The resolution covers the diverse policy and strategic decision-making, monitoring progress, selection, cooperation and assessment and achievement of the common sense of identity by sharing technical expertise between two countries under the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Program in the field of enhanced service delivery.
It agreed that the Conference would work on the provision of better service to empower people through greater cooperation between DARPG and the participating States and that the Good Governance Index will be published on a yearly basis in order to identify governance qualities in 10 sectors, particularly the social welfare and infrastructure sectors of the Union, State and Distributor
The conference was organized in partnership with the Government of Maharashtra and the Maharashtra State Commission of the Right to Public Services by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DarpG) of the Government of India.

Nagpur: For its two new 660MW units in Koradi, Mahagenco is so desperate to get environmental clearance that it resorts to underhand tactics.
The company submitted a proposal to the Ministry of Energy, Forests and Climate Change (MoEFCC) Expert Assessment Committee (EAC). The committee decided to send a six-member site visit team as the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) submitted an adverse pollution level report in the region.
Between 1 to 3 August 2019, the team visited Koradi. During this time, all five Koradi plant units were closed down by Mahagenco citing maintenance shutdown and no grid demand. During this time, it also shut down two out of five nearby Khaparkheda plant units.
Nevertheless, the team found pollutant levels well above the limit in the Koradi area.
A look at daily reports from the Maharashtra State Load Despatch Center (MSLDC) reveals that several 500MW units from Bhusawal and Chandrapur were involved during this period. Mahagenco could have operated a few units of the Koradi plant to provide a proper image for the team.
The acceptable standard for 210MW units of sulphur dioxide (SO2) is 600 mg / Nm3. The range was between 835 and 1527 mg / Nm3 for Koradi units. For 660MW units, the permissible amount of SO2 is 100 mg / Nm3. The emission levels for Koradi’s three 660MW units were between 1477 and 1722 mg / Nm3. Khaparkheda’s 210MW SO2 level was 1174 to 1218 mg / Nm3, while the 500MW level was 1615 mg / Nm3 against a 100 maximum.
For 210MW systems, the permissible amount of nitrogen oxides (NOx) is 600 mg / Nm3. The emission level of the two power plants was within the limits of all 210MW systems. The standard is 100 mg / Nm3 for 500MW and 660MW units. The figures ranged from 297 to 351 mg / Nm3 for Koradi and Khaparkheda units.
Sudhir Paliwal, Vidarbha Environmental Action Group (VEAG) convener, has recommended that Koradibe re-inspected by the EAC team. “The level of pollution increases during the rainy season. Mahagenco also had a reason to shut down the whole factory. The test will take place in winter when the plants are running at full load, “he said.

Since Malaysian palm oil and American soya digam recovered smartly, sentiment also changed. According to reports, a healthy increase on NCDEX and a fresh rise in soybean oil prices in Madhya Pradesh also fuelled prices.

Nagpur, Dec 23 (Reuters) – Gram recovered strongly in Nagpur Agriculture Produce and Marketing
Company (APMC) here good seasonal demand from local millers amid tight supply from producing
regions. Healthy rise on NCDEX and upward trend in Madhya Pradesh pulses also helped to push up
prices here.
About 50 bags of gram reported for auction, according to sources.

Nagpur: In 2001, 47 roads had been widened by Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) without shifting electric poles, transformers, etc., which later resulted in road damage. Through concretizing those roads without moving electric poles and utilities, the civic body and other government agencies are now repeating the same mistake.
A month ago, under the CM Special Fund, NMC concretized and extended a stretch of Sonegaon main road. On one side of the road on Sonegaon basti square, an electric transformer is now on the road.
A number of electric poles on the side of the old road are now in the carriageway on the same stretch. The stretch was about 9 meters wide earlier. Now the poles are covered completely by sheets of concrete pavers. They’re now a motorists threat.
At Sahakar Nagar, it’s the same. Here a six-meter wide path was concretized with blocks of pavers on either side for three metres. There are now many electric poles and a transformer in this extra three-meter field.
In Civil Lines, the situation on WCL Road is worse. MahaMetro is concretizing the stretch from the Maharashtra Jeevan Pradhikaran (MJP) office to the WCL road T-point to Telangkhedi Hanuman Mandir to Futala lake with the help of funds approved by the State’s Public Works Department.
The scheme will be called Mahatma Jyotirao Phule loan waiver scheme. Maharashtra’s chief minister, Uddhav Thackeray, announced on Saturday that crop loans will be waived to a maximum of 2 lakh until September 30, 2019. While the government has not revealed the exact amount of the package and the number of farmers benefiting from the scheme, Finance Minister Jayant Patil said the amount could be more than some 20,000 crores. Uddhav The scheme will be renamed Mahatma Jyotirao Phule loan waiver scheme Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray declared on Saturday that crop loans up to 02 lakh will be waived until September 30th.
The Common Minimum Program (CMP), announced last month by the government of Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), listed farm loan waivers as one of its agenda’s main points. The decision of Saturday is seen as the first step towards the fulfilment of the CMP promises.
The chief minister said the waiver of the loan would be a straightforward scheme and the money would be transferred directly to farmers ‘ accounts.
“The farmer is not going to suffer from any restrictions and the government is planning to free loan as many farmers as possible,” he said. Mr Thackeray said that the new loan will also be restructured, which will be pending next June.
“Those who pay the crop loan regularly without fail will receive the benefits of a new scheme to be announced in the next 15 days,” he added.
Mr Patil later told the sources that it would soon be announced the actual number of beneficiaries and the total amount of the loan.
“But the sum would surpass more than 20,000 crore that the previous government claims to have disbursed. There will be no forms, no spouse interview, no online system as the previous government has done. We are going to do it in a transparent way. The scheme’s specifics will be announced soon, “he said. The Opposition BJP alleged that the government of the state had assured full waiver of loans and had backstabbed the farmers by not doing so. Opposition Leader Devendra Fadnavis staged a walk-out in protest while Mr. Thackeray was congratulated by the treasury benches MLAs.
NAGPUR: As stated in its pre-poll manifesto by Shiv Sena, CM Uddhav Thackeray announced on Saturday, the last day of the winter session, the ‘ Shiv Bhojan (meal) scheme at Rs 10. The scheme will initially be implemented in the state at 50 centres.
At Rs 10, Shiv Sena had vowed to provide the poor with a subsidized nutritious meal. The pledge of the Sena survey, also endorsed by its two allies — Congress and NCP, is part of the ‘ simple minimum system ‘ tri-party.
The scheme will be introduced in the first phase with 1,000 Shiv Bhojan centers offering meal worth Rs 40, at a subsidized rate of Rs 10, whereas the government would bear a grant of Rs 30 per plate.

‘नागरिकत्व कायद्याच्या समर्थनार्थ संपूर्ण नागपूरकर एकजूट झाले आहेत. हा कायदा कुठल्या धर्माच्या किंवा जातीच्या विरोधी जाणार नाही’, अशी प्रतिक्रिया फडणवीस यांनी दिली. काही राजकीय पक्ष आणि लोकांद्वारे या कायद्याबाबत समाजात गैरसमज पसरविण्यात येत असल्याचा आरोप देखील फडणवीस यांनी केला. अशा अफवा आणि गैरसमज पसरवणाऱ्यांच्या निषेधार्थ नागपूरकर रस्त्यावर उतरले असल्याचं फडणवीसांनी सांगितलं.
