Suspected COVID-19 patient held at railway station Nagpur

As the state government has asked all the offices, shops in the city should remain closed until March 31, as the number of positive COVID-19 cases in the state has increased. And today a suspected Delhi individual has been brought into the MLA hostel quarantine facility.

After traveling from Moscow, Russia the individual had landed at Delhi airport. He was told to be isolated after screening to check-up and stop flying.

According to sources, even after suggestions from doctors at Delhi airport, having his hometown in Vijayawada, the individual had been taken on board a train that was later requested by the city police to stop his journey at Nagpur railway station. The individual was keeping a quarantine stamp on his hand by which the police caught him.

No new positive case in Vidarbha reported

Nagpur: No positive case has been registered in Vidarbha since 16 March, while Maharashtra recorded 12 new Covid-19 patients on Saturday. There are seven positive patients in the area, as on Saturday, four in Nagpur and three in Yavatmal.

A Yavatmal resident with a travel history to Congo was positively checked on Saturday in Mumbai. This patient was admitted to Mumbai. Since he is a Yavatmal resident, his name has been added by the government to the list of Yavatmal patients.

On Saturday, Nagpur reported no new positive patient. The four patients treated in government hospitals are rapidly recovering.

In the first batch, eight samples were checked at the IGGMCH laboratory on Saturday. Those include Gadchiroli, Akola, and GMCH and IGGMCH. They are two. All eight have been negatively checked.

The second lot consisted of 15 samples from all over Vidarbha. Eight of these were GMCH, three IGGMCH, two Gadchiroli, three Sewagram and one Bhandara. GMCH Yavatmal has also submitted seventh-day samples of two admitted patients. The 15 samples were checked on Saturday and the tests on Sunday were expected.

GMCH sources confirmed that four new offenders arrived on Saturday at the hospital. There was a 19-year-old girl who had travelled through London history. She returned on 16 March with the last 10 days of sore throat. One suspect is a 22-year-old man who returned on March 5 from Thailand. He has a sore throat, cough and cold.

On Saturday, two male offenders, 38 and 31 respectively, were admitted to GMCH. They are in close touch with supportive GMCH patients. They have been sent to IGGMCH for testing and reports are awaited.

In Yavatmal in the last two days, two new suspects were admitted to the isolation facility. According to M Devendra Singh, District Collector, one was admitted on Saturday and one on Friday. Singh said, “Their swab samples were sent to IGGMCH, Nagpur.”

Four students with travel experience from Bangkok submitted their swab samples on Friday in Akola. The samples were sent to Nagpur and the results are awaited.

Private hospitals to close down their OPD

Vidarbha Hospitals Association (VHA) has called on all the private hospitals, nursing homes and clinics in Nagpur to keep their outpatient departments (OPDs) closed from 21 March in order to prevent rushing into safe hospitals and visits to daily tests. Nagpur: Dr Ashok Arbat, President of VHA, said all the hospitals will continue to provide emergency services.

“Hospitals linked to VHA have stopped routine visits to health inspections and have now postponed the scheduled operations. Now all our hospitals and nursing homes have been called upon to retain closed OPDs and to warn patients not to come to routine check-ups, “he said. Most private corporate hospitals in town are linked to VHA.

“Private hospitals are committed to supplying government officials with their facilities to combat the outbreak of coronavirus. We are in regular contact with the authorities of the country, “he said.

Dr. Arbat also recommended patients to visit hospitals or clinics from 21 March for routine examinations, if this was not required. “If possible, you can call the doctor and make sure that the OPD works or does not,” he said.

The VHA assured its readiness to work with the government authorities by offering assistance in the quarantine installations for technological or human capital. VHA has already suggested that a whole hospital with less occupancy be transferred to the government and established as the “Quarantine Hospital.”

In the meantime,’ Talk to Doctor ‘ 24X7 Helpline has launched the Indian Medical Association (IMA). “Patients should call 9999672238 & 9999672239 and address it with doctor 24 hours a day. We should have all the information about coronavirus, “said Nagpur IMA President Dr. Kush Jhunjhunwala.

IMA has also released a WhatsApp to disfigure all the unfounded knowledge spread on social media sites. That is 9823087561.

“Anyone can send something crazy about corona viral infection to this WhatsApp No. and in a few hours they will receive a scientific reply. This WhatsApp facility is only accessible for Maharashtra residents, “said Dr Manjusha Giri, IMA Nagpur’s Honorary Secretary. IMA has also supported and encouraged the Janata Curfew call, as it has a scientific basis.

उसके साथ ही दूसरे दृश्य में कोरोना से बचने का संदेश और जागरूकता का संदेश देते हुए एक पुलिस ऑफिसर दिखाई दे रहा है।इस तरह के नए और अनोखे तरीकों को अपनाकर नागपुर पुलिस लोगों को सचेत करना चाहती है।यह वीडियो सही मायने में बहुत सराहनीय कदम है।

नागपुर शहर में लागू हुआ संक्रामक रोग अधिनियम ,घर से बाहर निकलने पर होगी जेल

नागपुर:दरअसल नागपुर प्रशासन ने कोरोना संक्रमण से बचने के लिए एक नया फैसला किया है। जिसके अन्तर्गत सिटी को लॉक डाउन करदिया गया है और लोगों को घर में ही रहने के आदेश दिए गए हैं।यदि कोई बिना कोई गंभीर कारण से घर से बाहर घूमता पाया गया तो उसको एक महीने की जेल हो सकती है।साथ ही यदि सड़क पर कोई निजी वाहन भी दिखाई देता है तो उस पर भी कार्यवाही हो सकती है।

यह फैसला संक्रामक रोग अधिनियम 1987 धारा 10  तहत लिया गया है।राज्य में दिनों दिन बढ़ते कोरोना वायरस के मामलों को देखते हुए यह कदम उठाया गया है।

Lockdown in town, police urge people to empty public spaces in the midst of the scare of Coronavirus

Nagpur updates: With an increasing threat of novel coronavirus, Maharashtra police in Nagpur called on people to vacate public spaces on Friday. All private and corporate facilities in the city have been shut down except those that provide critical services.

Police, who were seen patrolling the streets, advised people to remain indoors until 31 March in an effort to avoid the spread of the deadly coronavirus.

Since the growing number of COVID-19 incidents, major cities in Maharashtra were locked down extensively. With more than 50 coronavirus cases, the state has become the worst hit in the world.

So far, four people have been screened positive for Nagpur coronavirus. It seems that the outbreak, which has caused countless people to work from home, has not been able to stop Nagpur police officers from appearing in their workplace.

On Friday, police in Nagpur vowed to combat the coronavirus before it stops. A photo of uniform officials in front of helmets “working out of the police station” was posted on Twitter by the police.

थुंकणाऱ्यांकडून केला पाच हजारांचा दंड वसूल

‘कोरोना’च्या पार्श्वभूमीवर शहरात स्वच्छता राहावी, यासाठी सर्वस्तरावर जनजागृती होत असताना काही नागरिक मात्र आपल्या सवयी सोडण्यास तयार नाहीत. अशा नागरिकांच्या सवयीवर वचक बसविण्यासाठी नागपूर महानगरपालिकेच्या उपद्रव शोध पथकाने संविधान चौकात विशेष मोहीम चालवित काही तासांतच २७ जणांवर कारवाई करीत पाच हजार रुपयांचा दंड वसूल केला आणि यापुढे असे कृत्य करु नये, या शब्दात बजावले.

नागपूर महानगरपालिकेचे आयुक्त तुकाराम मेंढे यांच्या मार्गदर्शनात उपद्रव शोध पथकाचे प्रमुख वीरसेन तांबे यांच्या नेतृत्वात धरमपेठ आणि मंगळवारी झोनच्या उपद्रव शोध पथकाच्या चमूने ही कारवाई केली. शहरातील रस्त्यांवर थुंकल्याने संसर्गजन्य रोगाचा प्रसार अधिक होतो. त्यातच सध्या कोरोना विषाणूचा प्रादुर्भाव असल्याने शहरातील प्रशासकीय यंत्रणा याबाबत अधिक सतर्क आहे.

थुंकणाऱ्या व्यक्तींवर कारवाईचा बडगा उगारण्यासाठी मनपाच्या उपद्रव शोध पथकाने कंबर कसली आहे. याअंतर्गत गुरुवारी (ता. १९) संविधान चौकात कारवाई करण्यात आली.

मध्यप्रदेश परिवहन मंडळाच्या बसमधील प्रवासी, स्टार बसमधील प्रवासी, ऑटो चालक, कार चालक, ट्रकचालक अशा विविध २४ व्यक्तींनी रस्त्यावर थुंकल्यामुळे त्यांच्यावर कारवाई करीत प्रति व्यक्ती २०० याप्रमाणे ४६०० रुपयांचा दंड वसूल करण्यात आला. गाडीतूनच रस्त्यावर कचरा टाकणाऱ्या चार व्यक्तींवरही पथकाने कारवाई केली.

प्रति व्यक्ती १०० रुपये प्रमाणे त्यांच्याकडून ४०० रुपयांचा दंड वसूल करण्यात आला. दोन्ही कारवाईतून एकूण पाच हजार रुपये उपद्रव शोध पथकाने वसूल केले असून १ मार्च ते १८ मार्चपर्यंत सुमारे २०४ थुंकणाऱ्या व्यक्तींवर कारवाई करण्यात आली आहे. वसूल केलेल्या दंडाची रक्कम ४०,२०० रुपये इतकी आहे.

 

उदय नगर में एक टिप्पर ने मारी कार और बाइक को भीषण टक्कर

नागपुर:आज सुबह का मामला उदय नगर मानेवाडा रोड़ का है।एक टिप्पर ने एक कार और एक बाइक को भीषण टक्कर दी।यह हादसा करीब आज 9-10 बजे की बीच हुआ।ड्राइवर ने इतनी स्पीड बड़ा रखी थी के इतनी जोरदार टक्कर हुई और टक्कर के साथ 2-3 वाहनों को साथ में लपेट लिया। हादसे से जुड़ी कुछ तस्वीरें आप देख सकते हैं कि किस तरह से वाहनों की स्तिथि होगयी है।

प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों ने पुलिस कंट्रोल रूम को इस हादसे की जानकारी दी। हालाकि इस हादसे में किसी के गंभीर रूप से घायल होने की बात सामने नहीं आयी है। फिलहाल पुलिस ने टिप्पर ड्राइवर के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज करके आगे की कार्यवाही शुरू करदी है।

एयरपोर्ट के बाहर की कैंटीन अभी भी है चालू जबकि यह स्थान अभी कोरोना के चलते संवेदनशील बना हुआ है 

नागपुर :एक तरफ तो प्रशाशन के आदेश से सभी दुकानें, मॉल्स,थियेटर,ऑफिस,मंदिर,होटल्स बंद है।किन्तु आश्चर्य की बात यह है के नागपुर विमानतल के बाहर कैंटीन अभी भी चालू है।यहां कुछ तस्वीरें दी गई है जिसमें साफ तौर पर आप देख सकते है के एयरपोर्ट के बाहर की कैंटीन जो कि फिलहाल अति संवदेनशील जगह है वहां अभी भी लोगों की भीड़ जमा हो रही है जबकि अभी वहां देखा जाए तो खतरा सबसे ज्यादा है।विमानतल से उतरने के बाद सबसे पहले लोग यहीं जमा होते हैं।प्रशाशन को इसकी ओर भी ध्यान देने की जरूरत है।

अन्यथा यह भी कहीं कोरोना का फैलने का एक केंद्र ना बन जाए।

Rahate Colony, stations ready for Bansi Nagar Metro

Nagpur: By the end of this month, MahaMetro will open two more Metro stations. The railway stations in Rahate Colony and Bansi Nagar are ready and Metro Rail Safety Commissioner (CMRS) was invited to inspect them. It is expected that the inspection will take place between 27 and 29 March.

A Metro spokesperson said after CMRS provided the green signal, the stations would be opened immediately. “Rahate Colony is on the Sitabuldi stretch to Khapri (Reach I) while Bansi Nagar is on the Sitabuldi stretch to Lokmanya Nagar (Reach III). After these stations open, we expect our ridership to increase on both reaches. That had happened after we opened the Reach I station at Jaiprakash Nagar, “he added.

In October of November 2019, Rahate Colony station would have begun running. It’s 4 to 5 months behind budget. Once Reach I came into service in March 2019, MahaMetro had planned to open by December 2019 the remaining stretch stations Jaiprakash Nagar, Rahate Colony, Ajni Square, Ujjwal Nagar, Congress Nagar, and Chhatrapati Nagar—. Now, when all those stations will open, Metro can not tell.

Ajni Square station was almost ready and was likely to open under CMRS inspection in April, the spokeswoman said.

Commenting on the opening station issue, the spokesperson said the contractor ILFS had gone bankrupt and left the job halfway through. “We had to retenee the job and send it to other firms. There was a waste of two to three months in the process, “he said.

He also said the Ujjwal Nagar station faced land acquisition issues as the landowner had moved the court. “Opening is going to be the last,” he said.

He said that the deadline was March 2021, when the entire Nagpur Metro project was completed. “By that time, we will complete Sitabuldi to Prajapati Nagar (Reach IV) and Sitabuldi to Automotive Square (Reach II),’ he added.
