Nagpur Updates: The death toll due to coronavirus in Vidarbha has risen to six with two women who died in Amravati on April 20 testing positive for Covid-19 on April 22. Which include three from Amravati and one from Buldhana, Nagpur, and Akola respectively.

Such six deaths are related to a number of things. None of the deceased had a proven history of travel. All died as victims of Covid-19, and were screened after death as a confirmed positive case. All the diseases suffered from comorbidities such as obesity, diabetes, kidney disorders, or TB. All were over 40 years old and died before test reports arrived from their swab samples.

In other words, they died as victims of Covid-19 and not as patients who had been confirmed. None of them were moved to isolation. This also means that no Covid-19 patient has died in isolation wards to date in the area while being treated. The only exception to this is a 30-year-old youth who committed suicide in the isolation ward of Akola after finding out that Covid-19 had been identified positively. Yet, he committed suicide, and Covid-19 had not died.

Five out of six deaths occur in the division of Amravati. “There are three deaths in Amravati, and one in Akola and Buldhana each. Most of them were previously handled in private hospitals, “said Dr. Riyaz Faruqui, Amravati division’s deputy director (health services).

“Our attention is on tracing the deceased’s high-risk interactions and the earliest possible identification of healthy patients. Moving them to isolation wards will not only help break the corona chain but will also ensure that their condition stays stable and there are more chances of recovery, “he added.

Currently, Vidarbha has 125 active cases Covid-19. No Covid-19 patient has ever died having been admitted for treatment in an isolation ward. About 70% of active cases in Vidarbha are asymptomatic and have every chance to recover, officials say.

AKOLA Businessman (45) uncontrolled diabetes and hypertension patient died of respiratory disease at the govt hospital on April 13 tested +ve on April 15 was admitted directly to the government hospital as he was a resident of the locality from which positive patients had already been registered

5. Amravati Woman (60) already sealed resident of Hyderpura hypertension patient died in a private hospital on April 20 post-death tests checked +ve on April 22

6. Amravati Woman (70) resident of the sealed Kamela Field patient of sugar and BP died at home on April 20 due to old age samples were taken after death tested on April 22 Akola One person committed suicide in the isolation ward on April 11 Covid-19 was tested on April 10 positive.

जानकारी के अनुसार, शुक्रवार को सरकार चीनी किट्स पर बड़ा फैसला ले सकती है। भारतीय आयुर्विज्ञान अनुसंधान परिषद (आईसीएमआर) के एक वरिष्ठ वैज्ञानिक ने बताया, 14 कंपनियों के बैच को संतोषजनक मान मंजूरी दी थी जिसमें चीन, नीदरलैंड और दक्षिण कोरिया सहित भारतीय कंपनियां भी थीं। सबसे पहले आपूर्ति चीन से शुरू हुई। 

दरअसल, वहां पहले से कंपनियां किट बना रही हैं।अब तक आईं 40 करोड़ की किट चीन की वांडोफ बायोटे व लिवजोन डायग्नोस्टिक ने अब तक करीब 40 करोड़ की 8.5 लाख किट भारत को भेजी हैं। वांडोफ बायोटेक की 60 फीसदी से ज्यादा किट्स आई हैं। इसी कंपनी ने 20 लाख किट्स यूके सरकार को मार्च में दी थीं। वहां शुरुआती जांच में ही गड़बड़ी पकड़ने के बाद रोक लगा दी थी।स्टॉक वापस लेना होगा

क्या राज्य अपनी चूक पर डाल रहे पर्दा? कई राज्यों ने तो चीन की दोनों कंपनियों वांडोफ बायोटेक और लिवजोन डायग्नोस्टिक से रैपिड टेस्ट किट्स सीधे खरीदी थीं। तमिलनाडु ने दो बार में 24 और 34 हजार किट और छत्तीसगढ़ ने दक्षिण कोरिया की कंपनी एसडी बायोसेंसर को 75 हजार किट्स का ऑर्डर दिया।

देश में जिन चीनी कंपनियों की जांच किट पर सवाल उठे हैं, उन पर यूरोप पहले ही प्रतिबंध लगा चुका है। परिणाम भरोसेमंद न मिलने पर यूरोपीय देशों ने 20 लाख किट चीन को वापस भेज दी थीं। आरोप है, चीन ने महीने भर बाद करोड़ों की यही किट भारत को भेज दीं। शुरुआती जांच में संतोषजनक नतीजे आने पर किट्स राज्यों को भजीं, लेकिन राज्यों के सवाल खड़े करने पर इस्तेमाल रोक दिया गया है। परंतु बड़ा सवाल यह है कि इस लापरवाही का जिम्मेदार कौन है?

इसलिए लगानी पड़ी तत्काल रोक छत्तीसगढ़ में चार हजार में से 200 किट्स की जांच में एक पॉजिटिव मिला था। आरटी पीसीआर जांच में वह निगेटिव मिला। गुजरात को मिलीं किट्स में से एक हजार किट्स की जांच में करीब 10 फीसदी परिणाम ही मिले हैं। जबकि राजस्थान में 5 तो पश्चिम बंगाल में 2 या 3 फीसदी परिणाम ही मिले हैं। इसलिए अब इसकी दोबारा जांच जरूरी है।

23 कंपनियों के बैच को दी है मान्यता पुणे स्थित नेशनल इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ वायरोलॉजी इसकी मान्यता दे रहा है। अब तक 23 कंपनियों के बैच को मान्यता दी जा चुकी है जिनमें 9 स्वदेशी भी शामिल हैं। चीन, कोरिया, अमेरिका, नीदरलैंड इत्यादि देशों की इन कंपनियों को अब तक 51 लाख रैपिड टेस्ट किट्स के ऑर्डर भी दिए जा चुके हैं लेकिन आपूर्ति अभी तक चीनी कंपनियों से ही हुई है।

दो बार में चीन से आईं किट्स पिछले पांच दिन में चीनी कंपनियों से 8.5 लाख जांच किट्स प्राप्त हो चुकी हैं। जिसका पहला बैच (5.5 लाख किट्स) बीते 16 अप्रैल को भारत आया, जिन्हें 18 अप्रैल तक प्रभावित राज्यों को उपलब्ध भी करा दिया गया। दूसरी बार 21 अप्रैल को 3 लाख किट्स भारत आई हैं। इनमें 80 हजार किट्स राजस्थान और तमिलनाडु में मंगाए गए थे।

आईसीएमआर के मुताबिक, भारत ने किट्स के लिए परीक्षण प्रोटोकॉल बनाया है। इसके तहत कंपनी को बैच के अनुसार मान्यता दी जाएगी। एक बैच आने पर जांच के बाद आगे भेजा जाता है। उसी कंपनी के अगले बैच की फिर जांच होगी। खामी मिली तो पूरा स्टॉक कंपनी को वापस ले जाना होगा।तुर्की में 35, स्पेन में 20 फीसदी ही सफल…

चीनी दूतावास ने कहा- मामला गंभीर, करेंगे मदद दिल्ली स्थित चीनी दूतावास ने कहा है, चीन से आने वाले स्वास्थ्य उत्पादों की गुणवत्ता को लेकर वह बेहद गंभीर है और इसमें भारत की मदद करेगा। दूतावास ने कहा, भारत को प्रमाणित कंपनियों से ही सामग्री लेनी चाहिए। ऐसी कंपनियों से ही मेडिकल सामग्री खरीदें, जिसे चीन के अधिकारियों ने सत्यापित किया है।

चीनी कंपनियों की किट पर कई देशों ने सवाल खड़े किए हैं। स्लोवाक, स्पेन, तुर्की और अमेरिका के कुछ राज्यों ने चीन से मंगाई गई इन रैपिड जांच किट्स को इस्तेमाल किया था, लेकिन गुणवत्ता न मिलने पर वापस कर दिया गया। तुर्की में इन किट्स की गुणवत्ता 35 तो स्पेन में 20 फीसदी ही थी। वहीं नियमानुसार गुणवत्ता 70 से 80 फीसदी तक होनी चाहिए।

राष्ट्रीय स्वास्थ्य मिशन के तहत केंद्र से मिली आर्थिक सहायता के जरिए इन किट्स को खरीदा जा रहा है। दिल्ली में इसी बजट से स्वदेशी कंपनी मायलैब की किट्स का इस्तेमाल आरटी पीसीआर में किया जा रहा है। लेकिन अब इन राज्यों का कहना है कि आईसीएमआर से मान्यता प्राप्त कंपनियों को ही ऑर्डर दिए गए।

 

सूत्रों के अनुसार महाराष्ट्र के कैबिनेट मिनिस्टर जितेंद्र अव्हाद की कोरोना रिपोर्ट पॉजिटिव अाई है।दरअसल जितेंद्र अव्हाद एनसीपी के नेता है।बताया जा रहा है के उन्हें थाने के एक निजी हॉस्पिटल में चेकअप के लिए एडमिट किया गया है ।
ऐसा बताया जा रहा है के मिनिस्टर अव्हाद के 14-16 सिक्योरिटी स्टाफ की कोरोना रिपोर्ट पॉजिटिव अाई थीं इसके बाद उन्होंने खुद को क्वारंटाइन कर लिया था। बताया जा रहा है 13 अप्रैल को भी एक कोरोना रिपोर्ट करवाई थी किन्तु उस वक़्त रिपोर्ट नेगेटिव अाई थी ।

Nagpur Updates:- कोरोनाच्या महासंकटात नागपूरकरांसाठी आज दोन आशादायी बातम्या आहेत. पहिली म्हणजे नागपूर शहरातील एक कोरोनाबाधीत रुग्ण कोरोनामुक्त होऊन घरी परतला तर आजच्या दिवशी एकही रुग्ण पॉझिटिव्ह आढळला नाही.

आज कोरोनामुक्त होऊन घरी परतलेला रुग्ण एम्प्रेस सिटी येथील रहिवासी आहे. हा व्यक्ती दिल्ली येथे गेला होता. वृंदावन येथून तेलंगाणा एक्स्प्रेसने १७ रोजी नागपूरकरिता निघाला. १८ मार्च रोजी तो नागपुरात पोहोचला. अस्वस्थ वाटत असल्याने त्यांनी रुग्णालय गाठले. २८ मार्च रोजी त्यांच्या स्वॅबचा पहिला चाचणी अहवाल आला. त्यात तो रुग्ण कोरोनाबाधित असल्याचे निष्पन्न झाले होते. त्याच दिवशी त्यांना रुग्णालयात भरती करण्यात आले.

१४ व्या दिवशी म्हणजे १० एप्रिल रोजी त्यांची दुसरी चाचणी करण्यात आली. तिसरी चाचणी १८ एप्रिल रोजी करण्यात आली. या दोन्ही चाचण्या पॉझिटिव्ह होत्या. त्यांच्यावर नियमित उपचार सुरू होते. २१ आणि २२ एप्रिल रोजी पुन्हा त्यांचे स्वॅब घेण्यात आले. ह्या दोन्ही चाचण्या मात्र निगेटिव्ह आल्या. चाचण्या निगेटिव्ह आल्याने त्यांना गुरुवारी (ता. २३) कोरोनामुक्त म्हणून घरी पाठविण्यात आले.

इंदिरा गांधी शासकीय वैद्यकीय महाविद्यालय व रुग्णालयाचे अधिष्ठाता डॉ. अजय केवलिया, वैद्यकीय उपअधीक्षक डॉ. सागर पांडे यांच्या मार्गदर्शनात कोव्हिड-१९ वॉर्डाचे प्रमुख डॉ. राखी जोशी, मेडिसीन विभागाचे प्रमुख डॉ. पराते, डॉ. रवी चव्हाण यांनी त्यांच्यावर उपचार केलेत.

खामला येथील कोरोनाबाधीत रुग्ण ज्या ट्रेनने प्रवास करीत होता त्याच ट्रेनमध्ये हा व्यक्ती होता मात्र अन्य डब्यात होता.
आज हा रुग्ण पूर्णपणे कोरोनामुक्त झाल्यानंतर त्यांना डॉक्टरांच्या चमूने निरोप दिला आणि टाळ्या वाजवून त्यांचे अभिनंदन केले.

Nagpur Updates:- Oxford University will begin human research with a Covid-19 vaccine they have developed since Thursday, the UK government said in a press conference about coronavirus.

The Oxford team – led by Professor Sarah Gilbert, is studying ChAdOx1 nCoV-19, a candidate based on a modified chimpanzee adenovirus that contains the spike or ‘S’ protein on the SARS-CoV-2 surface, the virus causing Covid-19.

The government has supported the vaccine project at Oxford University with 20 million pounds and another 22 million pounds to a second vaccine project at Imperial College, London, health secretary Matt Hancock said on Wednesday, adding the initiative would help finance phase 2 trials and help plan for a larger phase 3 test.

Hancock said a vaccine is the “best way” to defeat the virus and bring down the number of cases in the country. He said the UK government is committed to providing financial support to build vaccine production capacity if they prove to be effective in clinical trials.

Nagpur updates:-As the geographical center of the country with connectivity across all modes of transportation, Nagpur has reported fewer COVID-19 patients compared to other parts of the state.

This has been possible because of the support of the people in the battle against COVID-19 by staying at home and self-quarantining themselves during the lockdown, said Dr. Sanjeev Kumar was interacting with people through Facebook live on Wednesday.

The focus of his live interaction was ‘Measures against Coronavirus Pandemic and Nagpur Division. Replying to a question, he said that if people continued follow-ing the guidelines of lockdown meticulously, it would break the chain of COVID-19 spread. “The key to winning the battle against COVID-19 is in quarantine and isolation,” he said while appealing to the people to extend due co-operation to the authorities concerned.

“The lockdown announced by the Central and State Governments is in the larger interest of the population of the country and Maharashtra,” said the Divisional Commissioner. Though some people might be feeling troubles because of stringent measures, they will have to bear it for the time being to ensure a brighter future, he said.

If people continue with their co-operation extended so far, COVID-19 spread in Nagpur Division can be checked, he added. At the outset of the interaction, the Divisional Commissioner informed the people about the status of COVID-19 outbreak in Nagpur Division, measures being taken by the administration, and preparations for the future.

Nagpur updates: Doctors and medical professionals attached to the Indian Medical Association (IMA) and its sister organisations have both called off symbolic demonstrations that they were about to witness for their long-awaited demand for a central legislation to ban violence against doctors.

On April 22 IMA had organized a White Warning protest and on April 23 a Black Day protest. The decision to withdraw protests came after the central government cleared the ordinance and declared acts of violence against health-care workers as cognizable, non-bailable offences.

“It’s a good central government decision and it’s very much needed at this stage. Doctors are warriors on the frontline against coronavirus. Unfortunately, in many cases, even in Maharashtra, they face abuse from patients’ relatives,” said Dr. Kush Jhunjhunwala, IMA Nagpur chief.

Going a step further, IMA has now requested the government to require all hospitals to work regularly to ensure that non-Covid patients provide proper healthcare services.

“During this lockout time hospitals and clinics across the country will remain open and operate. Universal steps will be taken, including PPEs, social distancing, hand hygiene, and other marks. There is a need to upgrade non-Covid facilities, “reads IMA national president Dr. Rajan Sharma’s declaration. At present, only emergency and essential services in non-Covid hospitals are allowed.

“We will create a separate category of ‘urgent’ services for cancer operations, organ transplants, etc., apart from the emergency and critical services,” the statement reads on.

The medical association is also opposed to local authorities’ proposals to purchase private hospitals for Covid-19 quarantine centers.

India became the 17th country in the world to record 20,000 cases of COVID-19 after 1,493 cases were registered on Tuesday, the second-highest single-day spike after the 1,553 on Sunday.
