Rash speeding cost a young man his life close to Ram cooler square

Nagpur: Careless driving costs a young boy his life on Sunday morning near the ram cooler square. If sources are to be believed the dead at the scene recognized as the Rachit at 22 years of age in Khatikpura, Sadar.

He was driving his bike. He was carelessly riding the bike and dint wear helmet as well. He lost control of his bike at the front of the sweets place near the ram cooler square and stroked against a moped.

Because the bike’s velocity was erratic, the bike smashed into the road divider and got serious injuries. He died in the crash. The case has been registered by police near ram cooler square, Kotwali.

After this incident, one of the CCTV Footage has come into the light. CCTV Footage is showing that he was not following the traffic rule and also dint wear helmet. However, it is not sure the accident footage is of the same person who died at the ram cooler square. But this is not the matter which we want to highlight.

The matter of the fact that we have to think that despite several warnings of traffic police why we do not understand the value of our own life. These rules and policies are just for our safety.

Buzzing Korean, Spanish and French languages in the city

Nagpur: Apart from the popularity of Spanish and French, the love and enthusiasm for learning foreign languages are generating buzz in the region. People follow the trend of’ K-POP culture and participate in workshops on the Korean language conducted by young tutors in the area. Such workshops are conducted under the banner of’ Culture Fluent,’ a workshop station in the foreign language, founded by a young girl, Devyani Jaiswal.

After Std 10 Devyani began learning French. There were no schools which offered French or any other foreign language at that time. “I’ve been lucky to find a wonderful mentor who has turned my hobby into a passion. Today I hold a DELF B2 (Diplôme d’études en langue française) upper-intermediate certificate in French language studies, “she stated.

Rebecca Peter, a self-educated Korean language teacher, studied from the Internet the alphabet, vocabulary and grammar. She was intrigued by the Korean culture that came from the popularity of the Gangnam Style dance video, the BTS Army, a popular Korean band, etc. “Korean culture is peculiar and the most common explanation for many young people to learn the language is motivated by their culture’s authenticity,” she said.

Devyani has organized numerous workshops on language appreciation, which was a first for the region. “We explore culture and traditions and language-focused events in all our workshops so that people get an idea of what to expect when they start formally studying,” she said.

Many 16-23-year-old students take up languages as a way to broaden their horizons and improve their skills. Thus, young tutors offer a sense of comfort and bonhomie, the channels are opened for conversation. Gowrie Maiya, a medicine student shared her understanding of Korean culture through the language medium: “In these workshops, we were not only taught about the language, but also addressed various subjects such as history, grammar, fashion, and trends, which made it a fun learning experience for everyone.” That’s why I started attending language workshops. “Roshni John, an IT firm employee who is a big’ K-Pop’ fan, said,” I had a great sense of fascination with Korean culture and opted to learn Rebecca language. CR’s awareness campaign on cancer to generate revenue, too

Nagpur: The Central Railway (CR) division of Nagpur will earn Rs4 lakh annual revenue from tying up with the HCG-Nagpur Cancer Hospital and Research Institute (NCHRI) to raise awareness among its passengers about the disease. The joint effort kicked off on’ World Cancer Day’ on February 4.

CR and HCG-NCHRI’s new deal is this year’s 22nd in the group of’ innovative contracts.’ These have helped Rs47 lakh’s division earn revenue until February 15, which is India’s highest non-fare revenue earned by any division. It has studied many of the ideas that have been repeated by other divisions in the groundbreaking contracts of the Nagpur division, which support passengers and also add value to their journeys.

The e-lobby under construction in the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) building would also be the first kind of innovation in passenger amenities where ATM facilities, passbook printing and such other banking solutions would be available. “We’ll also have a fitness and wellness center or Rail Saloon on number one platform along with a free passenger gymnasium,” said SG Rao, assistant commercial manager (goods).

“This year, we’ve already added several first-time ideas to the Indian Railway, such as smart mobile-cum-luggage lockers, Punjab National Bank ATM mounted vehicles, health ATMs with blood and pressure testing facilities, and so on,” he said.

The posters for the cancer awareness drive would be visible on trains between Nagpur-Amla-Betul-Chindwara, the Nagpur-Rewa and Ajni-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus services. In the coaches the mirror glasses, toilets, doors, windows, and other places would have posters related to cancer. The rakes of the luggage were also allocated for campaign purposes.

Under DRM Somesh Kumar Shrivastav, commercial inspector Taraprasad Acharya and senior divisional business manager Krishnath Patil can be attributed the credit for the Nagpur division catapulting to the top slot in the non-fare revenue generation. “The success of the commercial team in the CR division of Nagpur has not only helped the railways in terms of revenue generation, but also has many revolutionary facilities for passengers to add value to their travel tickets,” Rao said.

Among the additional groundbreaking facilities are a rail nail art and mehndi center in the waiting hall for ladies, which was also opened in collaboration with a private company. “We’re also generating revenue through floor branding, loco branding, outsourcing bike packaging, 3D hologram show, and rolling stock advertising facilities,” Rao said.

8 Stalwarts Rajratna Puraskar honored

NAGPUR: The Rajratna Puraskar 2020 was conferred on Friday at Senior Bhonsala Palace, Mahal, to seven people for bringing laurels to Maharashtra in various fields through their extraordinary efforts.

The event took place in commemoration of Raje Raghuji Maharaj Bhonsale’s (first) death anniversary. It was organized jointly by Nagpur Trust’s Shrimant Raje Raghuji Maharaj Bhonsale (first) Bahuuddeshiya Memorial Foundation, and Maharaja.

The program was inaugurated by MLC Girish Vyas in the presence of the Bhonsale foundation president and the Raje Raghuji Maharaj Bhonsale chief guest for the evening. The role was presided over by Chhattisgarh Governor Anusuiya Uikey. The event’s convener, Rajratna Puruskar Samiti President Raje Mudhoji Bhonsale.

Noted actor, personality of the theater and Padma Vibhushan award winner Shivshahir Babasaheb Purandare was awarded the prize for his glorious work in the fields of history and literature.

The award for excellence in the field of journalism was awarded to Santosh Deshmukh of Sindkhed Raja. The award was given to the versatile Hindustani classical vocalist Tanuja Nafde for her contribution to the cultural sphere. Professor Sangita Tekade was awarded the prize for her featured theatre work while photojournalist Vilas Aglave was awarded the prize for his journalism contribution.

Krushna Prakash, IPS officer, Mumbai, who was unable to attend the programme, has been awarded for his sporting excellence. Aarya Kalamkar was awarded the under 18 prizes for dance and Sarvesh Peshkar for sport (karate).

Mudhoji Bhonsale said in his introductory remarks, “This banner was earlier named Vidarbha Gaurav Puraskar. We have decided to expand our horizons and honor people across the state so it has been rebranded as’ Rajratna Puruskar.’ We received 578 nomination proposals this year and the committee zeroed in on seven names.

“Speaking on the occasion, Vyas said,” It is a Herculean task in itself to select seven names to be honored among the almost 600 people who have done tremendous work in their respective fields. The courageous past of Raje Raghuji Maharaj Bhonsale unravels before us when an individual is awarded this honor.

“He urged the office bearers to build a library on the premises so that students can acquire knowledge about the Bhonsale legacy. Uikey said, “When recognition and congratulations are given to personalities engaged in positive activities, positivity increases in the society and people are inspired to do admirable work.” She congratulated all award winners.

नागपूर, ता. १६ : ‘व्हॅलेंटाईन डे’च्या पर्वावर नागपुरातील तरुणाईला आश्चर्याचा धक्का बसला. विवेकानंद स्मारक येथे माय हार्ट माय नागपूर असे इंग्रजीत लिहिलेल्या शब्दांचा ‘सेल्फी पॉईंट’ बघून तरुणाई सुखावली आणि त्या दिवशी सोशल मीडियावर ते ट्रेंडिंग झाले.

मात्र हा केवळ सेल्फी पॉईंट नसून यामागे काहीतरी दडले आहे. नेमके ते काय, याची घोषणा सोमवारी (ता.१७) महापौर संदीप जोशी तरुणाईच्या उपस्थितीत करणार आहेत. महापौर संदीप जोशी यांच्या प्रत्येक उपक्रमात नवे आणि काहीतरी अभिनव दडलेले असते. आता अचानक उभ्या केलेल्या या सेल्फी पॉईंटमागे नेमके काय लपले आहे, याबाबतची उत्सुकता तरुणाईमध्ये शिगेला पोचली आहे.

नागपूर:- अवघ्या जगभरात आपल्या आंबटगोड चवीसाठी प्रसिद्ध असलेली रसाळ नागपुरी संत्री दुबईला पोहचणार आहेत. नागपूरमार्गे नुकतीच गेलेल्या या संत्र्यांची मुंबईतील नवी वाशी येथून निर्यात करण्यात आली. ऑरेंज क्लस्टरच्या माध्यमातून करण्यात आलेली ही पहिलीच निर्यात आहे. यात एकूण पंधराशे क्रेट्स संत्र्यंचा समावेश आहे.

दुबईने नागपुरी संत्र्याला पसंती दर्शविली आहे. चवीने ‘युनिक’ नागपुरी संत्री आतापर्यंत बांगलादेश, श्रीलंकेत निर्यात व्हायची. फळांची मोठी बाजारपेठ समजल्या जाणाऱ्या दुबईतही नागपुरी संत्र्यांचा शिरकाव झाला आहे. कृषी आणि प्रसंस्कृत खाद्य उत्पादन निर्यात विकास प्राधिकरण (अपेडा) यांनी यासाठी नागपूर जिल्ह्यात संत्री क्लस्टर तयार केले आहे. या क्लस्टरच्या माध्यमातून झालेली ही पहिलीच निर्यात ठरली. नागपूर आणि आसपासच्या परिसरात संत्री दोन हंगामात होतात. ही संत्री निर्यातक्षम असल्याचे अनेक तज्ज्ञांनी यापूर्वी सांगितले आहे. त्यानुसार गेल्या काही वर्षांपासून सातत्याने वेगवेगळ्या देशांत संत्री पाठविण्याचा प्रयत्न होत आहे.

नवे पर्व ठरणार

काही वर्षांपूर्वी पंजाबची संत्री दुबईत दाखल झाली. ती आकार, रंगाने मोहक दिसतात. पण चवीला चांगली नसतात. त्या तुलनेत नागपुरी संत्री चवीला चांगली आहेत. नागपुरी संत्र्यांची चव हेच वैशिष्ट्य आहे, असा उत्पादकांचा दावा आहे. त्यामुळे दुबईला झालेली निर्यात नागपुरी संत्र्याच्या इतिहासात एक नवे पर्व ठरणार आहे.

नागपूर:- राज्यातील गरीब आणि गरजू जनतेला सवलतीच्या दरात जेवण उपलब्ध करून देण्यासाठी मुख्यमंत्री उद्धव ठाकरे यांच्या पुढाकारातून सुरू झालेल्या शिवभोजन थाळीचा लाभ नागपुरातील १४ हजारांपेक्षा अधिक नागरिकांनी घेतला आहे. नागपुरात आता दहा केंद्र सुरू असून दिवसाला ७५० थाळ्यांचे वितरण करण्यात येत आहे.

२६ जानेवारीपासून राज्यात शिवभोजन थाळीला सुरुवात झाली. नागपुरात सुरुवातीला नऊ केंद्रांवरून शिवभोजन थाळीचे वितरण करण्याचे नियोजन होते. डागा रुग्णालयात केंद्राला जागाच मिळाली नसल्याने रुग्णालयाच्या परिसरात दोन वेगवेगळ्या ठिकाणी केंद्र सुरू करण्यात आले. त्यामुळे नागपुरात एकूण दहा केंद्र सुरू असून प्रत्येक केंद्रावरून ७५ थाळी अशा १० केंद्रांवरून ७५० थाळ्यांचे वितरण करण्यात येत आहे.

प्रत्येक नागरिकाला १० रुपयांत ४१० ग्रॅमचे भोजन मिळावे, असा नियम असून प्रशासनाकडून थाळीवर वॉच ठेवण्यात येत आहे. ९ फेब्रुवारीपर्यंत ९ हजार १३ थाळ्यांचे वितरण करण्यात आले. ५० रुपयांची थाळी नागरिकांना १० रुपयांत उपलब्ध करून देण्यात येत आहे. केंद्रचालकांना उर्वरित पैसा शासनाकडून प्राप्त होत आहे. नागपुरातील दहा केंद्रचालकांच्या खात्यात अनुदानाचे ९ हजार १३ रुपये खासनाने जमा केले आहेत. प्रत्येक महिन्याच्या १० तारखेला थाळीनुसार केंद्रचालकांना त्याचे अनुदान मिळणार आहे. १५ फेब्रुवारीपर्यंत १४ हजार २६३ थाळ्यांचे वितरण करण्यात आले.

राज्यात दरदिवशीच्या थाळ्यांच्या संख्येत वाढ होताना दिसत आहे. पहिल्या दिवशीची ११,३०० थाळ्यांची संख्या आता १४,६३९वर पोहोचली आहे. या योजनेत राज्यात १३९ शिवभोजन केंद्र सुरू झाली आहेत.

१७ दिवसांच्या काळात राज्यात २ लाख ३३ हजार ७३८ नागरिकांनी शिवभोजन थाळीचा आस्वाद घेतला आहे. नागपूर जिल्ह्यासाठी दिवसाला ७५० थाळ्या वितरित करण्यात येत असून, गुणवत्तेचे निकष पूर्ण करणाऱ्या केंद्रांची यासाठी निवड करण्यात आली आहे.

नागपूर १५: आज ‘इंटरनॅशनल चाइल्डहूड कॅन्सर अवेअरनेस डे’ आहे त्यानिमित्ताने तुकडोजी पुतळा चौकातील शासकीय वैद्यकीय महाविद्यालयाच्या कँसर हॉस्पिटलमधील ३० मुलांनी नागपूर मेट्रोच्या एक्वा मार्गिकेवर सीताबर्डी ते लोकमान्य नगर आणि तेथून परतीचा प्रवास करीत मेट्रो सफरीचा आनंद घेतला. ‘कॅन किड्स-किड्स कॅन’ संस्थेच्या मदतीने हा दौरा आयोजित करण्यात आला होता.

नागपूर मेट्रो सुरु झाल्यापासून मेट्रो सफर करण्याची प्रचंड जिज्ञासा नागरिकांमध्ये दिसत आहे, त्या अनुषंगाने या मार्गिकेवर दिवसेंदिवस गर्दीही वाढते आहे. व्यावसायिक प्रवासी सेवा सुरु असतांनाच शासकीय वैद्यकीय महाविद्यालयाच्या कँसर हॉस्पिटलमध्ये उपचार घेत असलेल्या चिमुकल्यांची मेट्रो सफारीची इच्छा पूर्ण करण्यासाठी येथील सेवा निवृत्त डॉक्टर कृष्णा कांबळे आणि ‘कॅन किड्स-किड्स कॅन’ या सेवाभावी संस्थेच्या पुढाकाराने ३० कँसर पीडित मुले आणि त्यांचे पालक अश्या ६० जणांची विशेष सफर महा मेट्रोने आयोजित केली होती.

कॅन्सर सारख्या दुर्धर आजारापासून मोठमोठ्यांना वैताग येतो त्याचे उपचार अत्यंत कठीण असतात. वर्षानुवर्षे उपचार चालू असल्याने या रोगाचा पेशंट त्रासून जातो. हि मोठ्यांची अवस्था असतांना २ वर्षांपासून १६ वर्षांपर्यंतच्या चिमुकल्यांचे काय होत असेल. घोडेले परिवारातील धनुष्य हा ३ वर्षाचा मुलगा आणि त्याचीच सक्खी बहीण जान्हवी ५ वर्षांची दोघांनाही डोळ्यांचा कँसर असल्याचे कळले तेव्हा या परिवारावर दुःखाचा कुठला डोंगर कोसळला असेल ह्याची कल्पनाही करवत नाही. हि दोन्ही चिमुकली आई-बाबांचा हात धरून मेट्रो राईड साठी आले होते. पूर्व पराठे या ११ वर्षाच्या अत्यंत हुशार चुणचुणीत चिमुरडीला २ वर्षाआधी फायब्रॉईडचा कॅन्सर असल्याचे समजले खडतर परिस्थितून उपचार घेऊन ती आज पूर्णपणे बारी होण्याच्या मार्गावर आहे परंतु पुढे अनेक वर्ष तिला हे उपचार चालू ठेवावे लागणार आहे.

प्रवासादरम्यान ह्या चिमुरडीने नागपूर मेट्रो बद्दलची संपूर्ण माहिती इतरांना ठणठणीत आवाजात करून दिली. विजया खेर्डेकर या द्वितीय वर्षाच्या महाविद्यालयीन विद्यार्थिनीला ओव्हरीचा कॅन्सर होता त्यानं शिक्षणावर परिणाम झाला ह्याचे तिला वैषम्य आहे. काहीतरी करून दाखवायचे आहे हि जिद्द तिच्या बोलण्यातून जाणवत होती. ह्याच सफरीवर आलेले आणखी बरीच ४ ते ७ वर्षाआतील मुलं ब्लड कॅन्सरला लढा देत असल्याचे डॉक्टर आणि संस्थेच्या लोकांनी सांगितले. आयुष्याने अश्या कठीण प्रसंगावर आणून उभे केल्यावर आयुष्याशी दोन दोन हात केल्याशिवाय उपाय नसतो. अश्यावेळी या चिमुकल्यांना छोट्या छोट्या गोष्टीतून मिळणारा आनंदही फार महत्वाचा असतो. हाच आनंद त्यांना मिळावा म्हणून नागपूर मेट्रोचा सफर ह्यांना घडवण्यात आला. हा सफर करीत असतांना तोंडावर मास्क घातलेली मुले देखील स्मित करीत होती त्यांच्या डोळ्यातून त्यांचा आनंद ओसंडून वाहत असल्याचे स्पष्ट दिसत होते. एलिव्हेटेड पुलावरून अंबाझरी भागातून मेट्रो जात असतांना खिडकीतून दिसणारा तलाव आणि वन परिसर मुलांनी अतिशय उत्सुकतेने न्याहाळला. यावेळी त्यांचा उत्साह वाखाणण्याजोगा होता. यावेळी गगन भरारी बहुउद्देशीय सामाजिक संस्थेची मदत लाभली, कविता पाटील, वर्षा वासनिक, अरुणा ताकसांडे, वर्षा पाटील आणि आशिष खडके ह्यांचे सहकार्य लाभले.

नागपुर भंडारा रोड़ NH -53 पर भयंकर बस ट्रक भिड़ंत 2 लोगों की मौके पर ही मौत

नागपुर : आज सुबह तड़के लगभग 5 बजे नागपुर भंडारा रोड़ पर भयंकर बस ट्रक भिड़ंत हो गई। मिली जानकारी के अनुसार कंटेनर से भरे ट्रक में बस अनियंत्रित हो कर जा घुसी। दरसअल हादसा सिंगोरी फांटा रोड़ एनएच 53 पर हुआ। बस में बैठे लोग एक शादी समारोह से लौट रहे थे। अचानक से बस रोड़ पर खड़े कंटेनर से टकरा गई ।

2 यात्रियों की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई जबकि 2 यात्रियों ने भंडारा हॉस्पिटल में दम तोड़ दिया। बाकी सभी घायल यात्री हॉस्पिटल में भर्ती है। बताया जा रहा है पुलिस ने सभी यात्रियों के रिश्तेदारों को घटना की खबर दे दी है।

हादसे में बस का अगला हिस्सा काफी क्षतिग्रस्त होगया है। फिलहाल की स्तिथि में भंडारा रोड़ पर ट्रैफिक की स्तिथि सामान्य है।

बॉम्बे हाई कोर्ट के वरिष्ठम न्यायाधीश सत्यरंजन ने दिया अपने पद से त्यागपत्र

मुंबई: बॉम्बे हाईकोर्ट के जाने माने न्यायधीश जस्टिस सत्यरंजन धर्माधिकारी ने 14 फरवरी 2020 को अपना त्यागपत्र राष्ट्रपति को भेज दिया था। हालाकि राष्ट्रपति द्वारा इस्तीफा मंजूर हुआ है या नहीं इस बात का कुछ पता नहीं चल पाया है।

उनके इस कदम से कानून और वकालत जगत के सभी लोग हैरान है। ऐसा बताया जा रहा है के जस्टिस सत्यरंजन धर्माधिकारी किसी निजी कारण की वजह से महाराष्ट्र छोड़ना नहीं चाह रहे है।

इसलिए उन्होंने अपने पद से त्यागपत्र दे दिया। ऐसा अनुमान लगाया जा रहा है के वो अपने तबादले से नाखुश थे।

जस्टिस सत्यरंजन धर्माधिकारी दूसरे वरिष्ठतम न्यायधीश रह चुके हैं । जानने योग्य बात यह है के जस्टिस सत्यरंजन धर्माधिकारी की पारिवारिक पृष्ठभूमि भी वाकलत क्षेत्र की ही है।

जस्टिस सत्यरंजन ने एक वकील के तौर पर 1983 में शुरुआत की थी। जस्टिस सत्यरंजन को बॉम्बे हाई कोर्ट का न्यायाधीश सन 2003 में बनाया गया था।सन 2022 में जस्टिस धर्माधिकारी रिटायर होने वाले थे।
