नागपुरकरांना चांगल्या सोयी-सुविधा देण्याच्या दृष्टीने नागपूर स्मार्ट अँड सस्टेनेबल सिटी डेव्हलपमेंट कॉर्पोरेशन लिमिटेड (एनएसएससीडीसीएल)च्या कामाचा आढावा घेताना मनपा आयुक्त तथा स्मार्ट सिटीचे मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी तुकाराम मुंढे यांनी नागपूर शहराला ‘स्मार्ट’करण्याचे दृष्टीने वाटचाल करण्याचे निर्देश संबंधितांना दिले.

आयुक्तांनी बुधवारी (ता.१८) सकाळी नागपूर स्मार्ट सिटीच्या कार्याचा आढावा घेतला. बैठकीत एनएसएससीडीसीएल चे उपमुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी महेश मोरोणे यांच्यासह स्मार्ट सिटीचे सर्व अधिकारी उपस्थित होते.

नागपूर शहर स्मार्ट करण्याचे व्‍हिजन त्यांनी यावेळी मांडले. ते म्हणाले, संपूर्ण शहरात वाढत्या वाहनांच्या दृष्टीने मल्टी लेव्हल कार पार्कींगची व्यवस्था करणे अत्यंत आवश्यक आहे. यासाठी शहराच्या विविध भागांतील पार्कींगच्या आरक्षणाचा अभ्यास करून विस्तृत अहवाल तयार करण्याचेही निर्देश आयुक्त तुकाराम मुंढे यांनी दिले. शहरात पर्यावरणपूरक वाहतूक व्यवस्था तयार करण्यासाठी पब्लिक बाईक शेअरींग सिस्टीम सुरू करण्यात यावी. ही संपूर्ण प्रणाली मोबाईल ॲपवर असावी ज्यामुळे नागरिकांना सुलभ आणि सुविधेचे होईल. यासंबंधीची प्रक्रिया तातडीने तयार करण्याचे त्यांनी निर्देशित केले.

याशिवाय शहरातील बाजार भागांचा विकास करण्याची गरज आहे. शहरातील ५ बाजार भाग विकसीत करण्याबाबत लवकरात लवकर अहवाल तयार करण्यात यावे. शहरात स्मार्ट सिटी प्रकल्पाअंतर्गत मनपाच्या शहर बस स्थानकावर स्मार्ट किऑक्स लावण्यात आले आहेत. या किऑक्सवर ५० प्रकारच्या नागरी सुविधा तातडीने सुरू करण्यात यावेत. यासंबंधी कार्यवाही करण्याचे मनपा आयुक्तांनी निर्देश दिले.

स्मार्ट सिटी प्रकल्पाअंतर्गत पारडी, भरतवाडा, पुनापूर येथे काम सुरू आहेत. ही सर्व कामे वेळेवर पूर्ण होणे आवश्यक असून सर्व कामांना गती देण्याचेही त्यांनी निर्देशित केली. यावेळी त्यांनी बायोमायनिंग प्रकल्पावरही चर्चा केली. सदर प्रकल्पाची निविदा प्रक्रिया लवकरात लवकर सुरू करण्याचेही आयुक्त तुकाराम मुंढे यांनी सांगितले.

नागपूर महानगरपालिकेचा अर्थसंकल्प सादर करताना त्यामध्ये ‘फ्यूचर सिटी’ ची संकल्पना मांडण्यात आली आहे. म.न.पा. आयुक्त यांनी स्मार्ट सिटीच्या फायदा संपूर्ण शहराला कसा होऊ शकते याबद्दल प्रयत्न करण्याची आवश्यकता असल्याचे संबंधितांना सांगितले.

Nagpur updates: Now Nagpur Municipal Corporation and Orange City Water (OCW) have decided to clean some remaining ESR’s from all areas after the completion of ESR cleaning in other areas. In this bid, NMC-OCW intends on March 19 (Thursday) to clean up Trimurti Nagar ESR.

Areas to be affected are:

Trimurti Nagar ESR:- Entire sonegaon district, Pannase Layout, Indraprasth Nagar, Manish Layout, Sahakar Nagar, Gajanandham, Vijaya Society, Mamta Society, Samarth Nagri, H.B Estate, Meghdoot Villa, Wahane Layout, CGHS colony, Swagat Society, Prasad Society, Paradise Society, Shivshakti Layout, Patil Layout, Amar Asha Society and Bhamit, Bhoge Layou Society.

NMC-OCW appealed to people from affected areas of the ESR to store enough water for use. Water supply via tankers would also not be possible in affected areas. It sincerely regrets the inconvenience caused.

Nagpur updates:- Continued action against illegal restaurants by the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) On Tuesday, the action was taken against four restaurants at Bhagwagar Layout, Dharampeth.

NMC’s compliance department and Dharampeth Zone team demolished sheds, seating facilities, and four restaurant kitchens sprang up in building parking lots.

According to NMC’s press release, the action was taken against the restaurants Sandwich Factory-Tadka, Pasta Fresca, Uptown Café Lounge and Firangish Café and Courtyard.

A few days ago the NMC demolished a bar and restaurant rooftop restaurant at Takli Sim and hotel in Sitabuldi.

Many restaurants in suburban areas have sprung up. A few suburban bungalows in various parts of town have been turned into lounges. Such restaurants pose a threat of fire accidents, in addition to building violations. Yet, the NMC has been turning a blind eye to those abuses.

Nagpur: On Monday, the flying squad of Nagpur Municipal Corporation’s Transport Department (NMC) busted a group of city bus drivers passing information on the ticket-checker movement. Later that day, all 10 drivers in the’ system’ were dismissed from service, as ordered by Narendra alias Balya Borkar, Chairman of the Committee on Transport.

On Monday, NMC Transport Department’s flying squad got a tip-off that city bus driver number 6144 was part of a ‘setup’. In conjunction with the city bus service, the term ‘ setup’ is used for the group of drivers and working and retired workers who transfer details on to each other to prevent ticket checker action.

The flying squad accompanied the one-and-a-half-hour Babulkheda-Sitabuldi bus and stopped underneath the Nanda Fata bridge. The bus conductor Sachin Kapse (ID no 70501) tried to cover his mobile phone handset during the search.

The cell phone handset was confiscated by the flying squad. NMC flying squad led by Sunil N Shukla and consisting of Kishor Wawurkar, Arun Mendhe, Girish Mahajan, and Gaurav Meshram found that some other city bus drivers often named Kapse. NMC squad engaged in a conversation via messaging from the confiscated cell phone handset to other conductors.

Eventually, they came to learn that the drivers exchanged details about the ticket-checker route and movement. Accordingly, nine other bus drivers were named, apart from Kapse, as Ankush Rathod (ID no 70604), Vilas Bhondekar (70602), Sudhir Ganorkar (70840), Sarfaraz (70231), Dinesh Landge (70508), Sanjay Chonde (70811), Rahul Bagde (70024), Mohan Sonkusare (70177), and Rakesh Meshram (70566). According to a statement released on Monday evening by Narendra alias Balya Borkar, all these 10 city bus drivers have been dismissed from the operation.

“Similar action by flying squad will proceed on a regular basis and those workers in the city bus will be immediately dismissed from service,” he said.

‘कोरोना’ विषाणूचा वाढता प्रसार बघता नागपूर महानगर पालिकेतर्फे संचालित ‘आपली बस’ मध्येही खबरदारीचा उपाय करण्यात येत आहे.

यासंदर्भात परिवहन सभापती नरेंद्र (बाल्या बोरकर) यांनी दिलेल्या माहितीनुसार, आपली बस हे सार्वजनिक वाहतूक व्यवस्थेचे माध्यम आहे. यामध्ये अनेक प्रवासी असतात. या प्रवाशांनी कोरोनाचा संसर्ग होऊ नये म्हणून काय काळजी घ्यावी, याची माहिती देणारे पत्रके बसच्या दर्शनी भागात लावण्यात येत आहे. खबरदारी म्हणून पहाटे ४ ते ६ आणि दुपारी २ ते ४ या वेळेत सुमारे ३६५ बसेसमध्ये ३५ कर्मचाऱ्यांच्या माध्यमातून औषधांची फवारणी करण्यात येत आहे. बसमधील चालक आणि वाहक यांना मास्कचा वापर करण्याच्या सूचना देण्यात आला आहे.
कोरोनावर काळजी हाच उपाय असून कुणालाही घाबरण्याची गरज नाही. शासन निर्देश आणि वैद्यकीय अधिकाऱ्यानी दिलेल्या सूचनेनुसार नागरिकांनी काळजी घ्यावी, असे आवाहनही त्यांनी केले.

Setting a precedent, Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has levied a Rs 5000 fine on Ravi Bhavan officials for lack of cleanliness and encroachment under the NMC Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe’s directives.

On Friday, an NMC search team reached Ravi Bhavan and fined managers up to Rs 5,000 for the impurity and stench found in the area. The squad, headed by Mundhe, took the action along with investigation team leader Virasan Tambe.

As per NMC, “The garbage was lying outside even when there was a trash can. Lying on the field were plastic bottles, forest wastes. The impurity was found near the water cooler, too. Despite repeated calls for cleanliness in the area of government buildings, NMC has now levied a Rs 5000 fine. Everywhere this gesture is widely appreciated.

It was more than two years before today’s Kamala Mill fire and the deaths of 14 people in the mishap are still remembered by all in the region. The NMC has now been involved against all the non-complaint premises in the area. So, about 22 rooftops restaurants in Nagpur have been deemed unsafe as fire for the city’s fire safety and maintenance department. The civic body has begun inspecting all commercial buildings in the city and has now begun to take action against those who remain uncomplaining.

According to the Fire and Safety Department’s guidelines, they requested the city’s commercial buildings to adhere to the standards set out in the Safety Measures Act 2006. This isn’t the first time restaurants have been aimed at the commercial building and the terrace. They too were done earlier and the notices were released but only a few adhered to it.

According to reports from the Maha Regional and Town Planning department, a number of the rooftop restaurants were run along with the commercial buildings over the terraces and hotels. Such regulations further audit the fire department to have all the city’s 22 rooftops to have the systems immediately face-the-music based. Some of the restaurants located alongside Sadar, Koradi Road and others in areas such as Amravati Road, Wardha Road, Sitabuldi and Manish Nagar have faced this problem.

नागपूर महानगरपालिकेद्वारे आनंद पूर्ती बाजार ते भेंडे लेआउट चौक पर्यंत सीमेंट रस्त्याचे बांधकाम करण्यात येणार आहे. त्यामुळे या मार्गावरील डाव्‍या बाजूची वाहतूक ५ मार्च ते ५ मे २०२० या कालावधीमध्ये बंद राहिल. सदर मार्गावरील वाहतूक उजव्‍या बाजूने दुतर्फा व लगतच्या रस्त्यावरून वळविण्यात येईल.

विहीत कालावधीमध्ये सीमेंट रस्त्याचे बांधकाम करताना संबंधित कंत्राटदार व कार्यकारी अभियंता यांनी कामाच्या ठिकाणी सुचना फलक, काम सुरू केल्याची व पूर्ण झाल्याची दिनांक असलेले बोर्ड लावावे. पर्यायी मार्ग सुरू होत असलेल्या ठिकाणी दोन्ही टोकावर, बॅरीकेट्स जवळ, रोडवर सुरक्षा रक्षक किंवा स्वयंसेवक नेमावे. वाहतूक सुरक्षा रक्षक, वाहतूक चिन्हाचे फलक, कोन्स, बॅरिकेट्स दोरी रिफलेक्टिव्ह जॅकेट्स, एल.ई.डी. बॅटन, ब्लिकर्स आदी साहित्य उपलब्ध करून देणे.

रस्ता बांधकामादरम्यान खोदकामात काढण्यात येणारा मलबा रस्त्यावर टाकू नये. कामादरम्यान पर्यायी मार्गावर मिर्माण होणारे खड्डे तात्काळ बुजविणे. पर्यायी मार्ग सुरू होण्याच्या ठिकाणी व बांधकाम करण्यात येणा-या मार्गाच्या बाजूला वळण मार्गाचे फलक लावण्यात यावे.

रात्रीच्या वेळी एल.ई.डी. वळण फलक लावणे, बॅरिकेटींगवर एल.ई.डी. माळ लावणे आवश्यक आहे. उजव्या बाजूने दुतर्फा वाहतूक चालणार असल्याने रस्त्यावर अस्थायी दुभाजक तयार करून वाहतूक दुतर्फा वळविण्यात यावी. अनुचित प्रकारास कंत्राटदार जबाबदार राहिल.

वाहतूक नियमांचे तसेच वाहतूक पोलिसांनी दिलेल्या दिशा निर्देशाचे पालन करावे. रस्त्यावरील दुतर्फा रहिवासी किंवा कार्यालय असलेल्या नागरिकांच्या सोयीकरीता आवश्यक व्यवहार्य व्यवस्था उपलब्ध करून द्यावी, अशा सूचना आयुक्त तुकाराम मुंढे यांनी दिल्या आहेत.
