आयुक्त मुंढे ठरले राजकारणाचे बळी: आपचे बदलीविरोधात आंदोलन

नागपूर:- शहरात साफसफाई ते कोरोना साथीशी निगडीत कामे उत्तमपणे करणे, तसेच आर्थिक क्षमतेसह शिस्तीचा विकास करण्यापर्यंत आयुक्त मुंढे यांनी प्रयत्न केले, परंतु विरोधी पक्ष, नगरसेवक, आमदार, मनपाच्या सत्तापक्षाच्या राजकारणामुळे त्यांची बदली झाली आहे. असा आरोपी आम आदमी पक्षाने काल केला.

संविधान चौकात गुरुवारी झालेल्या बदलीविरोधात प्रदर्शन विदर्भ राज्य समितीचे सदस्य संयोजक देवेंद्र वानखेडे यांचे नेतृत्वात झाले. मुख्यमंत्री उद्धव ठाकरे यांनी त्वरित बदली रद्द करण्याची मागणी करत आंदोलकांचा असा विश्वास आहे की ब-याच दिवसानंतर या शहराला कर्तव्यनिष्ठ आणि प्रामाणिक अधिकारी सापडला. पण इथल्या राजकीय लोकांना असा अधिकारी पसंत पडला नाही.

षडयंत्र रचल्याचा आरोप:

आंदोलकांनी सांगितले की, मुंढे यांची बदली रद्द करण्यासाठी मुख्यमंत्री उद्धव ठाकरे यांना निवेदनही पाठविण्यात आले आहे. या निवेदनात ते म्हणाले की सत्ताधारी पक्षाने आणि मनपाच्या विरोधकांनी आयुक्तांविरूद्ध कट रचले आणि त्यांना त्रास दिला. शहराला एक प्रामाणिक आयएएस अधिकारी मिळाला. ज्यामुळे स्वच्छता बाबी व कोरोनावर नियंत्रण मिळविण्यात बरेच यश मिळाले. शहरास स्मार्ट सिटीमध्ये बदलण्यासाठी तत्सम अधिका-याचीच गरज आहे. मनपा रुग्णालयांचे नूतनीकरण, गटारे स्वच्छ करणे, भ्रष्टाचार कमी करणे, आर्थिक शिस्त लादणे आणि मनपाचे उत्पन्न वाढविणे यासाठी मुंढे यांच्यासारख्या आयुक्तांची गरज आहे.

अन्यथा रस्त्यावर मोठ्या प्रमाणात निदर्शनं:

Mundhe ‘s lack of realistic approach won 15 transfers in 15 years

His batchmates described Mundhe as the most truthful and upright officer, but the realistic approach was lacking.

“We have always advised him during our conversation with him not to stick out too long on other topics. He has not listened to our advice and now he is paying the price. We live in a democratic set-up, so we can not neglect elected officials. Transfer is part of the Indian bureaucracy but 15 transfers seem poor in 15 years of service,’ one of them said.

नागरिकांची ऑक्सीजन पातळी तपासणी: २८ ठिकाणी तपासणी केंद्रे

नागपूर:- कोरोनाशी लढा देताना मनपासह संपूर्ण आरोग्य विभाग व्यस्त आहे, त्यातच आता पोलिस ठाण्यांमधूनही लोकांच्या ऑक्सिजन पातळीची तपासणी करण्याचा निर्णय घेण्यात आला आहे. गुरुवारी विभागीय आयुक्त संजीव कुमार, सीपी भूषणकुमार उपाध्याय, जिल्हा दंडाधिकारी रवींद्र ठाकरे, अति. आयुक्त जलज शर्मा यांच्या संयुक्त बैठकीत हा निर्णय घेण्यात आला.

कोरोनाचे सतत वाढणारे दुष्परिणाम रोखण्यासाठी ज्येष्ठ नागरिकांची ऑक्सिजन पातळी, विशेषत: साखर, बीपी आणि इतर आजारांनी ग्रस्त असणा-यांची मनपा आणि पोलिस विभाग संयुक्तपणे तपासणी करेल. शुक्रवारी सकाळी 10.30 वाजता स्थानिक नगरसेवक व पोलिस निरीक्षक यांच्या उपस्थितीत शहरातील 28 पोलिस ठाण्यांमध्ये याची सुरूवात होईल. ज्यामध्ये काही स्वयंसेवी संस्था देखील सहभागी होतील.

मृत्यूचे आकडे कमी होऊ शकतात: चर्चेवेळी असे सांगितले गेले की शहरात कोरोनाचा संसर्ग सतत वाढत आहे. मृत्यूची संख्याही वाढत आहे. कोरोना रूग्णांमध्ये जेव्हा ऑक्सिजनचे प्रमाण कमी होते तेव्हा रुग्णांचे आरोग्य अधिक खराब होते. भविष्यासाठी धोका निर्माण होतो. त्यामुळे रुग्णांच्या ऑक्सिजन पातळीची तपासणी केली जाईल.

या अभियानामधे मनपाचे कर्मचारी, स्वयंसेवी संस्था यांचे प्रतिनिधीदेखील पोलिसांसह लोकांच्या घरी जाऊन चौकशी करतील. नगरसेवकांच्या सहकार्याची अपेक्षा करीत महापौर संदीप जोशी म्हणाले की, प्राणवायूच्या पातळीचे परीक्षण केल्यास मृत्यूची संख्या कमी करण्यात यश मिळू शकते. लोकांना जवळच्या पोलिस ठाण्यात जाऊन तपासणी करण्याचे आवाहनही त्यांनी यावेळी केले.

Including Covid-19 as top priority: New civic leader

Nagpur:- IAS officer Radhakrishnan B, who on Friday would take over as the new municipal commissioner, said it had Covid-19 at the top of its priority list. A host of challenges present the new civic chief; unfinished schemes, poor roads, a lack of funds, weak account management, besides spiraling Covid-19.

“With news of an increase in Covid-19 cases in Nagpur, my first priority will be to supervise infection control management and planning,” Radhakrishnan told. After taking over as the civic chief he can focus on other tasks once he gets to know the situation.

“I ‘m going to evaluate the situation, and work accordingly,” he said. Radhakrishnan also convoked a meeting of all department heads on Friday at 9.45 am. Radhakrishnan had been called Wednesday to succeed Tukaram Mundhe. The grapevine has it that, at the insistence of city MP Nitin Gadkari and NCP chief Sharad Pawar, Mundhe was moved.

Work to upgrade Amt-Chikhli road to restart in November

Nagpur:- Work will commence again from November on upgrading the Amravati-Akola-Chikhli highway, which has been stalled for two years. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has awarded the tenders and expects the contractors to close the project financially. The stretch is about 195 km, and the cost is about 2,430 crore Rs.

Currently, the Akola-Amravati road condition is very poor. Accidents also happen and over the last two years, many lives have been lost. According to Ashok Dalmia, National Secretary of All India Traders Confederation (CAIT), the traffic on the road is very heavy as both cities have a population of over a million. He’s requested that NHAI patch the potholes on the road immediately.

In 2017 the work of Amravati-Chikhli highway was awarded to Leasing Infrastructure & Financial Services (IL&FS). In July 2018, the company ran into financial difficulties and stopped operating. His contract was rescinded in August 2019 following multiple show-cause notices.

NHAI then renewed the work in November 2019 and signed a letter of agreement in February 2020. The final treaty was signed in July. Three selected firms have applied for bank loans, and work will begin as soon as they are approved. They were given five months as per NHAI norms for financial closure.

JEE/NEET: Divided coaching fraternity

Nagpur:- Not all coaching classes in September are in support of JEE / NEET, citing risks to candidate lakhs. He said the economic aspect comes into play on why most coaching institutes disagree with that stand. “Not that this is a negative thing, since we are all reliant on the fee that the students pay. No new admissions will be confirmed until parents see that things are going forward.

काल मुंढे स्वत: कोरोना अहवालात पॉझिटिव असल्याचे निष्पन्न झाले होते व पुढील 14 दिवस होम काॅरंटाइन राहून आपले कार्य करण्यावर त्यांनी भर दिला होता. याच पार्श्वभूमीवर आता बदली मुळे त्यांचे पुढचे पाऊल काय असणार याकडे सर्वांचे लक्ष लागून आहे

शहरातील सर्व सिनेमागृह चालू करण्याची व्यवस्थापक व संचालकांची मागणी

नागपूर:- कोरोना प्रसार रोखथामासाठी लादलेला लॉकडाऊन दोनच महिन्यात अनलॉकमध्ये बदलला गेला बरेच उद्योगधंदे व सार्वजनिक स्थळांना मोकळीकही दिली गेलीय परंतु सिनेमागृह अद्याप बंद आहेत, सर्व सिनेमागृह चालकांची, कर्मचा-यांची दैनावस्था तब्बल सहा महिने उलटूनही अद्याप संपलेली नाही. यामुळे शहरातील सिनेमागृह संचालकांनी सिनेमागृह उघडण्यास प्रशासनाने परवानगी द्यावी हि मागणी लावून धरली आहे.

सर्वच सार्वजनिक उपक्रम जवळपास मोकळे केले गेलेले आहेत. प्रवास व परिवहन व्यवस्थाही सोशल डिस्टेंसींग पाळत सुरू आहे, अशात सिनेमागृहांतच गर्दि होईल हा समज दूर सारणे गरजेचे आहे, गर्दिस आवर घालण्यास सोशल डिस्टेंस काटेकोरपणे थेटरलाच शक्य आहे, प्रत्येक सिनेमागृहांना प्रशस्त आवार आहेत, दोन ते तीन खुर्च्यांआड प्रेक्षक बसवण्याची सोय येथे शक्य आहे.

दारातच येणा-याचे सॅनिटाईजेशन सहज आहे, मधल्या काळात हॉल सॅनिटाईजेशन तत्व राबविले जाईल, पार्किंग प्रशस्त आहे, ऑनलाईन तिकीट बुकिंगने सुरूवातीची गर्दीही होणार नाही. ईत्यादी सर्व उपाय योजना करण्यास तयार सज्ज असुनही थेटरच्या सुरू होण्याबाबत प्रशासन दुर्लक्ष करित आहे.

सिनेमागृहावर अवलंबित असणारे चालक, कर्मचारी रोजगाराच्या संधीस मुकत आहेत, त्यांचे परिवाराची आबाळ होत आहे, या बाबीकडेही व्यवस्थापकांचे शिष्टमंडळाने लक्ष वेधून दिले. व लवकरात लवकर शहरातील सर्व सिनेमागृह चालू करावी अशी यावेळी विनंती केली.

HCL Jobs: IT Services Major to conduct Virtual Recruitment Drive in Nagpur on 29 and 30 August

On Tuesday, IT services giant HCL Technologies said it would conduct a virtual mega recruitment drive in Nagpur on 29 and 30 August.

“This year, at HCL Technologies campus in MIHAN, Nagpur, we are providing over 800 job opportunities for skilled professionals. It would be a great opportunity for working professionals with the required skills and experience to apply for the virtual mega recruitment push,” HCL Technologies said in a statement.

The program also seeks to invite those from Nagpur who work elsewhere to return to their hometown and continue their HCL Technologies career, it added.

Candidates for this recruitment drive will need to apply online. Once applications are received, HCL’s recruitment team will review the profiles and eligible candidates will be provided with details of a virtual drive session to be held on 29 and 30 August, the statement said.

Raunak bullets to Magnus proportions and becomes Indian first to book KO berth

Nagpur:- A month after clinching gold at an Arena 1196-player game, Raunak Sadhwani became the first Indian to qualify for a possible face-off with world champion Magnus Carlsen. One of 2495 masters in the Katara Online International Arena Chess tourney vying for a top-five spot, the city’s only Grandmaster (GM) blazed through to Monday’s knockout stage.

The 15-year-old played 52 games with an output rating of 2906 in the first leg of a 90-minute bullet blitz, to end the joint third, earning 109 points. Raunak has earned a place in the 16-player knockout round in an event to be played in three legs, where Magnus Carlsen is awaiting the 15 qualifiers. The “super excited” city boy said, “I got pumped up when I came to know that Magnus is being seeded for the finals. Magnus inspired me in away.”

Raunak, who is the ninth youngest in the world and 65th Grandmaster of India, finished behind Super GMs, including Armenia’s 2630 Elo Haik Martirosyan, US Andrew Tang (2538), and Russian David Paravyan, 2653. Raunak and Paravyan have tied for third place at 109 points.

Explaining how he achieved the result in a strong field, Raunak said, “Without worrying about the results, I kept playing well, enjoying the tournament. I knew there were three chances of qualifying but chose to forget about them and find the first as the final.” He added, “I firmly believe in positive self-talking and did the same before the event began.”

The 16-player Bullet Finals will be played on Wednesday, with Raunak and other players playing 12 games each to book a berth for the semifinals. The remaining two qualifying tournaments are being played later in the evening. Ten more players from each of those tournaments will qualify for the finals.
