Nagpur: Aapli Bus has dropped drastically as many residents tend to operate from their homes or stop using public transportation to limit their exposure to new coronavirus(Covid-19).

Against an average of 1,50 lakh per day, a daily number of commuters has decreased to 90,000, “a senior officer from the transport department of Nagpur Municipal Corporation reported. He added that there was also a drop in daily revenue from Rs 21 lakh to Rs 15 lakh.

Via three Red Bus operators and one female bus operator alone, the NMC operates 361 coaches on 112 routes. These busses fly over 80,000 km a day and take over 5,500 journeys a day.

Owing to the outbreak of Covid-19 and the consequent restrictions imposed by authorities, riders would undoubtedly see a further decline.

“We are not completely able to take the bus service away from traffic at a time when the coronavirus is so overwhelming,” said Chairman of the Narendra Borkar Transport Committee, adding: “NMC City Transportation Services is a lifeline for many people. When people do travel, you have to presume that it is necessary for the functioning or for certain purposes such as visiting hospitals, market places, etc…”We have actually taken two journeys each to guarantee social distance until March 31, taking into account the risks associated with a Covid-19 outbreak.

Borkar said that while the NMC operates Aapli Bus 361 on 112 routes and on seven routes, there is heavy-handed traffic in Kamptee, Kanhan, Kalmeshwar, Khaperkheda, Butibori, Ambajhari-defense and Hingna. He said much of the rush is seen during the morning and evening peak hours.

Furthermore, the Aapli Bus operators have already disinfected city buses twice a day.

Nagpur: As students find themselves in for a forced vacation due to shutdown, parents are forced to adapt to the situation and keep their children busy throughout the day. With restrictions on outside travel and public places, the task is even more challenging for parents. At the same time, all parents are enjoying the extra family time.
Dr Vaishali Khetrapal said the side benefit has been that all of them are spending more time together. “Though the actual reason behind this holiday is not good at all, we are enjoying this break as a family. Being a medical practitioner, I get less time with my family, but now we have made it a habit to have breakfast, lunch and dinner together,” said Dr Khetrapal.
Ahilyaa Taneja said indoor games have come to her rescue. “I play board games with my child and we have many hours dedicated to his study every day,” said Tanjea.
Amit Singh said it’s a mix of activities that keep his son engaged. “For entertainment, there are books, board games and educational videos. I also urge him to step out in the backyard and play for at least an hour. The main benefit of this shutdown is that he can spend ample time with his grandparents which is otherwise difficult due to daily routines,” said Singh.
Manish Puri said the holiday is bringing out the creative side of his son. “We are trying to occupy him with new paints and drawings as he loves that. We are trying our level best to keep him off the constant use of social media, and are making him occupied by online teacher training programmes,” said Puri.
Ujjwala Raut said it’s a difficult time to manage. “It takes a bit of doing because it is natural for kids to be attracted to TV, phone etc. But still, with a bit of thinking, we can keep them engaged in a productive manner,” said Raut.
Sheetal Sharma said she is encouraging her child to read more. “Instead of wasting their time on social media and video games, it is important to make the long days productive. Studies are of course important too. Due to this forced vacation, we are also getting to spend a lot of family time together,” said Sharma.
Shabhat Raza said the situation is unfortunate but this forced vacation has many advantages. “Those parents who are unable to spend time with their children due to their busy schedules are able to spend time with them. I prepare my child for exams regularly and fix time in the day for studies,” said Raza.
Sudha Raut said it was indeed a challenge to keep kids engaged all the time. “Due to this sudden vacations, daily schedule has been disturbed as there is no playing and all kids stay awake till late. We still try to keep them engaged in homework as tuitions are also closed, or any other physical activities at home only as it’s not safe outside,” said Raut.
Pooja Jichkar said she is simply enjoying spending time with her son. “We have a good time together and I give him some of the other work to keep him busy. When the schools reopen, there will be no problems and he will be back to routine,” said Jichkar.

Nagpur: the killed epidemic of coronavirus has led to an unprecedented lockdown and most residents have been self-quarantined to avoid the virus.

Where, on the one hand, Maharashtra’s highest number of cases that led to Mumbai’s death is registered, the people of Nagpur were recently seen on the streets to exert after gyms were shut down because of the pandemic virus.

Citizens in Nagpur gathered on the streets to train after the Coronavirus stopped all of the gyms in the state. “We are developing our system of immunity by exercising,” said the local Hardeep Bhatia. In a recent Maharashtra Ministry of Health, a 22-year-old woman who has been testing positive for COVID19 in Mumbai has a history of travelling to the United Kingdom.

Another 49-year-old woman from Ulhasnagar has tested positive today; she has a history of travelling to Dubai. The cumulative number of successful cases in the state reaches 47.

Nagpur updates:- दरअसल मामला है नागनी ब्रिज के पास बने श्री कृष्ण खोड़े उद्यान का,कहने के लिए तो यह उद्यान बंद है । यहां तक के बाहर से ताला भी लगा है उद्यान के गेट पर जैसा के आप दिखाई गई तस्वीरों में देख सकते हैं। किन्तु हकीकत में देखा जाए तो उद्यान के अन्दर बड़े पैमाने पर लोगों की भीड़ जुटी हुई है।

यह माजरा क्या है समझ थोड़ा मुश्किल है क्योंकि एक तरफ गार्डन के गेट पर लॉक लगा हुआ और नोटिस भी है के कोरोना वायरस संक्रमण ना फैले उसके चलते उद्यान को बंद किया गया है लेकिन जब आप हकीकत में जा कर उद्यान के अंदर देखेंगे तो  पैमाने पर आपको बहुत से लोग यहां तक के कुछ छोटे बच्चे भी वहां खेलते हुए दिखाई देंगे।

इसका कारण क्या है यह तो कहना मुश्किल है किन्तु प्रशासन के आदेशों की अनदेखी हो रही है वह आप साफ तौर पर देख सकते हैं । और साथ ही में कहीं ना कहीं एक जिम्मेदार नागरिक होने का फ़र्ज़ निभाने से भी हम चूक रहें है।जहां देश में सरकार और आमजन को तालमेल बैठा के कोरोना को देश से बाहर करना चाहिए वहां हम भीड़ में एकत्रित हो कर कहीं मुसीबत को आमंत्रित तो नहीं कर रहे । यह सोचने का विषय है।

Nagpur updates:- कोरोना वायरस के कारण जामसावली स्थित प्रसिद्ध चमत्कारिक हनुमान मंदिर को प्रशासन ने 31मार्च तक बंद करने का निर्णय लिया है। सौंसर एसडीएम ने आम लोगों के लिए एक अपील जारी करते हुए 31 मार्च तक जामसांवली हनुमान मंदिर में न जाने के लिए कहा है।

एसडीएम ओमप्रकाश सनोडिया ने कहा कि वर्तमान स्थिति में इस बीमारी को फैलने से रोकने के लिए सावधानी बरतना जरूरी है इसलिए चमत्कारिक हनुमान मंदिर जामसांवली के भक्तों से अनुरोध किया गया है कि अपने-अपने घरों से ही भगवान की आराधना करें और 31 मार्च तक मंदिर में दर्शन के लिए नही आएं।
