Central Railway engineer made a robot to help the doctors fight the Covid 19.

Nagpur: In order to ensure the health of doctors and nurses when treating Covid-19 patients, a mechanical engineer from Nagpur, now part of the Solapur division of the Central Railway, has created a cost-effective robot that minimizes direct exposure to patients.
The robot, produced in-house for Rs 47,000, was brought into service at Dr Kotnis Railway Hospital in Solapur on Wednesday. Railway Minister Piyush Goyal praised the efforts of the Divisional Mechanical Engineer (DME) Suryakant Bhimrao Munjewar (30), who created the robot.

“There is a great need among all physicians and nurses fighting the coronavirus war to avoid direct contact with patients. In view of this, DRM Shailesh Gupta has inspired me to create this robot, “said Munjewar.

It’s very tough for Don PPE to be on call for six hours. It’s like wearing a raincoat in the summer. Munjewar told the robot worked within a range of 30 meters and minimized interaction by providing the required equipment such as hand sanitizers, medications, towels, fruit, etc. to patients. It can hold up to 7.5kgs of content.

“It’s got a one and a half day battery backup. A two-way video communication channel is available to allow physicians to interact directly with patients. The doctor should ask what the patient wants, “Munjewar said.

“Through this robot, doctors can pay full attention to patients. When a doctor outside the hospital has to be contacted, there is a video contact system, “he said.

Special care has been taken to ensure that no torque imbalance exists as the robot moves. The chamber was taken care of so that the robot remained stable.

Aluminium is used for the frame, which makes it lightweight. It ensures that the centre of gravity stays fixed at a single stage so that there is no possibility of moving the load anywhere, ensuring rigidity and stability. It proves to be a competent warrior in the fight against coronavirus. This is also sanitized by spraying liquid that has no water content.

DRM Gupta told TOI, “The robot has been helping doctors and nurses a lot in reducing interaction with Covid-19 patients. We’re planning to add two more features including pulse meter and BP calculation to make it more efficient. “Dr Anand Kamble, Chief Medical Superintendent (CMS), Solapur, is also pleased with the robot service. The robot concept was taken from a remote-operated trolley in the Asansol division of the Eastern Railway. Munjewar and his team, consisting of Viswanath Watkar, Shradha Kulkarni, Shrikant Kulkarni, Chandan Mane and Yogesh Watkar, worked 15-18 hours a day to create a robot in four days. The engineer developed a computer script and used Bluetooth to run it on a mobile device.

After the Solapur division successfully commissioned the device, it was requested by other divisions and physicians. Earlier, Munjewar had designed an automatic sanding machine used by loco pilots on slippery spots. This was the first breakthrough across the rail network

नागपुर में कोरोना संक्रमितों का आंकड़ा बढ़कर हुआ 200 पार

नागपुर:- जहां राज्य में लगातार कोरोना संक्रमण के नए मामले सामने आने का सिलसिला खत्म नहीं हो रहा है वहीं नागपुर में भी बीते कई दिनों से संक्रमण के अनेकों मामले सामने आए है।इसी की कड़ी में बुधवार को 44 नए कोरोना पॉजिटिव मामले सामने आए। बताया जा रहा है के ये जिन 44 लोगों की रिपोर्ट पॉजिटिव अाई है वे सभी शहर के कोरोना हॉटस्पॉट से है।और कई दिनों से क्वारंटाइन में थे।

एनएमसी ने पिछले कई दिनों से सतारांजीपुरा और मोमिनपुरा के कई व्यक्तियों को क्वारंटाइन में रखा हुआ है । दूसरी ओर पार्वती नगर के 22 वर्षीय युवक की मृत्यु बताई जारी है उसका कोरोना टेस्ट पॉजिटिव था ।इस युवक के संपर्क में या इस युवक के किसी रिश्तेदार के संपर्क में एक पुलिस ऑफिसर भी आए थे जिसे बुधवार को होम क्वारंटाइन किया गया ।

फिलहाल नागपुर में कोरोना संक्रमितों का आंकड़ा बढ़कर  200 के पार पहुंच गया है। अब इस स्तिथि में प्रशासन को और भी सक्रिय होने की जरूरत है।

Increasing COVID 19 cases which add pressure on health professionals

The current spread of the fatal virus known as COVID 19 seems to prove bad in town. We see the number of successful cases in the town increasing every other day. The current figure in Nagpur has reached 169 with seven more cases added yesterday bringing the toll to an incredible amount.

This has put more strain on the health machinery as the NMC made a few quarantine spaces in town. The number of people suffering is immense and the spread of the virus is not under control.

As mentioned, there are around 1700 swabs that the medical teams in the city have collected so far and these have been sent out to various laboratories in Nagpur. The numbers are getting bigger and the results are coming late. All thanks to the long queue at the city’s molecular laboratories that generated and added pressure from one day to the next taking a lot of pressure from the healthcare professionals.

At this point, the present days are going bad and critical for the healthcare professionals who are busy fighting the city’s virus battle. Government bodies are seen to prevent further spread of the virus, and fortunately, the city has a number of more cases to record as per the containment zone. There are also several other positive factors that have been found in the individuals that have proved positive things.

विलगीकरणातील लोकांची मनपा घेतेय आस्थेने काळजी

कोविड-१९चा संसर्ग रोखण्यासाठी व वेळेत उपचार मिळावे यासाठी मनपातर्फे ‘हाय रिस्क कॉन्टॅक्ट’मधील कोरोनाग्रस्तांचा शोध घेण्यात येतो व त्यांना मनपाच्या विलगीकरण कक्षामध्ये ठेवले जाते. शहरामध्ये आमदार निवास, वनामती, रवीभवन, सिम्बॉयसिस, व्‍हीएनआयटी वसतीगृह, पाचपावली पोलिस क्वॉर्टर, प्रोझोन चिचभवन आदी ठिकाणी सुमारे २५०० लोकांना विलगीकरण करण्यात आले आहे. मनपा आयुक्त तुकाराम मुंढे यांच्या पुढाकाराने विलगीकरणातील या नागरिकांच्या सुविधेसाठी मनपातर्फे सेवाकार्य सुरू आहे. या सर्व नागरिकांच्या आरोग्यासह त्यांची भोजन, निवास व्यवस्था व सुरक्षा या सर्वांबाबत मनपाद्वारे आस्थेने काळजी घेण्यात येत आहे.

शहरातील विविध विलगीकरण कक्षांपैकी सिम्बॉयसिस, व्‍हीएनआयटी वसतीगृह, पाचपावली पोलिस क्वॉर्टर या तीन ठिकाणी सुमारे १५०० जणांना ‘क्वारंटाईन’ करण्यात आले आहे. या सर्व ठिकाणी विलगीकरण करून ठेवलेल्या नागरिकांच्या आरोग्य तपासणीसह त्यांना दोन वेळचे भाजी, पोळी, वरण, भात असे जेवण, चहा, नाश्ता ही सर्व व्यवस्था मनपातर्फे करण्यात येत आहे.
वाठोडा येथील सिम्बॉयसिसमध्ये ४५० जणांच्या विलगीकरणाची व्यवस्था करण्यात आली आहे. या ठिकाणी मनपाची वैद्यकीय चमू आणि इतर टिम सेवा देत आहेत. ‘क्वारंटाईन’ करण्यात आलेल्या नागरिकांमध्ये बहुतांशी मुस्लीम बांधव असून त्यांच्यासाठी रमजानच्या पर्वावर दररोज शहरी आणि इफ्तारीचे स्वयंसेवी संस्थांच्या माध्यमातून आयोजन करण्यात येत आहे. या ठिकाणी मनपातर्फे भोजन व्यवस्था करण्यात येत आहे शिवाय नागरिकांसाठी बेड, चादर, उशी, पांघरून ही सर्व व्यवस्थाही मनपाने करून दिली आहे.
पाचपावली क्षेत्रामध्ये पोलिस क्वॉर्टरमध्ये सुमारे ५५० जणांना ‘क्वारंटाईन’ करण्यात आले आहे. पोलिस क्वॉर्टरमध्ये एकूण ७ विंग असून यातील प्रत्येक विंगमध्ये २७ फ्लॅट आहेत. यापैकी एक विंग वैद्यकीय चमूसाठी निर्धारित करण्यात आली आहे. या विंगमध्ये डॉक्टर, पॅरामेडिकल स्टॉफ, परिचारीका यांची निवास व्यवस्था करण्यात आली आहे. इतर विंगमध्ये निवासाला असणा-या नागरिकांना मनपातर्फे टॉवेल, बकेट, ग्लास, टूथब्रश, टूथपेस्ट, सॅनिटायजर, पाण्याची कॅन, लहान मुलांसाठी दुध या सर्व गोष्टींचा पुरवठा करण्यात येत आहे.
तर व्‍हीएनआयटीच्या चार वसतीगृहामध्ये सुमारे ६०० संशयीतांना विलगीकरणात ठेवण्यात आले आहे. या ठिकाणीही सर्व रहिवाशांना दोन वेळचे जेवण, नाश्ता, चहा तसेच आवश्यक वस्तुंचा पुरवठा करण्यात येत आहे. सर्व विलगीकरण कक्षातील नागरिकांवर वैद्यकीय पथकाद्वारे उपचार करण्यात येत असून त्यांचे कोरोना ‘स्वॅब’ घेण्यात येते. ‘स्वॅब’चा अहवाल पॉझिटिव्ह आल्यास संबंधित व्यक्तीवर इंदिरा गांधी शासकीय वैद्यकीय महाविद्यालय व रुग्णालय (मेयो) किंवा शासकीय वैद्यकीय महाविद्यालय व रुग्णालय (मेडिकल) येथे तज्ज्ञ डॉक्टरांच्या देखरेखीत उपचार केले जाते. तर अहवाल निगेटिव्ह आल्यास पुन्हा १४व्या दिवशी ‘स्वॅब’ घेण्यात येतो. तो अहवाल सुद्धा निगेटिव्ह आल्यास रुग्णाला सुट्टी देण्यात येते.
या कार्यासाठी मनपाच्या अधिका-यांसह सार्वजनिक बांधकाम विभाग व महसूल अधिका-यांचे पथक अहोरात्र कार्य करीत असून विलगीकरणातील नागरिकांची कोणत्याही प्रकारे गैरसोय होउ नये यासाठी विशेष काळजी घेतली जात आहे.

मृताचा कोरोना अहवाल येईपर्यंत संपर्क टाळा

कोरोनाचा वाढता प्रादुर्भाव रोखण्यासाठी नागरिकांनी अधिक जास्त सतर्कता आणि सावधगिरी बाळगण्याची आवश्यकता आहे. नागपूरमध्ये नुकतेच एका युवकाचा मृत्यू झाला. त्याला शासकीय वैद्यकीय महाविद्यालय व रूग्णालयात (मेडिकल) आकस्मीक विभागात भरती करण्यात आले होते. त्याचा कोरोना ‘स्वॅब’ अहवाल पॉझिटिव्ह आला. विशेष म्हणजे, त्याच्या मृत्यूनंतर कोरोनाचा अहवाल आल्याने त्या युवकाच्या संपर्कात आलेले किंवा घरी जमलेल्या नागरिकांना कोरोनाची शक्यता नाकारता येत नाही. त्यामुळे नागरिकांनी कोणत्याही व्यक्तीच्या मृत्यूनंतर त्याचा कोरोना अहवाल येईपर्यंत प्रतीक्षा करावी. कुणीही मृत व्यक्तीच्या घरी किंवा अन्य ठिकाणी संपर्क साधू नये, असे आवाहन मनपा आयुक्त तुकाराम मुंढे यांनी केले आहे.

शहरातील पार्वतीनगर, रामेश्वरी परिसरातील एका युवकाचा दि.०५/०५/२०२० मंगळवारी मृत्यू झाला. बुधवारी (ता.६) शासकीय वैद्यकीय महाविद्यालय व रूग्णालयात (मेडिकल) मधून या मृत तरुणाचा कोरोना ‘स्वॅब’चा अहवाल प्राप्त झाला. त्यात तो कोरोना पॉझिटिव्ह असल्याचे निष्पन्न झाले. त्यामुळे युवकाच्या मृत्यूनंतर त्याच्या मृतदेहावर कोविड-१९ संदर्भात मनपातर्फे जारी करण्यात आलेल्या मार्गदर्शक तत्वानुसार अंत्यसंस्कार करण्यात आले. युवकाच्या मृत्यूनंतर घरी येणा-या नागरिकांनाही कोरोना संसर्गाचा धोका निर्माण होण्याची शक्यता नाकारता येत नाही.
कोरोनाग्रस्त मृतदेहापासून होणारा संसर्ग टाळणे अत्यंत आवश्यक बाब आहे. त्यासाठी कोणत्याही कारणाने मृत्यू झालेल्या व्यक्तीचा कोरोना अहवाल येईपर्यंत मृताशी संबंधित कोणत्याही प्रकारचा संपर्क टाळावा. अहवाल निगेटिव्ह आल्यास मृतदेहाच्या अंत्यविधीबाबत नियमांचे पालन करण्यात यावे. यासाठी अंत्यविधीला कमीत-कमी लोक उपस्थित राहणे, सोशल डिस्टंसिंगचे पालन करणे, मास्क लावणे, सॅनिटायजरचा वापर करणे आदी नियमांचे पालन केले जाणे आवश्यक आहे, असेही आवाहन आयुक्त तुकाराम मुंढे यांनी केले.
मृताचा कोरोना अहवाल पॉझिटिव्ह आल्यास कोरोनाग्रस्त मृतदेहाच्या विल्हेवाटीसंदर्भात मनपातर्फे जारी करण्यात आलेल्या मार्गदर्शक तत्वांनुसार त्या मृतदेहाची विल्हेवाट लावण्यात येईल. यासंबंधी यापूर्वीच मनपा आयुक्तांनी कोरोनाग्रस्त मृतदेहाच्या विल्हेवाटीसंदर्भात मार्गदर्शक तत्वांबाबत आदेश जारी केले आहेत. या मार्गदर्शक तत्वांनुसार मृतदेहाला कुणीही स्पर्श करू नये. मृतदेहावर अंत्यविधी करताना पाच पेक्षा अधिक लोकांनी उपस्थित राहू नये. वरील दोन्ही नियमांचे काटेकोर पालन व्हावे याकरिता संबंधित रुग्णालय प्रशासनाने मृत्यूची माहिती आधी संबंधित पोलिस स्टेशनला द्यावी. अंत्यविधी करण्यात येणारे घाट किंवा स्मशानभूमीतील कर्मचा-यांनी मास्क, ग्लोव्ह आणि अन्य सुरक्षा साहित्यांचा वापर करणे अत्यावश्यक आहे.
शहरातील कोरोनाचा संसर्ग रोखण्यासाठी स्वयंसुरक्षेची काळजी घेणे आवश्यक आहे. मृतदेहाच्या विल्हेवाटी संदर्भात वरील मार्गदर्शक तत्त्वांचे पालन होणे गरजेचे आहे. याबाबत काटेकोर कार्यवाही करिता आयुक्तांतर्फे सर्व झोनचे सहाययक आयुक्त, मनपा आरोग्य विभाग तसेच इंदिरा गांधी शासकीय वैद्यकीय महाविद्यालय व रुग्णालय (मेयो) आणि शासकीय वैद्यकीय महाविद्यालय व रुग्णालय (मेडिकल) प्रशासनाला आदेश देण्यात आले आहेत.

कोरोना संक्रमण काल में,अस्थमा के मरीजों को रखना होगा विशेष ध्यान

दिन ब दिन बढ़ते कोरोना संक्रमण को देखते हुए,अस्थमा के पेशेंट्स को भी सावधानी बरतने की चेतावनी दी जा रही है।दरअसल कई डॉक्टरों का मानना है के कोरोना और अस्थमा दोनों ही बीमारी के लक्षण लगभग एक जैसे है दोनों ही इंसान के फेफड़ों को प्रभावित करते है । जिस किसी भी मरीज को अस्थमा है या उसकी इस संबंधित कोई हिस्ट्री रही है तो इस कोरोना काल में उसे अपने आपका विशेष ध्यान रखना होगा।

छाती रोग विशेषज्ञ डॉक्टर आकाश बल्कि का कहना है के कोरोना और अस्थमा दोनों में ही इंसान के लंग्स प्रभावित होते है हालाकि पूरी तरह दोनों बीमारी एक जैसी नहीं है परन्तु फिलहाल यह अस्थमा का सीजन नहीं है आम तौर पर अशुद्ध वातावरण , डस्ट या प्रदूषण और ठंड के मौसम में अस्थमा का ज्यादा प्रभाव देखने को मिलता है।लेकिन कोरोना संक्रमण के बीच अस्थमा के मरीज़ को अपना विशेष ध्यान रखना आवश्यक है।

वहीं श्वसन रोग विशेषज्ञ डॉक्टर राजेश स्वर्णकार का कहना है के इस समय अस्थमा के पेशेंट्स को अपना ख्याल रखना बहुत जरूरी है।अपने डॉक्टर से सलाह ले कर जरूरी उपचार रखना और इनहेलर को भी बंद नहीं करना चाहिए।भारत में कई ज्यादा अस्थमा के मामले आते हैं ऐसे में तुरंत महत्वपूर्ण कदम उठाना और अपना इलाज कराना जरूरी है।

श्वसन रोग विशेषज्ञ डॉक्टर अशोक अरबट का कहना है इन दोनों बीमारियों के लक्षण एक सरीखे ही हैं। दोनों बीमारियों में लंग्स में इंफेक्शन हो जाता है। ऐसे में यदि किसी को अस्थमा के लक्षण दिखाई देते हैं तो तुरंत अपने डॉक्टरों से सलाह लेनी चाहिए। अस्थमा रोगी को किसी भी कोरोना संक्रमित के संपर्क में आने से बचना चाहिए। यहां तक कि यदि किसी को निमोनिया हो जाता है तो कोरोना की जांच भी आवश्यक रूप से करवा लेनी चाहिए।

इस समय अस्थमा रोगियों को डॉक्टर की सलाह से उचित दवाई लेना चाहिए कोशिश करना चाहिए के कफ या सर्दी छाती में जमा ना हो।खाने पीने का भी विशेष ध्यान रखना चाहिए चीजें जैसे बेकरी प्रोडक्ट , ठंडी कोल्ड ड्रिंक,काकड़ी,डिब्बा बंद खाद्य सामग्री का उपयोग नहीं करना चाहिए।बल्कि प्रतिरोधक क्षमता बढ़ाने के लिए गर्म पानी पीना चाहिए,खाने के तुरंत बाद सोना नहीं चाहिए।खाने में लहसुन,अदरक, लौंग, दालचीनी आदि गरम मसाले जिससे इम्युनिटी बड़े इस्तेमाल करना चाहिए जिससे कोरोना के खिलाफ प्रतिरोधी क्षमता बड़े।

शहर में कोरोना मुक्त मरीजों की संख्या बढ़कर हुई 56

नागपुर:- शहर में बढ़ते कोरोना संकट को देखते हुए इसी बीच एक खबर दिल को राहत देने वाली भी है जिसके अनुसार तीन वयस्कों और एक वृद्धा ने कोरोना को मात दे दी है।इसी के साथ नागपुर में कोरोना मुक्त हुए लोगों की संख्या बढ़कर 56 हो गई है। मेयो हॉस्पिटल से 5 कोरोना मुक्त मरीजों की छुट्टी हुई जिसमें 11 वर्षीय बच्ची ,13 वर्षीय लड़का,15 वर्षीय लड़का और 40 वर्षीय दो युवकों को भी हॉस्पिटल से छुट्टी मिली है।

दूसरी ओर 27 अप्रैल को कामठी रोड स्थित खासगी हॉस्पिटल में एक कैंसर पेशेंट कोरोना पॉजिटिव पाया गया था जिसके बाद उसे मेयो में एडमिट किया गया था।उसके कई दिनों के अंतराल में सैंपल लिए गए थे दूसरी बार टेस्ट करने पर नेगेटिव आया कई दिनों हॉस्पिटल में उपचार चलने के बाद उसे छुट्टी दे दी गई है।दूसरी ओर देखा जाए तो नागपुर में मार्च महीने में 16 मरीज,अप्रैल में 122 मरीज और मई की 4 तारीख तक 23 कोरोना के मरीज़ दर्ज किए गए थे।कोरोना मरीजों की संख्या बढ़ने के साथ ही प्रशासन ने कई कठोर कदम उठाए ताकि इस संक्रमण को कम किया जा सके।

मेयो लैब में 2 लोगों की रिपोर्ट पॉजिटिव आई है जिसमें एक 40 वर्षीय युवक और एक 30 वर्षीय महिला थी दोनों पाचपवली पुलिस क्वार्टर में क्वारंटाइन थे।वहीं मेडिकल लैब में एक 6 महीने की बच्ची ,एक 5 वर्ष की बच्ची और उसकी 29 वर्षीय मां का कोरोना सैंपल पॉजिटिव आया है।कई दिनों पहले इन्हे आमदार निवास पर क्वारंटाइन किया गया था।वैसे और भी कई लोग क्वारंटाइन में थे,दिन भर से  उपचार चल रहा है।कुल संख्या की बात की जाए तो कोरोना पॉजिटिव की संख्या 160 हो गई है।

15 medics among 43 households in quarantine; 3 areas of Chanda sealed

After a resident of Krishna Nagar was found positive for Covid-19 on Saturday evening, the civil administration sealed Krishna Nagar, adjacent Sanjay Nagar and Durgah ward localities. Three members of the family of the 50-year-old patient were placed into the ward of isolation, and their samples were sent for examination.

Complete 28 members of six families from residential apartment in the posh Shivaji Nagar area where the patient worked as a security guard and 15 medicines were placed into home quarantine, including 10 doctors who came into touch during initial care.

Collector Kunal Khemnar issued a statement urging people not to worry and told that none will be allowed outside of the containment areas except for medical emergencies.

Sanjay Nagar and Durgah ward were designated a containment zone, both adjacent to Krishna Nagar with a population of over 10,000. Surrounding 7 km area has been designated as a buffer zone and health department will also conduct screening in this area to track people with coronavirus infection symptoms.

Civil surgeon Dr ND Rathod told that various teams, consisting of 40 health department employees, have begun house-to-house human screening to identify Covid patients. On Sunday approximately 2,500 people were screened. The contact tracing process is underway in the region, he added.

A sprinkling of disinfectants has sanitized the entire area.

Dr. Rathod said the patient had visited GMCH complaining of chest pain and many doctors and nurses came into contact with him during the initial treatment. “We’ve asked 10 physicians, three staff nurses, and two assistants to remain in quarantine at home,” he said. A total of 28 individuals belonging to six families were also placed into home quarantine from an apartment where the patient worked as a security guard, he said adding that swab samples of all those suspected contacts will be taken after six days.

He had been suffering from fever since April 23 according to information provided by the security guard. The guard also said in the last 15 days that he had not gone outside of the area. Authorities are trying to determine the origins of the infection and its allegations. His condition is now stable.

Meanwhile, Sunday morning, district collectors visited the containment area along with senior officers. Guardian Minister Vijay Wadettiwar has checked the evening’s situation.

ICMR approves 24 private laboratories at Maharashtra, 1st in Nagpur

Nagpur:- Nagpur has finally got its first private Covid-19 research center. The Indian Medical Research Council (ICMR) gave Dhruv Pathology and Molecular Diagnostic Lab in Ramdaspeth a permit on Friday to collect samples and perform Covid-19 tests. The cost of the swab sample processing in private laboratories would be Rs4,500 as per ICMR guidelines.

“We got the endorsement on Friday evening. We are ready to start checking samples from Monday with the set-up and manpower, “said Dr. Shailesh Mundhada, director of Dhruv lab. As per ICMR guidelines, laboratories can check samples from anyone who has a valid doctor’s prescription for the study. But, in Nagpur, the NMC has ordered private laboratories to obtain samples from only those patients admitted to hospitals and recommended by treating doctors for tests.

“If the patient displays Covid-19 signs, the doctors will approach us and our team will gather samples,” Mundhada said.

On Friday ICMR released a list of 105 private laboratories in the country where Covid-19 studies can be carried out. The list includes 24 Maharashtra Laboratories. Apart from Nagpur, there were also approvals for private labs in Thane, Nashik, and Karad. Earlier, 19 Pune and Mumbai based laboratories had approvals.
