ला १, निकालस मंदिर २, बजेरिया भोईपुरा १, भीम नगर ३, मोमिनपुरा ५, हंसापुरी २, शांति नगर १, ईतवारी धान्य बाजार १, महाल १, खाजगी लॅब १, असे तब्बल ५० ची भर पडत, एकुण बाधितसंख्या १०४१ वर पोचली.

महाराष्ट्राचे आरोग्यमंत्र्यांनी शनिवारी स्पष्ट केले की सरकारने खासगी प्रयोगशाळांत केल्या जाणा-या कोरोना विषाणू चाचणीचे दर 4500 रुपयांवरून कमी करून 2200 रुपये केले आहेत. या चाचणीचे दर कमी केल्याने आता लोकांना थोडा दिलासा मिळेल.

ते म्हणाले, ‘व्हायरल ट्रान्सपोर्ट मीडिया (व्हीटीएम) च्या माध्यमातून स्वॅब गोळा करण्यासाठी रुग्णालयांना आता 2200 रुपये आकारण्यात येणार आहे, तर थेट घरून स्वॅबचे नमुने गोळा करण्यासाठी 2800 रुपये मोजावे लागतील. पूर्वी ही फी अनुक्रमे 4500 आणि 5200 रुपये होती.

आरोग्यमंत्र्यांनूसार सुधारित दर प्रयोगशाळांकडून आकारले जाणारे कमाल दर असतिल. हे दर आणखी कमी करण्यासाठी जिल्हाधिकारी खासगी प्रयोगशाळांशी बोलू शकतात. “खासगी प्रयोगशाळांनी याहून जास्त शुल्क आकारल्यास त्यांच्यावर कायदेशीर कारवाई केली जाईल,” हे नवीन दर देशात सर्वात कमी असल्याचाही त्यांनी दावा केला.

कोविड -19 च्या चाचणीसाठी राज्यात सध्या 91 प्रयोगशाळा असून जवळपास चार ते पाच लवकरच तयार होतील. सरकारने मागील आठवड्यात राज्यातील अधिकृत खासगी प्रयोगशाळांद्वारे घेतल्या जाणार्‍या कोविड -19 चाचण्यांचे दर निश्चितीसाठी चार सदस्यीय समिती गठीत केली होती.

भारतीय वैद्यकीय संशोधन परिषदेने (आयसीएमआर) राज्यातील 44 सरकारी आणि 36 खासगी प्रयोगशाळांना कोरोना विषाणूची तपासणी करण्यास परवानगी दिली आहे. सरकारी-प्रयोगशाळांत चाचण्या मोफत असतात. तर आयसीएमआरने खासगी प्रयोगशाळांमध्ये चाचणीसाठी 4500 रुपये शुल्क निश्चित केले होते.

पूर्वी चाचणीसाठी आवश्यक असे किट आयात केले जात होते. त्यामुळे आयसीएमआरने खासगी प्रयोगशाळांसाठी हे शुल्क निश्चित केले होते. मात्र, आता किट भारतातच तयार केल्या जात आहेत, करिता आयसीएमआर खासगी प्रयोगशाळांशी नवीन दर विचारणा करत त्याबाबत निर्णय घेऊ शकले.
