I want to be alive, says pregnant woman trapped in camp with ailing daughter

Nagpur: Vishakha Praful Tambore, 24, and a resident of Boda village in Tiroda tehsil of Gondia district had come to Government Medical College and Hospital here for treatment of her two-year-old daughter Alia when the lockdown was announced by the government. She and her daughter are since stuck in Nagpur.

Vishakha said that since her birth, Alia has had heart disease. A local doctor advised her to go to GMCH Nagpur to take Alia. They were in Nagpur when a complete shutdown was abruptly declared and all transport services shut down. “We were trapped in a building. Yesterday, we were taken to Tuli Hotel Management College shelter camp near Koradi’s post-Nagpur street by authorities, “Vishakha said. We were not allowed to leave.

Neerja, the manager who along with friend Neha Patel, an entrepreneur and few others who manage shelter camp Neerja, said that men, including Vishakha, are at risk of staying without a doctor in these camps. She said they tried a doctor because most people stay in the camp are a routine check-up

मुख्यमंत्र्यांसह सर्व लोकप्रतिनिधींच्या वेतनात 60 टक्के कपात

मुंबई, दि. 31 :- ‘कोरोना’च्या प्रादुर्भावामुळे निर्माण झालेल्या आरोग्य व आर्थिक परिस्थितीवर मात करण्यासाठी राज्याच्या मुख्यमंत्री, उपमुख्यमंत्र्यांपासून, विधीमंडळाचे सर्व सदस्य तसेच स्थानिक स्वराज संस्थांच्या सदस्यांपर्यंत सर्व लोकप्रतिनिधींच्या मार्च महिन्याच्या वेतनात 60 टक्के कपात करुन त्यांना 40 टक्के वेतन देण्यात येणार आहे. राज्यातील ‘अ’ आणि ‘ब’ वर्गातील अधिकारी-कर्मचाऱ्यांच्या वेतनात 50 टक्के कपात करण्यात आली असून त्यांना निम्मे वेतन देण्यात येणार आहे. ‘क’ वर्गाच्या कर्मचाऱ्यांना 75 टक्के वेतन मिळेल. ‘ड’ वर्गाच्या कर्मचाऱ्यांच्या वेतनात कोणतीही कपात करण्यात आलेली नाही. राज्य शासकीय अधिकारी-कर्मचारी संघटनांच्या प्रतिनिधींशी चर्चा करुन हा निर्णय घेण्यात आला आहे.  उपमुख्यमंत्री तथा वित्त व नियोजनमंत्री अजित पवार यांनी ही माहिती दिली.
‘कोरोना’चं संकट आणि ‘टाळाबंदी’मुळे राज्याच्या आर्थिक उत्पन्नात झालेली  घट लक्षात घेऊन तसेच ‘कोरोना’विरुद्धच्या लढ्याला नैतिक आणि आर्थिक बळ देण्यासाठी हा निर्णय घेण्यात आला असल्याचे उपमुख्यमंत्र्यांनी स्पष्ट केले. विधीमंडळाच्या दोन्ही सभागृहांचे तसेच राज्यातील सर्व स्थानिक स्वराज संस्थांचे अध्यक्ष, पदाधिकारी, सदस्य तसेच राज्यातील सर्व शासकीय अधिकारी, कर्मचारी या निर्णयाला पाठिंबा, सहकार्य देतील, असा विश्वास उपमुख्यमंत्र्यांनी व्यक्त केला आहे.

They are supplying essential goods with trains on the route despite of Corona virus pandemic

The Indian Railways loaded 71,261 freight cars – the 48614 contained critical goods; 2264 7 contained more important goods.

Such lock-up heroes are the locomotive pilots, their station assistants, and their guards, their supervisors, pointsmen and controls, and their jobs are interlinked. They are the ones who are still service and traffic.

Passes issued by police to be presumed to be extended till 14th April 

Nagpur: In essential cases, people approached police stations to get passes from place to place and to supply essential goods. People went to police stations to collect passes so that they could move for essential work. Several politicians, physicians, pharmacists, relatives of sick people came to the police stations to receive passes. The passes were issued from several police stations following the inspection of qualifications and reasons given by the resident. Thousands of people come to police stations every day to get passes to travel through the city and claim to be supporters of ‘basic services.’ 

Whatever passes issued by police till 31st March are to be presumed extended till 14th April. Police announced people no need to come to the police station for an extension.

COVID-19 lockdown-TRAI extends scope of prepaid service

India is threatened by the rapid spread of the deadly Coronavirus and people are working from home after the entire country has been placed under lockdown to combat the virus. With many video streaming apps, their High Definition HD and Ultra High Definition video qualities were suspended from their site to reduce network stress.

Now India’s Telecom Regulatory Authority (TRAI) has requested telecom operators to extend the validity period for prepaid users to ensure consumers have uninterrupted telecom services available on this 21-day lockdown.

TRAI said in a Sunday communication to all operators “You will take the necessary steps as deemed fit including extending the validity period to ensure that all prepaid customers are able to enjoy uninterrupted services during the lockdown time.”

“Although the telecommunications facilities were regarded as essential services and thereby given an exception to the closure. However, locking down can adversely affect the functioning of customer service centers/sales locations point, “TRAI said.

The regulator added: “Under these conditions, it is quite likely that those customers who wish to upgrade their prepaid balance or wish to extend their subscription to a prepaid tariff using offline channels can face difficulties and/or service interruptions.”

नागपूर : कोव्हीड 19 या विषाणू मुळे पसरणाऱ्या साथीच्या पार्श्वभूमी वर हँड सिनिटाइझरच्या उत्पादनास प्रोत्साहन देणे बाबत आयुक्त राज्य उत्पादन शुल्क महाराष्ट्र राज्य मुंबई – कांतीलाल उमाप यांनी कळविले वरुन नागपूर डिस्ट्रीलरीचे डायरेक्टर जगन्नाथ सिंग सेठी टेका नाका नागपूर या मदय उत्पादक युनीट ने हँड सिनिटाइझर बनवून देण्यास तयार असल्याचे कळवून विनंती केली. त्या नुसार  सर्व मदय उत्पादकांचे सहयोगाने अन्न व औषध विभागा कडून अर्जदारांना हँड सँनिटायजर चे  उत्पादन करण्यासाठी लायसन्स देण्यात आले व जिल्हाधिकारी नागपूर हयांनी सँनिटायजर उत्पादन करण्यासाठी कंपनी उघडण्यासाठी परवानगी दिली.  आज WHO च्या मापदंडा नुसार हँड सँनिटायजर बनवून पुरवठा करण्यास सुरुवात करण्यात आली. या कामी  जिल्ह्याधिकारी नागपूर रवींद्र ठाकरे व विभागीय उपायुक्त मोहन वर्दे तसेच अधिक्षक राज्य उत्पादन शुल्क प्रमोद सोनोने तसेच FDI व पोलीस विभागाने सहकार्य केले तसेच घटकांचे प्रभारी अधिकारी सूरज कुसले व क्षेत्रीय अधिकारी निरीक्षक रावसाहेब कोरे यांनी उत्पादन सुरु होण्यास मदत केली.

 

स्वातंत्रसैनिक विधवा पत्नी कडून मदत

40000 रुपये आपली एक महिन्याची पेन्शन मुख्यमंत्री सहाय्यता निधीला दिला …. हा चेक त्यांच्या वतीने कुटुंबातील सदस्यांनी नागपूरचे  जिल्हाधिकारी रवींद्र ठाकरे यांच्याकडे सुपूर्त केला .. त्यांच्या या उपक्रमाचे नागपूर मध्ये सर्वच स्तरातून कौतुक होत आहे.

नागपुरात अजून दोघे कोरोनाबाधित; एकूण संख्या १६; विदर्भ २१

Nagpur updates: कोरोनाबाधितांच्या व संशयितांच्या संख्येत दिवसागणिक वाढ होत असल्याचे चिंताजनक वास्तव समोर येत आहे. उपराजधानीत रविवारी दोन अजून नवे रुग्ण कोरोनाबाधितांमध्ये समाविष्ट करण्यात आले आहेत. या वाढीमुळे नागपुरातील कोरोनाबाधितांची संख्या आता १६ वर गेली आहे. विदर्भात ही संख्या २१ झाली आहे.

कोणाच्याही संपर्कात राहू नका असे प्रशासन व कायदा वारंवार सांगत असला तरी नागरिकांनी अद्याप तसे करणे मनावर घेतलेले दिसत नाही. बाजारपेठांमध्ये गर्दी असते. नागरिक फिरायलाही बाहेर पडतात. उत्साही मंडळी फेरफटका मारू पाहतात. अशाच कारणांमुळे कोरोनाचा संसर्ग वाढतो आहे. नागपुरातील भाजीबाजार ३१ तारखेपर्यंत बंद ठेवण्यात आला आहे. शेतकऱ्यांनी आपला शेतमाल शहरात किंवा जवळच्या गावात जाऊन थेट विकावा असे आवाहन मनपा आयुक्त तुकाराम मुंढे यांनी केले आहे.

Forest department contributes almost Rs3cr to the CM fund

Nagpur: In view of the Covid-19 pandemic, all officials and staff in the forest department agreed to contribute the CMRF for a day and two days ‘pay.

The forest service has more than 16,000 staff and officers. Their contribution is estimated to amount to almost Rs3 crore, including 1200 employees of the State-owned Maharashtra Forest Development Corporation (FDCM).

“Our duty is to reinforce the government’s hands in the hour of the crisis in battling Covid-19,” said SC Gairola of the PCCF.

Maharashtra, the Indian Forest Service Association, agreed to contribute each one-day wages to the CM Relief Fund in March 2020. Sanjeev Gaur, IFA Secretary, allowed the PCCF to decide appropriately.

KV Bolke and NR Gawande, both president and secretary of the FRA, Maharashtra, said that the country’s economy is going through a critical stage in its release as the coronavirus crisis has led to the lockdown.

“State and central government major efforts need tremendous funds to tackle the crisis. So we agreed to send CM Relief Fund two-day March’s salary, “Gawande said.

Nagpur, the State Forestry Gazette Association of Maharashtra, has also agreed to offer a March day’s salary. Subhash Dongre called on all gazetted officials to make a generous contribution.

Ajay Patil, BJP chief, Central Chairman of the Maharashtra National Forest Guards and Forestry Union, has appealed to all employees to donate to the CM Relief Fund to combat the coronavirus in addition to that of Maharashtra State of Van Majoor and Forest Workers Union.

Pradeep Shende of the State Forestry and Social Forestry Workers ‘Union of Maharashtra claimed that all workers affiliated with the Union agreed to add a day of pay.
