CBSE class 12 outcome 2020: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has brought positive news for students given the challenges, confusion and long delays in exams and tests. While the percentage of passes has increased, the number of students receiving 90+ marks is also rising.

This can turn into tougher competition and a higher cut-off for college entrances. As many as 1,57,934 students scored more than 90% marks while 38,686 scored more than 95% marks in the results of CBSE class 12. The result for CBSE class 12 can be found at cbseresults.nic.in.

As many as 13.24% of total students have marks of over 90% and as many as 3.24% of the 12 lakh students have marks of over 95%, as the official data suggest. For CBSE class 12 Board exams more than 12 lakh students had registered to appear. Of these, the Board exam was cleared by 88.78% It is a 5.38% improvement from 2019, when 83.40%of students passed the test.

Among regions, Trivandrum saw the maximum students pass (97.67%), followed by Bengaluru with 97.05% and Chennai with 96.17%. A total of 94.39% of students have passed the exam in Delhi. The top-performing region was also Trivandrum in 2019, but in 2019 it had a higher pass percentage of 98.20 %.

As many as 94.26% could clear it out among foreign students. This is a slight drop from 2019 when 95.43 % of students from abroad passed CBSE class 12 exams.

Gender-wise, girls performed best, with 92.15 % of female students passing their exams against 86.19% of boys and 66.67% of transgender students who appeared for the exam and were able to clear it up.

When it comes to schools, the highest scorers have been the government schools. The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) reported 98.70% of the students as passed, closely followed by Kendriya Vidyalayas where 98.62% of the students cleared the exams. The Central Tibetan School Administration schools were 3rd with 98.23% passing percentage and 94.94 government-run schools and 91.56% govt-aided schools. As per the data provided by the CBSE, independent schools or private schools had a pass rate of 88.22%.

The JNV ‘s took over KVs. KVs ended last year with a 98.54% passage, led by JNVs at 96.62 %. Also this year, the transfer rate of top-ranking schools has risen.

नागपुर:- हमारा देश और खासकर महाराष्ट्र राज्य कोरोना वायरस जैसी खतरनाक महामारी की जपेट में है, जिसमे हज़ारों लोगों की जान जा चुकी है. कोरोना महामारी की इस संकट की परिस्थिति में ग्रेजुएशन के अंतिम वर्ष की परीक्षा रद्द करने की सख्त ज़रुरत है. इस मसले पर राज्य और केंद्र में अब भी मदभेद है. अतः शिव सेना की युथ विंग युवा सेना, नागपुर ग्रामीण, की ओर से सोमवार को नागपुर विश्वविद्यालय के कुलगुरु से अनुरोध किया गया कि अंतिम वर्ष की परीक्षा को रद्द कर दी जाए.

भारत सरकार की ओर से अंतिम वर्ष की परीक्षा का आयोजन करने के संबंधित दिशा निर्देश राज्य सर्कार को दिया गया है. लेकिन इसके बावजूद, इस महामारी के समय में परीक्षाओं का आयोजन कर यूनिवर्सिटी के अंतर्गत कॉलेजों में पढ़ रहे बड़ी संख्या में शहर, दुसरे जिलों तथा राज्यों के छात्रों की जान को खतरे में डालना उचित नहीं है. यदि परीक्षा का आयोजन किया गया और इस दौरान छात्र संक्रमित हो गए तो कौन ज़िम्मेदार होगा. अतः विश्वविद्यालय के अधिकारीयों को अंतिम वर्ष के छात्रों की परीक्षा रद्द करनी चाहिए, यह विनम्र निवेदन युवा सेना के शुभम नवले, अमोल गुजर, लोकेश बावनकर, लोकेश आकोटकर आदि पदाधिकारी-कार्यकर्ताओं ने नागपुर विश्वविद्यालय के कुलगुरु से किया.

 

Nagpur:- Two of Maharashtra ‘s largest association of English medium-budget schools say they will not give admissions under the RTE quota until their pending demands are met. The Association of Independent English Schools (IESA) and the Association of Maharashtra English Schools Trustees (MESTA) are firm in their decision not to proceed with RTE admissions for which seat allocation has already been done through online lottery.

Although both have a shared demand for clearing out pending RTE bills, IESA says the other problem concerns a new standard for calculating reimbursements. IESA president Rajendra Dayma said the move was made a couple of months ago and that it would sound the death knell for their budget colleges.

“As per law, the RTE quota must be reserved for 25% of the total class strength. So for 25 RTE students in a class strength of 100, the government must pay us out. But now, the department of education says payment will be made for 25% of the number of students admitted to the general group, “Dayma said.

He added that this sounds confusing and that is why the warning signs were not understood by many people. “So, say that 25 students are admitted to the RTE quota and that only 50 students are admitted to the general quota. The government is not going to pay us for all 25 students on RTE now. Instead, they calculate 25% of the general admissions done (50) and only pay us for 12 or 13 students. That means no one is going to pay fees for the remaining students in the RTE quota, “Dayma said.

IESA has written to the Department of State Education, but no response has been received so far.
MESTA says the department of state education lacks the unsustainable financial situation of the budgetary colleges. MESTA founder-president Sanjay Tayde-Patil said that pending RTE payments and refusal of a general category of parents had put them in a tight spot. “How our schools will thrive if anything like this happens. The government must intervene immediately, and help out budget schools, “Tayde-Patil said.

Parents with fake RTE dismissal documents

By making it clear to the state government that parents who forge documents to secure free RTE admissions will face prosecution, some have discreetly begun withdrawal. The first to report that parents will have to give an undertaking to complete admission formalities that all documents are genuine, and otherwise they will face criminal charges.

Now local authorities are telling some parents to come forward and withdraw admissions and thus escape prosecution. Others, who have not come forward, may simply not show up for admissions that will eventually lead to cancellations.

Nagpur:- The school time for children is fraught with toxic air, a new scientific study is revealing. Under its Schools for Clean Air Project, Clean Air Asia, an international non-governmental organization, has been tracking air quality in two urban schools for over a year to research the effect air pollution has on children.

The research brought to the forefront that when children are outside exposed to an air quality index of as high as over 300, there are days. It further stressed that children are a vulnerable group because of the high dose of air pollution per lung surface area.

“Kids breathe faster when playing and doing other physical activities, and take in more oxygen and contaminants. Not just respiratory problems, air pollution has also been found to affect schoolchildren’s cognitive development, “it added.

Air quality sensors were installed in the campuses of Modern School, Koradi Road and St Ursula Girls High School in Civil Lines to monitor and analyze ambient air quality within the school environment. Outdoor areas such as playgrounds, main gate and car park were described as the ideal locations for installing the sensors.

Modern School had three sensors installed in its premises with two major coal-fired power plants in its vicinity (Koradi and Khaparkheda Thermal Power Stations). According to a study conducted as part of the study, 85 % of students agreed to experience air pollution near the school. Most have attributed high pollution levels to power plants.

The 16-month air quality data shows the school premises have the highest concentration of deadly contaminants particulate matter 10 and 2.5 between 7 am and 9 am. Apart from that, air quality in winter months  from November to February  is significantly poor.

While the study ascribes vehicle emissions to the sudden rise in contaminants during the morning hours, the temperature inversion is responsible for the degradation of air quality in winters. “The increased burning of biomass in this season is also leading to bad air,” the study stated.

Air quality was found to be lower at St Ursula School, which is situated in a congested area relative to that of Modern School. The park is close to the road and it can be linked to traffic as causing air pollution. Continuous pollutant accumulation in the school’s breathable space is making the air quality low, “the study concluded.

The study recommends vehicle maintenance, use of public transportation and use of non-motorized transportation to improve the air quality. “Ignorance is synonymous with air pollution, and children are sent out to play,” said Prarthana Borah, Clean Air Asia’s India manager.

नागपुर:- राष्ट्रसंत तुकड़ोजी महाराज नागपुर विश्वविद्यालय के पोस्ट ग्रेजुएट प्रवेश के समान,  कॉलेजों में भी डिग्री हेतु प्रवेश ऑनलाइन ही स्वीकार करने का निर्णय लिया जाएगा। कोरोना के बढ़ते प्रकोप को देखते हुए यह निर्णय लिया गया। विश्वविद्यालय ने ऑनलाइन प्रवेश के लिए विशेष रूप से एक खाका भी विकसित किया है।

विश्वविद्यालय के विभिन्न विभागों में प्रवेश हर साल ऑनलाइन आयोजित किए जाते हैं। इसके लिए विश्वविद्यालय स्तर पर एक समिति बनाई जाती है। विश्वविद्यालय से 504 कॉलेज संबद्ध हैं। इसमें विभिन्न शाखाएँ और पाठ्यक्रम शामिल हैं। पिछले दो वर्षों में विश्वविद्यालय से डिग्री पाठ्यक्रमों के ऑनलाइन प्रवेश पर बहुत चर्चाए हुई है। हालांकि, उस समय कॉलेजों के विरोध और अन्य विषयों के कारण, प्रक्रिया मे ठहराव आया था।

इस बीच, अब प्रभारी प्र-कुलपति डॉ एस आर चौधरी ने इस संबंध में एक योजना तैयार की है। हालांकि, प्रबंधन और अकादमिक परिषद की अनुमति से निर्णय लिया जाना बाकी है। हालांकि, यदि ऑनलाइन प्रवेश प्रक्रिया लागू की जाती है, तो कम कर्मचारियों का उपयोग करना संभव होगा।‌‌

ऐसी होगी प्रक्रिया: बारहवीं कक्षा के नतीजे घोषित होते ही डिग्री प्रवेश शुरू हो जाते हैं। इसके लिए छात्रों को विश्वविद्यालय के पोर्टल पर पंजीकरण कराना होगा। पखवाड़े तक पंजीकरण कर सकते हैं। छात्रों को पंजीकरण करते समय सभी आवश्यक दस्तावेज अपलोड करने होंगे। पंजीकरण के बाद छात्रों को एक पंजीकरण संख्या प्राप्त होगी। पंजीकरण के दो दिन बाद गुणवत्ता सूची प्रकाशित की जाएगी।

इस सूची के अनुसार, छात्रों को प्रत्येक कॉलेज में प्रवेश लेना होगा। उससे पहले, कॉलेज में छात्रों को सीधे और ऑनलाइन दोनो पद्धति से दस्तावेजों की जांच करानी होगी। जांच करने पर, छात्र के प्रवेश की पुष्टि की जाएगी और उसे प्रवेश दिया जाएगा। इसके लिए विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा राउंड सिस्टम भी लागू किया जाएगा।

यह होगा फायदा: विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा लागू ऑनलाइन प्रवेश प्रक्रिया बहुतायत मे समय बचाएगी और कम श्रमशक्ति का उपयोग करेगी। इसके अलावा, विश्वविद्यालय को प्रवेश के लाइव अपडेट प्राप्त होंगे।

नागपूर:- कोरोनाच्या प्रभावानंतर सरकारने महाविद्यालयांच्या परीक्षा रद्द केल्या एवढेच नाही तर, 10 वी व 12 परिक्षांचे निकाल देखील प्रलंबित ठेवण्यात आले आहेत. विविध अभ्यासक्रमांमध्ये प्रवेश घेणार्‍या विद्यार्थ्यांना अद्याप प्रवेश परीक्षेबाबतितही संभ्रम आहे. रा.तु.म. नागपूर विद्यापीठात नागपूर आणि गोंडवाना विद्यापीठ आहे.

नागपूर विद्यापीठात नियमित विद्यार्थ्यांची संख्या 62500 पेक्षा जास्त आहे. त्याचबरोबर खासगी विद्यार्थ्यांची संख्या 8000 पेक्षा जास्त आहे. त्याचप्रमाणे गोंडवाना विद्यापीठात 17500 नियमित विद्यार्थी आणि 4750 खासगी विद्यार्थी आहेत. अंतिम वर्षाच्या परीक्षेबाबत सोशल मीडियावर विविध प्रकारच्या चर्चेमुळे विद्यार्थ्यांसह पालकांमध्येही संभ्रमाची परिस्थिती निर्माण झाली आहे. ऑनलाईन परीक्षा पद्धत ग्रामीण भागासाठी शक्य नाही. यामुळे सोशल डिस्टंसींग चा नियम मोडेल.
