The Indian Railways will introduce a new Tejas Express train between Ahmedabad and Mumbai Central. The new Tejas Express will run six days a week, except on Thursdays. On its inaugural run on 17 January, Train No. 09426 Ahmedabad-Mumbai Central Tejas Express leaves Ahmedabad at 9:30 a.m. and reaches Mumbai Central at 4:00 p.m. Likewise, in the return direction, train No. 09425 Mumbai Central-Ahmedabad will depart from Mumbai Central at 17:15 and Ahmedabad will arrive at 23:30.

Train No. 82902 Ahmedabad-Mumbai Central Tejas Express will depart Ahmedabad at 06:40 hrs on its regular run from 19 January to reach Mumbai Central at 13:10 hrs. Train No. 82901 Mumbai Central-Ahmedabad Tejas Express (Except Thursday) will leave Mumbai Central at 15:40 hrs and Ahmedabad will arrive at 21:55 hrs. The Tejas Express will stop at Nadiad, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Vapi and Borivali stations in both directions.

The train leaves Ahmedabad at 6:40 a.m. and arrives at Nadiad at 7:19 a.m., Vadodara at 8:03 a.m., Bharuch at 8:56 a.m., Surat at 9:35 a.m., Vapi at 10:55 a.m., and Borivali at 12:31 a.m. before its departure at Mumbai Central at 01:30 p.m. On its return journey, the Tejas Express will depart Mumbai at 03.40 pm and stop at Borivali at 04.14pm, Vapi 05.37 pm, Surat at 06.47 pm, Bharuch at 07.29 pm, Vadodara at 08.18 pm, Nadiad at 09.03 pm and Ahmedabad at 09.55 pm. Tejas Express will deliver world-class comfort and amenities to passengers, according to a statement issued by the Western Railways division of the Indian Railways.

Flash strike by employees hit the Nagpur garbage collection

Approximately 1,600 employees engaged in door-to-door rubbish collection and transport to Bhandewadi Dumping Yard left about 905 metric tons (MT) of a total of 1,255 MT in households and streets on Friday. Bhartiya Kamgar Sena extended the strike call, which was a result of delays in paying workers’ salaries by two operators — AG Enviro and BVG India — to Saturday. It will now rely on the workers whether to resume work or continue the strike, even as the operators have already paid their salaries.The two operators have taken over the work of Kanak Resources Management Ltd since 16 November. According to the unions, Kanak did not pay workers a salary of 15 days. New operators were supposed to pay workers wages by 7 December, but they also failed to do so. Approximately 800 workers from zones 1 to 5 working with AG Environ made a flash strike from the morning of Friday morning. Zone 6-10 staff under the BVG India started their work as usual. When they learned to strike in Zone 1-5, they also went on strike. The NMC sources told TOI that only 350 MT (27.8%) of the garbage could be transported to Bhandewadi. Municipal Commissioner Abhijit Bangar said the garbage collection and transport will start from 1 pm and will be normalized from Saturday. “The two operators have been warned of any such problems in the future. It is their responsibility to ensure that salaries are paid on time.NMC should do its best to release payments every month, but operators should not find reasons for delays in NMC payments, “he said. Additional municipal commissioner Ram Joshi said that only 40% of the garbage collection and transport had been affected. “We instructed the operators to continue to collect and transport until night,” he said.The NMC did not invoke the Authority. Sometimes, I guess, the last 15 days, sufficient notice of the employees and unions notices has not been taken. Congressman Praful Gudadhe said the workers were right to go on strike. Workers are low and wages are important to them. They can not afford daily expenses if payments are postponed. They haven’t earned anything in the last two months.” After meeting with Bangar, union leader Suresh Talwekar said that the strike will begin on Saturday as employees have not earned the minimum wage. “Workers work in a filthy state and face serious health problems. They’re keeping the city clean. They should receive salaries and incentives on or before the 7th of each month, “he said.Bangar said the pay-related misunderstanding has been resolved. “Operators paid staff wages of 15 days. The salary for December is due to be paid in January. Workers wrongly believed it was a month’s salary that we made clear to them, “he said. Bangar’s refused strike will start on Saturday. “The problem has come to an end,” he said. Joshi said, “Some workers didn’t get a pay check on Friday because they couldn’t open the accounts. We told the operators to pay them by check on Saturday,” he said. Garbage could be seen dumped in huge quantities in various locations throughout the region. Citizens and business businesses could be seen dumping garbage at these sites because the collection did not take place in the morning.

Sadar Flyover is ready to open, Mayor Joshi pays a visit.

The much-anticipated flyover works in Sadar have been completed in the final phase and the last leg of patchwork has been completed. On Friday, Mayor Sandeep Joshi visited the site and reviewed the project. While the asphalting of the road on the flyover has been completed, the work on the final patchwork is going on at the level of war.The project is currently undergoing the last leg of painting, street marking, street lighting installation, electrical fittings, signboards and a few other works.

Nagpur police officer 5th in Maharashtra for women cops

NAGPUR: City police ranked 5th in the state to provide women cops with facilities in the form of separate resting and washing quarters.

In building facilities for women policemen, city police are ahead of their Pune counterparts. The 30 police stations in Nagpur have 34 washrooms and 14 restrooms, while the same number of police stations in Pune have 30 washrooms and 16 restrooms. Thane is the best in the state with 35 police stations with 41 washrooms and 32 restrooms. Nagpur’s government railway police (GRP) is the worst on the list, with none of its 16 police stations having either a restroom or a laundry room for women cops.

There is no mention of Mumbai police in the police station-wise list of each unit across Maharashtra, which has been highlighted on the state police website.

There is a lot of hues and cry on different platforms, followed by deputations to different units and also the government, regarding the establishment of basic facilities for women cops, including separate resting and washing rooms for them and special arrangements for long bandobast mobile toilets.

A survey conducted under the guidance of an IG ranking officer presented in 2016 at the 7th National Congress on Women Police had brought the problems they were facing to the fore. Likewise, results on women’s issues in various security forces were also included in the reports of the Standing Committee of Parliament and the Commission on Administrative Reforms, which were also included in the survey highlighting the need to build basic facilities.

City police commissioner BK Upadhyay said most police stations have separate washrooms for women, particularly the newly induced ones, while some have restrooms. “Separate mobile toilets and resting facilities were made available to women cops wherever they were on duty during the just-concluded winter assembly session,” he said.

A woman cop said that resting rooms are as necessary as washrooms on condition of anonymity. “Only having separate washrooms and no restrooms will not serve the purpose as it is inconvenient for women to sleep or lie in the presence of men,” she said.

In each floor of the three-story building, one of the best and state’s first smart Lakadganj police station in east Nagpur has a five-bedded resting room with attached toilets and separate washrooms.

“The spacious restroom in the newly built police station is one of the best in the state where we also plan to open a creche for their kids if our plan works out,” Lakadganj Police Station senior PI Narendra Hiware said.

In the province, there are 1,010 police stations with 837 washrooms and 571 women cops ‘ restrooms.

Nagpur Railway Station to get Rs 412 crore facelift

Nagpur: The Railway Administration has approved the modernisation of the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model of four railway stations including Nagpur Railway Station. The remaining three railway stations are Gwalior, Amritsar and Sabarmati (in Gujarat).

The Indian Railways are all set to impose charges for the use of railway platforms, following the footsteps of airports. The charges would be named the User Development Fee (UDF) and will be used for railway infrastructure development and upgrading. While flying through Indian airports, users must pay what is known as Airport Development Charges (ADC), funds collected through which airports are used to develop and maintain.

Total Rs 412 crore from the PPP scheme would be spent on modernizing and improving facilities at Nagpur Railway Station. Rs 372 crore was allocated for reconstruction station building and Rs 40 crore was allocated for other facilities out of this number. The private company would be granted the right to recover’ production fee’ for a period of 99 years after the sanctioning of tenders. Nagpur Railway Station’s modernization period would be completed within four and a half years, according to an official. “User fee” will be recovered after the work is completed. The amount of “user fee” has not been set as of now.

According to sources, the UDF will have to be charged by passengers boarding or deboarding trains in Nagpur, Gwalior, Amritsar and Sabarmati, which will also refer to those entering a railway station platform to see off or receive a passenger. Nevertheless, how much UDF is to be assessed for either case has not been determined so far.

देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांच्या निर्णयाला ठाणे महानगरपालिकेचा दणका; Axis Bank मधील खाती सरकारी बँकेमध्ये वळवण्याचा निर्णय

ठाकरे सरकार सत्तेत आल्यावर, ज्या प्रकारे देवेंद्र फडणवीस (Devendra Fadanvis) यांनी टिकास्त्रे सोडायला सुरुवात केली, त्याच पावलावर मिसेस माजी मुख्यमंत्रीही चालू लागल्या. गेल्या काही दिवसांपूर्वी अमृता फडणवीस (Amruta Fadnavis) आणि ठाकरे सरकार यांच्यामधील ट्वीटर युद्ध सर्वानीच पहिले. मात्र याचा फटका आता अॅक्सिस बँकेला (Axis Bank) होणार आहे. ठाणे महानगरपालिकेतील (TMC) सर्व कर्मचाऱ्यांची अॅक्सिस बँकेत खाती आहे. आता या बँकेतील खाती सरकारी बँकेमध्ये ताबडतोब वळवण्याचा निर्णय घेण्यात आला आहे. शिवसेनेचे महापौर नरेश म्हस्के यांनी आज एक तातडीची बैठक बोलावली होती. त्यामध्ये या निर्णय घेण्यात आला आहे.

मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस सत्तेत आल्यावर राज्यातील पोलिसांची वेतन खाती अॅक्सिस बँकेकडे वर्ग करण्यात आली होती. मात्र आता ही खाती राष्ट्रीयकृत बँकेत, स्टेट बँक ऑफ इंडियामध्ये वळवण्यात येणार असल्याची शक्यता आहे. याबाबत पहिला निर्णय ठाणे महानगरपालिकेने घेतला आहे. अॅक्सिस बँकेत सध्या ठाणे महानगपालिकेतील एलबीटीचे खाती, टॅक्स खाती आणि कर्मचाऱ्यांचे पगार अशी खाती सध्या अॅक्सिस बँकेत आहे. आता ही सर्व खाती राष्ट्रीयकृत बँकेत वळवण्यात येणार आहे.

दोन लाख पोलीस कर्मचाऱ्यांची वेतन खाती अॅक्सिस बँकेत आहेत. या खात्यामुळे बँकेत वर्षाला 11 हजार कोटींची उलाढाल होते. मात्र लवकरच बँकेला ही खाती गमवावी लागू शकतात. अमृता फडणवीस अॅक्सिस बँकेत वेस्टर्न इंडियाच्या कॉर्पोरेट हेड म्हणून काम करायच्या. यामुळेच ही सर्व खाती अॅक्सिस बँकेत वळवण्यात आली असल्याचा आरोप याआधी केला गेला होता. आता ठाणे महानगरपालिकेने पुढाकार घेऊन ही खाती राष्ट्रीयकृत बँकेत वळवण्याचा नर्णय घेतला आहे.

त्यामुळे त्यांच्या यादीत बिर्याणीला पहिले स्थान मिळाले आहे तर सर्वात जास्त ऑर्डसच्या दुसऱ्या स्थानावर आहे मसाला डोसा तर तिसऱ्य़ा स्थानावर आहे पनीर बटर मसाला हे पदार्थ. विशेष म्हणजे याच वर्षी नाही तर सलग मागील तीन वर्षांपासून सर्वात सर्वात आवडती डिश म्हणून चिकन बिर्यानीलाच सर्वात जास्त पसंती मिळालेली पाहायला मिळत आहे. तर स्विगीने जाहीर केलेल्या अहवालानुसार डेझर्ट म्हणजेच गोड पदार्थांमध्ये गुलाबजामला सर्वात जास्त पसंती मिळाली आहे आणि दुसऱ्या स्थानावर आहे फालुदा तर तिसऱ्या स्थानावर मूगडाळीचा हलवायला पसंती मिळाली.

पंतप्रधान ‘वय वंदन’ योजनेसाठी आधार कार्ड अनिवार्य, जाणून घ्या नियम

सरकारकडून जेष्ठ नागरिकांसाठी पेन्शन योजना सुरु करण्यात आली आहे. वय वंदन योजना असे त्याचे नाव असून जेष्ठ नागरिकांना पेन्शन दिली जाते. या योजनेची घोषणा 2017-18 आणि 2018-19 या वर्षात सादर करण्यात आलेल्या युनियन बजेट मध्ये करण्यात आली होती. योजनेअंतर्गत 8.8.83 टक्क्यांपर्यंत परतावा देते. मात्र व्यक्ती कोणत्या प्रकारची योजना निवडतो आणि योजनेचे कार्य एलआयसी अंतर्गत केले जात आहे.

आर्थमंत्रालयाकडून जाहीर करण्यात आलेल्या एका नोटिसनुसार, या योजनेचा लाभ घेण्यासाठी आधार कार्ड अनिवार्य असल्याचे स्पष्ट करण्यात आले आहे. 23 डिसेंबरला अधिसूचना जारी करत अधिनियम, 2016 अंतर्गत सांगण्यात आले आहे. वय वंदन योजनेचा लाभ घेण्यापूर्वी करण्यात येणाऱ्या रजिस्ट्रेशनच्या वेळी आधार कार्ड दाखवणे गरजेचे असणार आहे.

तसेच जर खराब बायोमेट्रिक किंवा अन्य कोणत्याही कारणामुळे आधार ऑथेंटिकेशन फेल झाल्यास त्यासाठी वेगळे मार्ग वापरले जाणार आहेत. त्यामध्ये इंटीग्रेटेड रिस्क इन्फोर्मेशन सिस्टिम किंवा फेस ऑथेंटिकेशन, आधार वन-टाइम पासवर्ड यांचा वापर केला जाणार आहे. सरकारने 4 मे 2017 मध्ये पंतप्रधान वय वंदन योजना लॉन्च केली होती. यामागील मुख्य कारण म्हणजे जेष्ठ नागरिकांना गुंतवणूकीसाठी अधिक ऑप्शन उपलब्ध करुन देत त्यांचे जीवन सुखरुप होणे होते.

2017 मध्ये लॉन्च करण्यात आलेल्या या योजनेअंतर्गत अधिकाधिक 7.5 लाखापर्यंत गुंतवणूक करण्याची सुविधा उपलब्ध करुन देण्यात आली होती. मात्र 2018-19 च्या आर्थिक संकल्पात याची रक्कम वाढवत 15 लाख करण्यात आली होती. वय वंदन योजनेत पैसे गुंतवणूक करण्यासाठी 31 मार्च 2020 पर्यंतची मुदत देऊन करण्यात आली आहे. यापूर्वी या योजनेत गुंतवणूक करण्यासाठी 3 मे 2018 पर्यंतचा कालावधी देण्यात आला होता.

कांद्याचे दोन भाग करुन त्याचा वास घेतल्यास नाक मोकळे होते. अथवा कांदा चिरल्याने डोळ्यातून आणि नाकातून पाणी येते. तसेच यामुळे नाकही मोकळे होते.

4. पुदिना

गरम पाण्यात पुदिन्याची पाने टाकून त्याची वाफ घेण्यानेही नाक मोकळे होते.

5. गरम पाण्याची आंघोळ

नाक चोंदण्याची समस्या असल्यास तुम्ही गरम पाण्याने आंघोळ करा. यामुळे नाक मोकळे होण्यास मदत होते.
