More than 1L RSS people help 10L families overcome lockout woes

Nagpur: City-based Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), which is always at the forefront of helping the vulnerable in natural or man-made disasters across the world, has pressed its huge volunteer base to provide relief to the poor, vulnerable and migrants in the wake of mega-crisis due to the nationwide coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

According to RSS sahakaryawah Suresh (Bhaiyyaji) Joshi, more than one lakh Sangh volunteer works in around 10,000 villages throughout the world, providing food and other basic things for the disadvantaged. Through helping them meet hospitals, they also encourage medical assistance to villagers.

“We are living through an extraordinary situation here today. This disaster, which is one of the biggest challenges human beings have ever encountered, shakes the whole planet. The only remedy to stay away from this lethal virus is to closely follow guidelines such as government and doctors gave social distancing. So far, our activists have touched around 10 lakh families to support them out in one way or the other,” he added.

“If and when the need occurs, more of our volunteers will step forward and provide selfless support to the country. Throughout Maharashtra, they have met migrants throughout various areas and arranged for their families to feed and drink. About 1,000 of them gave blood, too, “Joshi added.

Expressing trust that spread of the deadly virus should come under control and restore normalcy, he urged citizens to start practising vigilance throughout the time of lockdown.

“We all need to come up with a consensus that we will abide by all of the diktats along with laws and regulations as ordered by the government to move away from this tragedy. There can be no set parameters for what kind of support will be needed in the present scenario. We will always be able to support anyone under any situation we may, “he told activists.

Asserting that citizens in general have acknowledged the commitment of the saffron organization to the country through these calamities, Joshi urged people to participate in this noble mission.

“We can’t gage the severity of this situation at the moment, but we will all come together with determination, commitment and hard work to battle the scourge. If we address this topic unitedly, it will help get the question solved early. We will both strive together to assist one another over the next two weeks. They will need to raise consciousness in this battle against the unseen adversary and include all members of society, “he added.

लॉकडाऊन’ची मर्यादा ठरविणे नागरिकांच्या हाती

नागपूर, दि. 15 : कोरोना’च्या पार्श्वभूमीवर सुरू असलेल्या ‘लॉकडाऊन’मुळे नागरिकांचेच नव्हे तर संपूर्ण राज्याचे आणि देशाचे आर्थिक नुकसान होत आहे. मात्र, नागरिकांचे जीव वाचविण्यासाठी आणि कोरोनाची साखळी तोडण्यासाठी ते आवश्यक आहे. त्यामुळे लॉकडाऊनच्या काळात नागरिकांनी घरातच राहावे. सोशल डिस्टंसिंग पाळावे. घरात प्रवेश केल्यावर हात साबणाने स्वच्छ धुवावे. इतके जरी केले तरी ‘कोरोना’विरुद्धचे युद्ध नक्की जिंकता येईल. फक्त हे युद्ध किती दिवसांत जिंकायचे हे नागरिकांच्या हातात असून शासनाचे निर्देश पाळा. लॉकडाऊनचे काटेकोरपणे पालन करा, असे आवाहन जिल्हाधिकारी रवींद्र ठाकरे यांनी केले.
 

 

 
            कोरोनाच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर जिल्हा प्रशासनाची भूमिका मांडण्यासाठी आणि नागरिकांच्या प्रश्नांना उत्तरे देण्यासाठी जिल्हाधिकारी रवींद्र ठाकरे यांनी बुधवारी (ता.15) ‘फेसबुक लाईव्ह’च्या माध्यमातून जनतेशी संवाद साधला. यावेळी नागरिकांच्या प्रश्नांना उत्तरे देताना ते बोलत होते. लॉकडाऊनचा कालावधी पुन्हा वाढणार काय, 20 एप्रिलनंतर दुकाने सुरु होतील काय, ग्रामीण भागात असलेल्या एम.आय.डी.सी. मधील उद्योग सुरु होतील का, या प्रश्नाच्या उत्तरात ते म्हणाले, लॉकडाऊनची मर्यादा कमी करणे अथवा वाढविणे हे नागरिकांच्या हातात आहे. लॉकडाऊनचे पालन झाले तर कोरोनाची साखळी तुटेल आणि रुग्णांच्या वाढत्या संख्येवर आळा बसेल. केंद्र शासनाच्या आज नव्या मार्गदर्शक सूचना आल्या आहेत. त्यानुसार 19 एप्रिलपर्यंत परिस्थितीचे अवलोकन केले जाईल. परिस्थिती आटोक्यात असली तर काही गोष्टींमध्ये शिथिलता देता येईल. त्यामुळे याबाबतचा निर्णय हा 20 एप्रिल रोजी असलेल्या परिस्थितीवर आधारीत राहील.
            बाहेरगावी अडकलेल्या व्यक्तींना आपल्या शहरात जाता येईल का, या प्रश्नाच्या उत्तरात ते म्हणाले, कोरोनाची साखळी तोडण्यासाठी स्वत:ला आहे त्या ठिकाणीच ठेवणे, हे कोरोनाविरुद्धच्या लढाईत सर्वात मोठे शस्त्र आहे. त्यामुळे आहे तेथेच राहा. तेथे काही अडचणी येत असेल तर स्थानिक प्रशासन नक्कीच मदत करेल, असा विश्वास त्यांनी दिला.
            ग्रामीण भागात शिरकाव होऊ नये यादृष्टीने प्रशासनाने उपाययोजना केलेल्या आहे. मात्र त्यापेक्षाही चांग़ली बाब अशी की अनेक गावांच्या सीमा गावकऱ्यांनी स्वत: सील केल्या आहेत. भविष्यात जर ग्रामीण भागात कोरोनाचा प्रादुर्भाव झाला तर त्याचा सामना करण्यासाठी प्रशासन पूर्णपणे सज्ज आहे, असेही ते म्हणाले. नागपूर शहरात ज्या-ज्या भागात कोरोना पॉझिटिव्ह आढळले, त्या भागातील सुमारे तीन किलोमीटर परिघाचा परिसर सील करण्यात आला आहे.
       लॉकडाऊनदरम्यान निराधार ज्येष्ठ नागरिक, गरजू व्यक्ती, दिव्यांगांना त्रास होऊ नये, यासाठी स्थानिक प्रशासन समाजसेवी संस्थांच्या मदतीने त्यांच्यापर्यंत भोजन, दैनंदिन आवश्यकतेचे सामान पोहचवित आहेत. दररोज सुमारे 65-70 हजार लोकांपर्यंत मदत पोहचविली जात आहे. रस्त्यावर भटकंती करणारे, बेघर लोकांनासुद्धा मनपाने उभारलेल्या बेघर निवाऱ्यात ठेवण्यात आले असून तेथे त्यांच्या आरोग्याची काळजी घेतली जात आहे आणि त्यांनी चहा, नाश्ता, भोजन पुरविले जात असल्याचे त्यांनी सांगितले.
            नागरिकांना ज्या-ज्या समस्या आहेत, त्यांचे प्रश्न आहेत, त्यांना मदत हवी आहे, यासाठी जिल्हाधिकारी कार्यालय आणि नागपूर महानगरपालिका येथे नियंत्रण कक्ष आहे. ते क्रमांक वेळोवेळी विविध माध्यमातून लोकांपर्यंत पोहचविले आहेत. त्या क्रमांकावर फोन करून नागरिक आपल्या शंकांचे समाधान करू शकतात.
            कोरोना हे देशावर आलेले मोठे संकट आहे. त्याचा सामना सर्वांनी एकत्रित येऊन करायचा आहे. हे पहिले असे युद्ध आहे ज्यात या देशातील प्रत्येक व्यक्ती योद्धा आहे आणि घरात बसून हे युद्ध लढायचे आहे. त्यामुळे प्रत्येकाने योद्धा बनून ही लढाई जिंकायची आहे. तेव्हा सावध राहा, सुरक्षित राहा, घरी राहा आणि कोरोनावर विजय मिळवा, असे आवाहन जिल्हाधिकारी रवींद्र ठाकरे यांनी केले.

Lockdown love: City girl gets engaged on video call

Nagpur: Only a distance of more than 1000 kilometers and a national lockdown couldn’t stop two lovebirds maintaining their solemn pledge of engaging on the pre-decided April 12 date. Nagpurian Neha Sharma and her fiance from Delhi, Utkarsh Bansal, took a video call to WhatsApp, with families in tow, and exchanged rings and promises that would last them for a lifetime.

Had it not been for the lockout, 25-year-old Neha would have been decked up for the engagement party scheduled at a city hotel and attended by friends and relatives in a stunning beige gown.

“My fiance was expected to arrive with his family from Delhi on April 10, and so on that particular day I felt dreary,” Neha said. “And my want to be mother-in-law cheered me up saying I’ve got to wear the engagement dress on April 12 and join the video call. I took it lightly at the time since I thought it was supposed to merely cheer up my mood, “she said.

Sunday came and while Neha and Utkarsh spoke on the phone, a re-engagement wasn’t even mentioned as both were upset not just about missing out on the event but also about the continued confusion. “It was nearly 11.30 pm when I eventually agreed to wear my engagement dress, after which I made the video call,” Neha said.

Her fiance floored by what he had seen. “She looked really beautiful in that dress and I was speechless. My mum told me to dress properly as well. After that, all happened really quickly,’ Utkarsh said. Early enough to complete the ceremony they ‘exchanged’ rings on the video call.

Neha laughed saying, “I wore his ring and he wore mine and it was an incredible feeling.” A romantic side of an otherwise reserved Utkarsh took the atmosphere to the fore. “Never mind if we’re too far apart, he said we’ll always be together and all that,” Neha gushed. This was as nice as it could have given the current situation, with both families present during the e-ceremony.

The young couple will have to wait some time until the solemnization of their arranged marriage. Utkarsh said, “The last time we met for the roka ceremony was January 22. In March she was scheduled to come to Delhi but travel restrictions had been in place by then. Marriage is scheduled for May 19 in Delhi with the same week’s reception in Nagpur. “These dates can now be extended as well.

Last learned, the couple committed to social distancing with a strong conviction that isolation causes the heart to develop into a foundry.

कोरोनाचा वाढता संसर्ग लक्षात घेता लॉकडाउनचा कालावधी वाढविण्यात आला आहे. त्यामुळे नागरिकांनीही विशेष खबरदारी घेत घराबाहेर पडणे टाळावे. नागरिकांना दैनंदिन जीवनावश्यक वस्तू घरपोच मिळाव्यात यासाठी मनपातर्फे आवश्यक सर्व प्रयत्न केले जात आहेत. त्याचाच एक भाग म्हणजे दुकानदार आणि ग्राहक या दोघांच्याही सुरक्षेच्या दृष्टीने दोन विशेष ॲप तयार करण्यात आले आहेत.

लॉकडाउनमध्ये जीवनावश्यक वस्तू घरपोच मिळण्यासाठी आयुक्त तुकाराम मुंढे यांच्या संकल्पनेतून व ग्लोबल लॉजिक व नीती या कंपनीच्या पुढाकारातून ग्राहकांसाठी ‘फार्म टू होम’ (Farm to Home) हे विशेष ॲप तयार करण्यात आले आहे. याशिवाय दुकानातील उपलब्ध वस्तूंच्या साठ्याच्या नोंदणी व पुरवठ्यासाठी दुकानदार किंवा सेवा पुरवठादार यांच्याकरिता ‘बास्केट ओनर’ (Basket Owner) हे सुद्धा ॲप तयार करण्यात आले आहे.

ग्राहकांसाठीच्या ‘फार्म टू होम’ या ॲपद्वारे दुकानामध्ये उपलब्ध वस्तूंचा साठा आणि त्याच्या किंमती लक्षात घेउन ग्राहकांना आपली मागणी नोंदविता येईल. त्यानुसार आवश्यक वस्तूंचा घरपोच पुरवठा करण्यात येईल.

‘बास्केट ओनर’ हे ॲप दुकानदार किंवा सेवा पुरवठादारांकरीता तयार करण्यात आले आहे. यासाठी आधी दुकानदार किंवा सेवा पुरवठादारांना आवश्यक माहिती सादर करून नोंदणी करावी लागेल. नोंदणी केल्यानंतर दुकानामध्ये उपलब्ध वस्तू अथवा मालाची माहिती, साठा, त्याची किंमत याचा तपशील सादर करावा लागेल.

याशिवाय जे दुकानदार स्वत:च्या मनुष्यबळाद्वारे घरपोच सेवा देण्यास इच्छूक आहेत त्यांनीही ॲपवर नोंदणी करावी किंवा संपर्क क्रमांकावरून माहिती कळवावी, असे आवाहनही मनपाद्वारे करण्यात आले आहे.

सद्यस्थितीत मनपाच्या अधिकृत nmcnagpur.gov.in या संकेतस्थळावरून हे दोन्ही ॲप डाउनलोड करता येउ शकतात. ज्यांना ॲप डाउनलोड करणे शक्य नाही त्यांनी ०७१२-२५२२२२२ या क्रमांकावर संपर्क साधावा. संपर्क साधणा-या ग्राहक आणि दुकानदारांना जीवनावश्यक वस्तूंसंदर्भात आवश्यक ती सर्व मदत केली जाईल. ग्लोबल लॉजिक (Global Logic) कंपनीद्वारे दोन्ही ॲप तयार करण्यात आले असून त्याला ‌ऋत्विक जोशी यांच्या नीती (NEETII) या कंपनीचे तांत्रिक सहकार्य लाभले आहे.

1 more positive tests from Yavatmal, total Vidarbha is 96

Nagpur: On Monday, a 40-year-old Yavatmalian, one of the eight reported positive COVID-19 case reports in town, which was among the high-risk contacts, tested positive. This brings to 12 the number of positive cases in COVID-19 in Yavatmal. Three patients were treated and released from these diseases.

The isolation unit of GMCH Yavatmal is currently admitted to nine patients. Seven of them come from other States (UP, West Bengal and Delhi) and two from Yavatmal. In Yavatmal from the last three days, major intensive surveillance and screening of the regions in which these successful patients used to stay is underway. More than 150 samples of swab have been obtained and analyzed. Among these, up to Monday, 104 tested negative and one tested positive.

On Monday, 154 people in GMCH Yavatmal isolation and 64 people are in institutional quarantine, 23 of them in the Girls Hostel on Dhamangaon Route and 41 in the GMCH Yavatmal Boys Hostel.

In Chandrapur laboratory?

Vijay Wadettiwar, Chandrapur Minister for Relief and Rehabilitation, and Chandrapur Minister for Desaster Management announced the establishment of a separate test laboratory in Chandrapur for COVID-19 samples. He has argued, that the coronavirus lab will be built here at the GMCH at a cost of Rs2.18 crore. He said this sum will be raised from the Chandrapur Mining Department’s Social Responsibility Fund. He said that construction on the new laboratory would commence on Tuesday. Both samples are currently being sent for testing to Nagpur of suspected coronavirus patients in Chandrapur. In Chandrapur district, health authorities have reported 47 suspected patients. Testing samples were sent to 39 patients, and 28 results were sent, all negative. There are still eleven remaining records.

Lab, Amravati Minister Yashomati Thakur, also Guardian of the Amravati, has said that Amravati will be the location of a laboratory for Covid-19. This late Monday evening, Thakur tweeted saying that she spoke in this regard already to Minister of Health Rajesh Tope and Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. This laboratory is expected to start at either the Department of Microbiology at Amravati University or the Deshmukh College in Punjabrao. There are currently 113 Amravati samples to test and tests are still pending. 409 swab samples from Amravati have been submitted to date, including 271 negative, 5 positive and 10 invalid.

नागपुर में बीते 2-3 दिनों से कोरोना संक्रमित व्यक्तियों की संख्या बढ़ती जा रही है जो की नागपुर के लिए बहुत ही चिंता का विषय है।इसी के साथ आज फिर 3 लोगों की कोरोना टेस्ट रिपोर्ट पॉजिटिव अाई है।इन लोगों को एमएलए हॉस्टल में क्वारंटाइन किया गया था।बताया जा रहा है के कोरोना संक्रमित व्यक्तियों में से कई लोगों का संबंध जबलपुर निवासी निजामुद्दीन से है।इसी के साथ नागपुर भी बीते दिनों में बड़े हुए केसेस को वजह से रेड जोन में शामिल होगया है।और फिलहाल नागपुर में कुल कोरोना  पॉजिटिव की संख्या बढ़कर 47 होगया है ।

और महाराष्ट्र भी सबसे ज्यादा कोरोना संक्रमित व्यक्तियों का गढ़ बन गया है।महाराष्ट्र की स्तिथि देखते हुए मुख्यमंत्री श्री उद्घाव ठाकरे भी चिंतित है।

इसी के चलते उन्होंने लॉक डाउन 30 अप्रैल तक बड़ा दिया है साथ ही महाराष्ट्र को 3 जोन में बांट दिया गया है।ये जोन होंगे रेड,ऑरेंज और ग्रीन।

रेड जोन में महाराष्ट्र के कई जिले जैसे ठाणे,मुंबई,नागपुर,पुणे,पालघर,रायगढ़,सांगली और औरंगाबाद।

Summer is here, 41.1 degree Celsius records in city

Nagpur: Mercury levels have crossed the 40 degree Celsius Level at many places in Vidarbha to signal the beginning of harsh summers. The meteorology department’s countrywide weather forecasts that on April 14 and 15, heatwaves are likely to build across Northwest Vidarbha.

The highest temperature of this year until today was 41.1 degrees Celsius on Sunday in Nagpur. The mercury levels were 0.6 degrees higher than average. As it was 40,3 degrees Celsius in the city, the maximum temperature was 40 degrees Celcius one day earlier.

Besides Nagpur, the highest temperature spikes also occur in other parts of the country. Akola was the warmest on Saturday in the area with a maximum temperature of 42 degrees Celsius, beating 40 degrees a week earlier. For Sunday it was also cooler with a high temperature of 42.8 degrees Celsius.

Amravati and Wardha were next in line, both of which had on Sunday high temperature of 41.6 degrees Celsius. Only 40 degrees a day earlier had reached them.

However, the temperatures of Sunday were 40.5, 40.2 and 40 degrees Celsius respectively by Chandrapur, Bramhapuri and Gadchiroli.

The 40-degree threshold remained in Gondia and Washim at 39.8 and 39.6 degrees Celsius.

The public could, however, get some relief from the increasing sun. Nagpur is expected to have light to moderate rains in some areas as well as thunderstorms due to wind discontinuity, according to the Regional Meteorological Center (RMC). Nagpur.

According to the prevision, on 12, 14, 15 and 16 April, Nagpur is likely to receive some thundersnow spells. The city is forecast to experience a high maximum temperature of 42-43 degrees Celsius during the next week.

Even last month, with increasing temperatures, rain fell in the area. According to TOI, Nagpur has been the most precipitous in the last five years for the month of March. शहरभर के लगभग 40 हजार सैलूनकर्मचारियों पर लॉक डाउन के चलते गहराया वित्तीय संकट

नागपुर :नागपुर शहर के लगभग सभी जिलों को मिला कर 17 से 20 हजार सैलून और उसमे काम कर रहे व्यक्तियों की स्तिथि लॉक डाउन के बाद काफी चिंताजनक होगयी है।इन सभी सैलूनों पर अनुमान के तौर पर लगभग 40 हजार कारीगर काम किया करते थे।किन्तु अब यह स्तिथि है के सैलून कर्मचारियों और मालिक पर बड़ा आर्थिक संकट आ गया है कुछ लोगों की तो दुकान भी किराए से ली हुई थी ऐसे में उनके ऊपर आर्थिक संकट गहरा गया है।

नाभिक समाज की महिलाओं का भी कुछ ऐसा ही कहना है कई महिलाएं ब्यूटी पार्लर कर अपना घर खर्च चलाती हैं ऐसे में बंद के बाद से उनकी कोई आमदनी नहीं हो पा रही है।कई महिलाओं ने तो किराए से भी पार्लर के लिए दुकानें ली थी किन्तु अब यह व्यवसाय कुछ दिनों से पूरी तरह से ठप हो गया है। और दुकानों का किराया देना मुश्किल होगया है क्यूंकि बंद की वजह से आमदनी कुछ हो ही नहीं रही।

इसके साथ ही कई लोगों ने 2 हजार से लेकर 20 हजार रुपए महीने तक भाड़े पर सैलून और दुकानें ले रखीं थी तो कुछ ने ठेले भाड़े पर ले रखे थे।कोरोना संक्रमण के चलते लॉक डाउन हुआ और एहतियात के तौर पर कुछ जगह तो 19 मार्च से ही सैलूनों को बंद करवा दिया गया था ऐसे में इन सभी पर भारी वित्तीय संकट आ पड़ा है। इस स्तिथि से कैसे उभरा जाए सभी के सामने यह प्रश्न है।
