Nagpur:- All three regional transport offices (RTOs) have resumed Monday’s learner’s and permanent driving license tests after three months of lockdown. During the lockdown time the deputy RTO (East) and rural office had their new offices built. Now, from their new premises in Chikhli (in East Nagpur), and near Nagpur rural police headquarters in North Nagpur, both offices have begun functioning.

Maharashtra Regional Transport Office (RTO) has resumed vehicle registration and issuance of driving licences. On June 16, the commissioner for transport had issued a circular to resume operations across its 50 state offices. The city offices subsequently restored services including insurance, secondary insurance, car registration and Monday shift.

After the nationwide lockdown was announced in March this year, the department had temporarily shut down operations and resumed operations after nearly three months of inactivity. Visited the offices and found the departments, especially the city office, strictly following the guidelines of Covid-19.

Deputy RTO Atul Ade said the applicants have rescheduled the office ‘s earlier slot bookings. We have told all the applicants via SMS, he said. The three departments have set the quotas for each position according to the number of available officers and employees.

Candidates without masks and hand gloves were not permitted to appear for the student license examinations, although officials of the transport department ensured that the vehicle was sanitized before the examination for the PDL exam.

The three offices focused primarily on the student licensing exam to ensure coronavirus non-spreading. In addition to reducing the LL test limits, the department has also modified the seating arrangements and held at least one or two seats between two candidates vacant.

While the RTOs have reduced the test limits, there was poor visitor turnout. The Department issued 20 driving license renewal applications at the city hall, 37 appeared for LL testing, while eight appeared for permanent driving testing. The low turnout at the deputy RTO East office was also observed as it performed LL and DL checks for 55 and 15 applicants, respectively. Deputy RTO Vinod Jadhav said the office also handled 80 different works related to non-transport, vehicle transportation and 35 license renewal.

ARTO Sneha Medhe from rural office said that only 7 and 65 applicants appeared for the tests against appointments of 11 and 109 slots for LL and PDL, respectively. The office will deploy new slots of 60 for LL and 80 for DL from Thursday onwards, the ARTO said.

भारतीय व्यापारी संघटनांच्या संघराज्य संघाने तीन चिनी कंपन्यांसह गुंतवणूक कर रद्द करावा अशी मागणी महाराष्ट्र सरकारकडे केली आहे. या संदर्भात कॅटने मुख्यमंत्री उद्धव ठाकरे यांना पत्र लिहिले आहे. लडाखच्या गालवान घाटी भारतीय आणि चिनी सैनिक यांच्यात झालेल्या संघर्षानंतर कॅट यांनी ही मागणी केली. महाराष्ट्र सरकारने या आठवड्यात चिनी कंपन्यांशी करार केले आहेत.

मुख्यमंत्र्यांना लिहिलेल्या पत्रात कॅट यांनी म्हटले आहे की, महाराष्ट्र सरकारने चीनच्या विरोधात असलेल्या रागाचा आणि रागाच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर तीन चिनी कंपन्यांशी नुकताच केलेला करार त्वरित रद्द करावा. कॅट म्हणाले की, राष्ट्रीय सरचिटणीस प्रवीण खंडेलवाल म्हणाले की, जेव्हा संपूर्ण देश चीनविरूद्ध उठला आहे, तेव्हा चिनी कंपन्यांशी तडजोड करणारे महाराष्ट्र सरकार बाळासाहेब ठाकरे यांच्या जीवनदृष्टी आणि तत्त्वज्ञानाच्या विरोधात आहे. दरम्यान, कॉंग्रेसचे प्रवक्ते मनीष तिवारी यांनी उद्धव ठाकरे यांना चिनी ऑटो कंपनीबरोबरचा करार रद्द करण्याचे आवाहन केले आहे. तिवारी यांनी ट्विट केले की मुख्यमंत्री, हा करार संपुष्टात आला पाहिजे.

नागपूर:- आंतरराष्ट्रीय योग दिनी रविवारी राज्यसभा खासदार पद्मश्री डॉ विकास महात्मे यांनी घरी योग केला. डॉ. महात्मे यांनी सूर्यनमस्कार, प्राणायाम आसन केले. त्यांनी प्रत्येकाला नियमितपणे योग करण्याचे आवाहन केले.

ते म्हणाले की योग हे मुळात भारताचे कार्य आहे आणि योग ला पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदींनी जागतिक सन्मान देऊन कौतुकास्पद काम केले. योग दिवस 200 हून अधिक देशांमध्ये साजरा केला जातो, याचा अर्थ असा आहे की भारत देखील बर्‍याच देशांतून आपल्या वारसाद्वारे जिव्हाळ्याचे संवाद तयार करतो.

 

Nagpur:- Consumers are widespread unhappy about high-power bills issued this month by state-run discontent  MSEDCL. Most consumers feel they are overloaded by the company. MSEDCL officials have clarified that the high amount was due to average billing over the past 2-3 months and now billing is being done for that period based on actual consumption.

An official from MSEDCL official told that meter reading was stopped in early March and only average bills were issued. “We started reading again in June and are sending out bills based on actual consumption now. This is the reason for consumers feeling that they are being cheated.”

Based on average consumption in December 2019, January, and February, average bills were issued in March, April, and May according to the official. “The consumption during winter months is low because people don’t use ceiling fans, air coolers, and air-conditioners. In summer, these appliances are used and hence the power consumption shoots up,” he said.

To give an example, the official said, “Tell your consumption was 100 units in December, 90 units in January and 110 units in February. In those three months, your average consumption was 100 units. The bill was released for March, April, and May assuming your monthly consumption is 100 units. Your consumption in March, however, was in fact say 200 units, 300 units in April and 400 units in May. So, in those three months, you’ve consumed 900 units while paying the bill for only 300 units. Now, you will have to pay the bill for the extra 600 units.”
The official assured the consumers had been given the slab benefit.

“During these three months the 900 units consumed were divided by three, and we calculated that your monthly consumption was 300 units. Even though you consumed 400 units in May and would have been charged at a higher rate for units consumed in excess of 300 units, you will get an average benefit and pay a total lower amount, “he said adding that the current bill had adjusted the average bill amount paid by consumers.
The official acknowledged that it was difficult for the customers to pay the extra bill for three months at one go.

“However, they are also to blame. Only 3.6 lakh consumers took their readings and paid the actual bills through our mobile apps. If every customer had done that, we wouldn’t have faced the cash flow dilemma and their bill would have spread, “he said. However, I learned that many consumers did not receive MSEDCL SMS to submit a meter reading and they were asked to do so ‘after receiving SMS’ when they tried to do it through the mobile app.

नागपूर:- रुग्णालयात कोरोना पॉझिटिव्ह रूग्ण ठेवण्यासाठीचा कालावधी कमी झाला असला तरी संशयितांना विलगीकरण केंद्रामध्ये अद्याप 14 दिवस मुक्काम करावा लागणार आहे. सध्या 2500 कोरोना संशयितांना विलगीकरण केंद्रामध्ये ठेवले गेलेले आहे. कोरोना संशयित व्यक्तींच्या विलगीकरण केंद्रावर दोन चाचण्या घेण्यात येतात. पहिली चाचणी निगेटिव आल्यानंतरही दुसरी चाचणी केली जाते. ती सुद्धा निगेटिव आल्यावरच संबंधितास घरी पाठविले जाते. दोन चाचण्या करण्यासाठी आणि अहवाल देण्यासाठी 14 दिवस लागतात. जर चाचणी पॉजिटिव्ह असेल तर ती थेट रुग्णालयात पाठविली जाते. त्यानंतर रुग्णालयातही चाचणी घेतली जाते आणि 10 दिवस ठेवल्यानंतर रुग्णालयातून सोडण्यात येते. आधी 15 दिवस रुग्णालयात ठेवले जायचे.

विलगीकरण केंद्र कुठे?

कोरोना संशयितांना आमदार निवास, वनामती, रवि भवन, लॉ कॉलेज हॉस्टेल, सिम्बायोसिस, पाचपावली, व्हीएनआयटी याखेरीज 3 हॉटेलमध्येही विलग ठेवण्यात आले आहे. उपविभागीय अधिका-यांनुसार, दोन चाचण्या घेतल्या जातात आणि त्यात 14 दिवसांपर्यंत वेळ जातो. मिळालेल्या मार्गदर्शक सूचनांनुसारच काम केले जात आहे. आम्हाला कालावधी कमी असलेल्या नवीन मार्गदर्शक सूचना अद्याप मिळायच्या आहेत.

मुंबई: कोरोना संकटामुळे मुख्यमंत्री उद्धव ठाकरे यांनी यंदा गणेशोत्सव साधेपणाने साजरा करण्याचे आवाहन केले आहे. ते म्हणाले की, गणेशोत्सव साजरा करण्याची व्याप्तीसुद्धा आपणच ठरवायला हवी. ऑगस्ट महिन्यात होणा-या गणेशोत्सवाच्या दृष्टीने कायदा व सुव्यवस्थेबाबत मंत्रालयात बैठक झाली. बैठकीला उपमुख्यमंत्री अजित पवार, गृहमंत्री अनिल देशमुख, गृहमंत्री सतेज पाटील आणि गृह राज्यमंत्री शंभूराज देसाई यांच्यासह पोलिस आणि प्रशासनाचे अधिकारी उपस्थित होते.

मुख्यमंत्री म्हणाले की कोरोनाची परिस्थिती लक्षात घेता राज्यात सामाजिक जागरूकता व सामाजिक उपयोगिता कार्यक्रम आयोजित करुन गणेशोत्सव साधेपणाने साजरा करावा. जेणेकरून जगासमोर नवा आदर्श निर्माण होऊ शकेल. प्रत्येक पाऊल काळजीपूर्वक घेतले जात आहे. त्यामुळे गणेशोत्सवही एका सिमेत साजरा करावा लागणार आहे.

कोरोनाचा धोका अद्याप टळलेला नाही. गर्दी केल्या जाऊ शकत नाही. मिरवणूक काढता येत नाही. सर्व प्रकारच्या खबरदारी घेणे जरूरी आहे. कोणतीही परंपरा न मोडता बदलासह राबवीली जाऊ शकते. पुण्यासह अनेक गणेश मंडळांनी कोरोनामुळे गणेशोत्सव अत्यंत साधेपणाने साजरा करण्याचा निर्णय घेतला आहे.लसरकारच्या निर्णयाला गणेश मंडळांनी पाठिंबा दर्शविला आहे. याबद्दल सर्व गणेश मंडळांचे आभार, शिर्डी संस्था, सिद्धी विनायक ट्रस्ट यांचेसह अनेक मंडळांनी मुख्यमंत्री मदत निधीसाठी मदत केल्याबद्दल उद्धव यांनी आभार मानले.

नागपुर:- राज्य में तालाबंदी हटाकर मुख्यमंत्री ने स्कूल और कॉलेज शुरू करने का फैसला लिया। तदनुसार, राष्ट्रसंत तुकडोजी महाराज नागपुर विश्वविद्यालय ने कॉलेजों को 15% उपस्थिति के साथ कॉलेज शुरू करने के लिए एक पत्र भेजा। परिणामस्वरूप, एकदिन के दौरान कई कॉलेजों के कर्मचारी आ रहे हैं।

कोरोना संकट से राज्य और देश भर में दो महीने का लॉकडाउन था। राज्य सरकार राज्य के आर्थिक, औद्योगिक और शैक्षिक घाटे के पुनर्वास के लिए प्रयास कर रही है। इसीलिए ‘मिशन स्टार्ट अगेन’ के तहत राज्य के अधिकांश शहरों में तालाबंदी में ढील दी गई है। यह भी स्पष्ट किया है कि 15 प्रतिशत कर्मचारी सरकारी के साथ-साथ निजी कार्यालयों, विश्वविद्यालयों और कॉलेजों में भी मौजूद होने चाहिए। लेकिन फिर भी, यह देखा गया है कि कई विश्वविद्यालयों और कॉलेजों में, कर्मचारी मौजूद नहीं हैं।

राज्य सरकार ने भी सीमित कर्मचारियों की उपस्थिति में सरकारी काम फिर से शुरू करने का निर्णय लिया है और सप्ताह में कम से कम एक दिन कार्यालय में उपस्थित होना अनिवार्य कर दिया है। तदनुसार, उच्च शिक्षा नागपुर डिवीजन के संयुक्त निदेशक डॉ। महेशकुमार सालुंखे ने नागपुर महाविद्यालय, गोंडवाना विश्वविद्यालय और संबद्ध कॉलेजों को पत्र भेजे हैं।

इसके अनुसार, यदि कोई सरकारी कर्मचारी निर्धारित दिन काम पर नहीं आता है, तो वह एक सप्ताह के लिए अनुपस्थित रहेगा और इसे अवैतनिक अवकाश माना जाएगा। इसलिए इन दिनों कर्मचारियों को उनका वेतन नहीं मिलेगा। यह निर्देश दिया गया है कि सरकारी कर्मचारियों को सरकारी काम के प्रति वफादार होना चाहिए और कार्यालय में काम कर्मचारियों के बीच समान रूप से वितरित किया जाना चाहिए। सप्ताह में एक दिन नहीं आने वाले कर्मचारियों का पूरे सप्ताह के लिए वेतन काट दिया जाएगा।‌‌
