One-way traffic has been arranged on important roads in the Sitabirdi area to relieve traffic congestion on the highways of the city, while there has been a rule for single-lane parking at Ramdaspet. There will be no parking in some places. The traffic police branch has made these decisions. All traffic on the Sitabirdi Main Road from the Long Bridge to the Variety Chowk has been closed. This route will be open only from Varitya Chowk to Iron Pool. Apart from this, parking rules have been imposed on 13 routes in Ramdas. It will have no parking for all types of vehicles, from Pushpunj Apartments to Aditya Dental Care. Single-lane parking for two-wheelers, one-way car parking from Pushpakunj Apartments to Khara Bungalow, No parking for all vehicles from Indian Overseas Bank to Nook Apartments, Single-lane for all vehicles from Big Bazaar to Janata Chowk. Parking has been implemented. Apart from this, parking rules have been imposed on some other roads in Ramdas. Similar planks will be installed on these routes.

OCW is launching customer self-service platform & e-bill on email series
Almost over 50,000 water consumers prefer digital payment options -like online billing -to pay water bills these days. It was long pending demand of these consumers to issue them bill at their personal email id. Not only these 50, 000 consumers but over 3 lakh consumers can anytime check their water bills online and pay it too.
The consumer will receive a copy of the periodic water bill on their registered email address in PDF format on the next day morning of the bill date. Only thing is that receiving bill on the email address will be initiated after registration of Email Address and Mobile No of a consumer by themselves on OCW website www.ocwindia.com in “Consumer Corner” page.
Along with this, OCW has introduced a Consumer Self-service portal, a digital platform which will also provide the consumer with their personalized data, allow them to complete transactions, raise a query and also get to know the status of their complaint.
The consumer can also make an online payment and download receipt in PDF format. Further the portal will keep a record of last 6 cycles of a periodic water bill. Portal can be used by valid consumers only which are initiated after the process of registration. Registration is monitored by the verification process and OTP.

Along with Online Billing facility, NMC-OCW’s official mobile app ‘Nagpur Water‘ also allows consumers to avail NMC-OCW services at their fingertips. The mobile app is simple and easy to use and provides transparency in delivering services to consumers. along with the mobile application, consumers can take benefits of the most popular payment option PayTM services for consumers. The receipt of the payment will be provided by PayTM. The paid amount will be credited to consumers account in 24 hours.
Further, in a bid to increase cashless transactions, NMC-OCW has also introduced swipe machines in all zone offices. Consumers can swipe any Visa or Master debit or credit card to pay water bills. All transactions are without any additional charges to the consumers.
Further, along with zonal CCC’s counters NMC-OCW have started additional payment counters at various zones; Trimurti Nagar Water Tank (Laxmi Nagar zone), Dabha Water Tank (Dharampeth), Kharbi Water Tank (Nehru Nagar Zone), Shanti Nagar Water Tank (Satranjipura), and Subhan Nagar Water Tank (Lakadganj). Registration is allowed once. In case of correction, the consumer can contact the call centre over toll-free no.
