Sanjay Nipane entered Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) against the vacant post as an additional municipal commissioner. He served as a municipal commissioner at Amravati Municipal Corporation (NMC) and was transferred to the city as per the order given by the Department of Urban Development.
